This home is a 10/10 for sure! The large, beautiful home in a spectacular location would be enough for praise but the amenities are too good to believe. The game room, the pool table, the stocked kitchen, the real wood fireplace, the rope swings, sleds, kayaks, every appliance you might need, a medicine cabinet that has every first aid item imaginable, and 3 great bedrooms plus sofa beds. And somehow the setting is perfectly remote while being only 5 minutes from the lake. We're already planning our next visit.

We had such a wonderful time at the cabin. It was the perfect location for our family to get together. Alex thought of every detail in this home which made our stay extra comfortable. Would highly recommend and would stay here again.

Little family get away

The cabin was amazing. It was very quiet, we used one kayak and a paddleboard and thoroughly enjoyed the game room.

Pictures don’t do it justice.

We had a great time. It was so relaxing. There was so much that was provided which I didn’t expect. The house was very clean and organized. Originally we were going to bring our dogs, but I didn’t want to worry about them with having 2 young children too. The dogs would have done fine with the way the property is fenced off so now I know for next time. We slept in master bedroom with our 2 year old and 10 month old and couldn’t hear anything upstairs which was great.

Our family was simply amazed at this beautiful cabin….There was everything and more when it comes to amenities as well as how new and clean this home is. Practically brand new cabin in a very beautiful but serene location. We will come back and this cabin home is a great value for what we paid! Super clean and spacious cabin!

What a wonderful stay!

We had planned on using the house as home base for outdoor activities for 4 adults and 2 teens, but the weather had something else in mind. We experienced rain during much of our visit and had to hole up in the house. However, the fireplace, TV area on the second floor made it a wonderful place to hang out. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Cabin

We all very much enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had everything you needed. The kids enjoyed the pool table and the rope swing We would love to come back again.

Our Favorite Vacation Home

Just wow! The property is stunning. And the house has such a wonderful cabin vibe. So much space for kids to sleep (there are foldout couches in the play room). We loved the outdoor swing and played on it for hours. The property is fenced so dogs can run around. Also stocked with everything you could possibly need. So many small details that made the stay lovely including the medecine cabinet and fun magazines to read. Highly recommend!! We’ll be back!

Beautiful Cabin

It was a very nice cabin with lots of room. We brought our 4 dogs with us too. We enjoyed the many amenities offered by the cabin. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay.

Incredible place for a family gathering

We came here from Virginia to meet up with our two kids and their families and my wife's nephew and his family. The house is very well stocked with bath towels, beach towels, basic spices, games, and water toys for the lake. There are multiple places to gather -- front porch, reach deck, game room, living room -- so we never felt like we were on top of one another. We had 8 people for four days and 11 for 3 days. We want to come back!

wonderful retreat

The house was spacious and welcoming, and well-stocked with supplies. The kayaks, paddleboard and floaties were a big plus as was the proximity to the lake. Pool table and games provided fun social time for all ages. Alex promptly answered all my questions. Everything was in place, so our group only had to enjoy our time together. Would come again.

Fabulous Family Fun Time

We loved staying at this house with our extended family. The many sleeping options gave us the flexibility to give everyone a great nights rest. We really appreciated all the smaller details they had onsite like shampoo, trash bags, baggies, bug spray and laundry soap. It felt like a home and we didn't have to spend time heading to the store to refill these items. We were there 4th of July weekend and were lucky enough to get to enough Sly Lake because they included their annual pass with the rental when the lake was full to all day users. The AC units also kept up with the 114 degree heat wave which was the most fabulous surprise about this home. Thanks for thinking of all the details Alex!

Most beautiful home!

Gorgeous log cabin with all the amenities

My husband and I traveled here from Arizona to visit our kids and grandkids and celebrate our newest grandchild’s first birthday. Our family loved all the games & activities in a beautiful, thoughtfully appointed cabin & setting, making memories that will last a lifetime. Our conversations around home cooked meals and in front of the huge river rock fireplace were topped off only by the gently falling snow, visible from the numerous tall windows. It was all quite breathtaking!

What a great place!

Stayed her for a family getaway weekend at Apple hill and everything was great! This was the best stocked kitchen at any property I’ve stayed at- had all the things. Alex made check in super easy, was accommodating and quick to respond! The rope swing was the highlight of the weekend of weekend for the kids. Great place overall- hope to stay again soon.
