Welcome to the Sunnyside Bungalow, a bright and spacious retreat in the charming coastal town of Morehead City, North Carolina. Just a 5-minute drive from Atlantic Beach, this getaway is perfect for friends or families looking to create lasting memories. Enjoy the beaches, explore historic downtown Beaufort, and immerse yourself in Fort Macon's deep history. This bungalow offers the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure for an unforgettable vacation.

Living Room:
Let your vacation begin! The living room is well-stocked for a game or movie night, complete with complimentary Netflix and Prime Video! *No cable television.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms:

Bedroom 1: Features a full bed, TV, and an ensuite full bath with a tub/shower combo.

Bedroom 2: Features two twin beds, TV, and a full bath located directly across from the bedroom. This is a hallway full bath with a shower.

Bedroom 3: Features a queen bed, TV, and an ensuite full bath with a large jetted tub. You can also walk out onto the deck from this room. *This ensuite bath includes a jetted tub only.

Kitchen:
The kitchen is large, open, and equipped with everything you need to prepare meals. There's ample space for dining and a coffee/tea station for enjoying your morning coffee or tea.

Dining:
The dining area is located inside the kitchen with ample seating options.

Parking:
The driveway accommodates 2 small cars. Free on-street parking is available directly in front of the house and on both sides of the street."

The House Roofline *Low
The roof line of the front porch is low. Guests 6ft and above may need to lower their heads slightly when entering and leaving the property. Do not hesitate to look at the pictures and ask us if you have a concern.

Great place

We chise this house because of it being pet friendly. It was perfectly located for us. Our sons house was 2 minutes away which was very convenient. We were there for his wedding! It was a great place for us to rest our heads.

Roaches was the problem

The house was nice , beautiful to be exact but it had roaches which made our stay not good , had to dress out of suit cases and that wasn’t pleasant every time we left and came back and to stomp roaches so we left a day early didn’t wanna bring roaches back home , home owner only refunded $50 never sent no one to stay or nothing , told him they were coming from under the refrigerator

Beautiful Home, Great Location

We had a great stay at this home. Beautiful interior with lots of natural light and conveniently located. Perfect for family or larger groups, although it was just the three of us staying. I was impressed with the amenities that were available during our stay - plenty of toilet paper, towels, dish soap, spices, etc., which is not typical for most rentals. We really enjoyed having TVs in each room, especially with a toddler. It was nice being able to watch what we wanted to during down time. Beds were surprisingly comfortable. I don’t typically sleep well outside of the house, but slept great (did bring my own pillows though). Although there plenty of towels, we could not find any bath mats. Would stay here again!

Family fishing trip

The family went down for a weekend fishing trip. The host are wonderful. The communication between myself and the host was great before and during my stay. The house was very nice and clean. I will stay here if it’s available every time I come back to the beach. I would definitely recommend.

Guys’ fishing weekend

Enjoyed a trip to Morehead for a guys’ fishing trip and Harlowe Creek provided convenient, modern, clean home. Parking was biggest obstacle but the owners made this known in advance to plan accordingly.

Weekend fishing trip

The weather may have cancelled the fishing excursion, but we made the best of it and this was a great place to be! Comfortable, clean, had everything we need! Perfect place for our trip!!

Nice layout.

Harlowe creek was very clean when we checked in. The kitchen was well stocked and we had plenty of room. I would definitely stay here again.

Spectacular home in quiet Neighborhood

We absolutely loved our stay! We have toddlers to preteens and they all were able to enjoy their time too. The door locks they use are just about as toddler-proof as you can get (though not a problem for older kids and adults). The house is kept VERY clean, which is an absolute must for us. There are plenty of cleaning supplies and tools to use for cleaning up messes. There are also wonderful skylights and vaulted ceilings to keep the house cool. When we did run the AC system, we found it is so quiet we had to learn to trust that it was running at all. As promised, the kitchen is fully stocked. Everything works well in the kitchen and wasn't some awkward or cheap appliance. You can bake, cook pasta, and you even have the measuring cups and mixing bowls to do it all. Every room has its own tv and a labeled remote to go with it. The internet never had a problem even with several devices streaming. The neighborhood is quiet and respectful. It's far enough from the action. So, there's not much passing through the area, though you may hear the train pass by from a distance. The neighborhood kids are active so be careful but they are friendly. It's centrally located so you can get anywhere in the area in 15 minutes or less. We couldn't have asked for better VRBO hosts. They were very responsive and always helpful and courteous. :)

Blue fin tuna house

Excellent stay for me and a few friends on a fishing trip . The house is very fresh and stocked well for a short stay . Just like being at home . Len was very helpful with a few questions I had .
