VERY UNIQUE LARGE PROPERTY with heated pool (open 05/07-09/01)located in the foothills with views in every direction! Splash and play to your heart's content and hike and bike out your door on the trail system and beyond. Enjoy mountain views and sunsets during the day from the West deck or curl up on the deck furniture next to the fireplace, or soak in the hot tub and marvel at the night time city views from the East deck. The home's rustic interior is spacious and comfortable with large common areas-a well stocked kitchen and eating nook make mealtimes fun, as well as a dining room where you can pass many hours in style! The pantry/laundry room is off of the kitchen area and holds a 2nd full size refrigerator/freezer and full size washer/dryer. The living room has a large leather sectional sofa with electric footrests, a massage chair and a beautiful rock fireplace below the large screen TV. Short drive to downtown Colorado Springs, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Broadmoor Hotel, Norris Penrose Event Center, and so much more! The outdoor pool is closed for the winter. Access miles of trails through the back gate of the property-enjoy!

A beautiful home. The bedroom and bathroom set-up was ideal for our three families. The expansive outdoor living was perfect. The hot tub and fire place kept us warm while we enjoyed the night time views. House was clean and well maintained.

Great stay and great properties for families of varying ages. Great view and great access to a trail right at your back yard. We used the pool frequently, this was one of the top properties we have stayed at and we highly recommend. Janelle was very responsive to everything we needed they are fantastic hosts! I wouldn’t stay anywhere else at Colorado Springs!

Owners of the Home are amazing. This home is close to everything we wanted to do. Zoo, Garden of the gods. Red rock canyon and manitou Springs. The living space had more than enough room to accommodate all of us. After a morning of sightseeing the pool and hot tub were great for relaxing! Would definitely stay here again!

Great family vacation!

We absolutely loved our stay! Perfectly located for everything in Colorado Springs- seemed like it was 10-15 from everywhere. The house was incredible- nice, clean, and well-stocked with all necessities. Pool and hot tub were amazing. Lots of room in common areas and bedrooms. But the views were absolutely the highlight! The mountains on one side and the entire city on the other!! Hosts were amazing and met us as we arrived and walked us through the house. Our best stay ever!

If I could give extra stars, I would! We took our six teenagers on an roadtrip for spring break (because we are crazy) and they all said this was the BEST place we’ve ever stayed in! It was beautiful, clean, homey, well-stocked, and so comfortable. Janelle was such an incredible hostess—friendly and responsive—we only had a tiny issue with the Keurig and she sent a new one within the hour. She also sent someone out to check on the hot tub for us because I mentioned it looked a little low. The kitchen was stocked above and beyond what we needed. We cooked dinner at the house every night and had no issues needing items to have full meal with (pots or pans, etc.) It was really fun having basically three bedrooms downstairs and two upstairs—we felt like we could all spread out and relax after a lot of “togetherness” hiking and whatnot. :) My favorite part—besides the cozy, huge, clean living room and the spacious dining area—was the VIEW. At night you can see all of Colorado Springs from the hot tub or while you are sitting at the fire pit. The city twinkles at night because of the high altitude and dark mountain backdrop. The sunrise was amazing every morning from the deck. My kids were only slightly sad that the pool was not open, but the hot tub sufficed. We went to The Garden of the Gods, Pike’s Peak, the Cheyenne Zoo, and downtown Colorado Springs—all just a few minutes away from the house. It was an epic trip, and the house made it all so easy and fun!

Great place to stay!

We stayed over the 4th of July holiday and we had a great time! The views were amazing in general, and we had a 180 degree view of fireworks from the deck. Communication was great and the owner was super kind and helpful! I 100% would recommend this property.

This property was absolutely amazing! The large outdoor space was wonderful! We (especially our 6 year old granddaughter) enjoyed the complementary s’mores package left by the host and we all spent a few nights by the fire pit. The house comes with lots of games and toys, which was so enjoyed by our grandkids. It was so child friendly. The layout was spacious, yet cozy, and had everything we could possibly need. We loved the massage chair, especially after long days of hiking. Janell was very attentive and responsive whenever I messaged about something. The location could not be beat being about 10 minutes from everything we wanted to do. Since our stay was in October, it was too cold to enjoy the pool, so maybe next time we come, we will need to come during the summer months. Excellent property and experience here!

Perfect location! All the amenities

Within 10 minutes of everywhere we wanted to drive to. Large deck with seating, heated pool, pool toys, slide and hot tub were a hit. The massage chair was great too. Spacious for multiple families to enjoy a getaway!

Best VRBO experience we’ve ever had!

The property is better than listed. We have stayed in several vacation rentals in the past. This house was the best one yet. Communication with the host was outstanding. They answered all questions and let us stay an extra couple hours after checkout since we had a later flight home. The house was super clean. We will definitely book again next time we are in Colorado Springs.

Perfect Fall Getaway with Amazing Views!

We picked this property for the outdoor areas and view and it did not disappoint! Even though the pool was closed for the season, we thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor deck area. We loved the hot tub, fire pit, patio lights, access to the trails, deer visitors, and gorgeous views of the fall trees and mountain during the day and the twinkling lights of Colorado Springs at night. The house was large- plenty of room- but also cozy and relaxing. It was a perfect location. We would love to return someday.

Perfect Place to Stay

We loved our stay here. The kitchen was so well stocked, we were able to cook our meals here easily and loved the nice touch of the variety of coffees and teas. The outdoor area was amazing with wonderful views, we enjoyed relaxing out there every evening with the fire pit. They thought of everything including providing an extra propane tank for us and all the fixings for s’mores. Having swim toys and lots of swim towels to use was very nice. Would definitely recommend and would love to go back.

Perfect location

We were not disappointed, it was as described. Once we arrived we were in awe of the beautiful view and the proximity to everything we wanted to do, most activities were within 10 to 15 minutes. Our adventure to the Air Force academy took about 30 minutes but it too was beautiful, the Chapel is closed for a few years. We were impressed with the many items the house had available for our use. We would definitely rent this again.

Wichita Professional Firefighters

We had 8 Honor Guard members from Wichita Kansas stay here for the Fallen Firefighters Memorial. There was tons of room, plenty of parking, easy to get to, and very clean. I think the best part was the covered back patio. It rained two of the days and we were able to grill on there Traeger grill and hang outside. Definitely the best place we have stayed at over the last 7 times coming to the memorial. Hate to leave such a good review because it might be sold out next year.

Cozy home

We thought it was gonna be an ok experience... but then the snow came down like neither i or my family were used to and well the 15 or 16 inch snow fall was great. The home was great! The hot tub outlooking the great scenery was amazing especially at night. Plenty of space , several things to do around town just an overall great experience the communication between our host was awesome! Janelle was checking on us in case we needed anything definitely helped us choose on staying again! Will definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone! My family lived it here.

Amazing family vacation property with awesome location!

My extended family stayed here for a week in July. The layout of the house was perfect for us.. grandparents, and two families with four school aged kids. The house was well maintained and the property manager was easy to get in contact with when we had questions about the pool. The pool and slide were highlights of the week for the kids (ages 7-11). The location was PERFECT! A short drive to Cheyenne Mountain for hiking, Graden of the Gods, Red Rocks Open Space, Cave of the Winds, and the Olympic Training Center, to name a few. We did our outings In the morning and the kids played in the afternoons in the pool! We also encountered some mule deer on the property which was fun for the kids to see. I would highly recommend this property!

Location, location, pampering, and everything you need

It would be impossible to have a better location for Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs, Old Colorado Springs, downtown Colorado Springs and every restaurant in the area. 10 minutes from everything, but you are in the foothills of the mountains with awesome views, the city below at night, and deer in the yard. In the house, there’s nothing more you could ask for, down to shampoo, coffee pods, and even ziplock baggies. I mention that because you just walk in and it’s all there, just bring food and clothes. Oh yeah, the pool, the hot tub, the huge TV, massage chair, outdoor covered area. Super clean, tons of space, and the perfect location. We’ve used VRBO for 15 years and never had so many of the little items of our own house at our fingertips. Kudos to the owners. Thank you.

Rocky Mountain Large home has it alll!

We really had a dream vacation. This home contained everything on our vacation list required. A very nice pool with mechanical cover, entensive decks with areas to kickback and relax. The view was amazing, a triple rainbbow ) I wish I could show a photo). The views in general were stunning. Some of us got up before sunrise and made the quick drive to watch effects of sunrise on the Garden of the Gods. We all went up at different times to the top of Pikes Peak by cogwheel railroad. Hiking was literally out the backyard. A gate allows you into the park or you can enter the park from the the main entrance 30 yards down the main. And deer forage within the neighborhood which sits above Colorado Springs and just south of Manatou Springs on the Front Range. . Lots of good restaurants and high quality groceries are nesrby. . Back to the home. It sleeps 10 of us comfortably. We cooked or BBQ’d most nights and breakfasts at the home. There was a Keurig coffee machine that was broken and contact with the owners was quick and replacement quick. The home had all the amenigies of a fine hotel. The hot tub was soothing. The massage chair was the best we ever experienced.we will be back for the next family reunion.
