Fantastic stay. 5 nice, clean rooms. Love that the host is so responsive. We asked about outdoor seating cushions and they very quickly responded and got them to us. Love the location and proximity to Twain Harte. We walked to town every day and it was beautiful. We will likely book this stay again.

The house was beautiful, plenty of space for the family getaway. Back yard was great, the game room was a hit and kept everyone busy. I will definitely be returning.

We booked this for a church women's retreat and it was the perfect size, well stocked and super fun! The hot tub was wonderful!There are some uneven floors in the home and perhaps they could be marked with paint or tape though as several tripping incidents occurred during the stay. Otherwise, we would highly recommend!

Great place for four families!

Perfect for families traveling together! Our kids (all under 7) had a blast — the space was great with children in mind. It was well-equipped, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed to keep everyone happy and entertained.

We stayed 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The home was in a great location, clean and tastefully decorated. Game room was a hit with kids and adults. We will visit again.

This house is one of the best managed rentals I’ve ever been to. It was very clean with everything you could want for a visit to Twain Harte. Plenty of dining and sleeping space for our party of 8. The game room was especially a hit with our teenage kids. Thoughtful additions like space heaters in colder parts of the house, a good selection of books & puzzles, and the hot tub was great after a day in the snow and convenient to access through one of the bathrooms. We happened to be there during a big snow storm that took out the power off and on, but because the house has a battery hooked up to solar, we were never completely without heat/electricity and able to stay comfortable . Kim & Jason were very responsive and incredible hosts, couldn’t recommend this rental more!

Wonderful Place for Big Family

Our group was 11 people, 5 to 65. We all had lots to do and more than enough space. Twain Harte is such a sweet area, and the scenery is peaceful and quiet. Great trip and a great place.

Ten of us in three generations (age 4 to 70) shared this cabin for a week. Everybody’s favorite activity was hanging out at Twain Harte Lake. Some of us went to Yosemite for the day and one day two of us hiked the 4.4 mile trail around Pinecrest Lake. I appreciated that the owner was very responsive to my questions.

Serene property

A wonderful, peaceful place to stay in the trees. The game room (e.g., pool table felt had a couple holes, dart board missing a number, no chalk for dart board scoreboard, etc) and other aspects could use some refreshing/updating, but the house overall worked out great for my family. Would definitely recommend staying here if you're going to be in the area.

Great vacation!

We enjoyed a great vacation at this great house. There was something for everyone… arcade games for the kids, pool table for the adults, and hot tub for everyone. We wished we had better weather, but we still enjoyed the lake, walked to town, and played at the playground. The hosts were great at communicating and the house was well furnished.

Beautiful and Comfortable house

We absolutely loved this place. There was entertainment for everyone, both young and old. Close to Dodge Ridge and snow parks. And you’re very close to downtown. The house was clean and had everything we needed to make meals. The host were fantastic. Looking forward to returning. 5 Stars

Amazing house and hosts

Group of family and friends stayed here for couple of nights. The house was perfect, really enjoyed our stay. Kids had a lot of fun in the game room. It was nostalgic for adults to play the retro games like super mario. Really comfortable beds. Perfect option for big group, lot of spaces to chill and relax.

What a great place to celebrate Father’s Day. Spacious home with great amenities and close to the Lake and stores. A well thought out floor plan with lots of space inside and out. Perfect Family Rental!

We are a large group of cousins that have a difficult time finding a large enough house to sleep all of us. Not only was the rental very spacious, but it actually had enough beds for all ten of us. The rental was very clean and offered lots of entertainment (games, puzzles, hot tub, lake and snow equipment). We really enjoyed everything about this place , and to top it off it’s in a great location. Will definitely be back.

We would absolutely stay here again. The house has a great layout, with the bedrooms being tucked away from noise, which was great for our family with young kids who go to sleep early and take naps. Sometimes when you do a VRBO, there is very limited dishwasher tabs, paper towels, toilet paper etc. That was not the case here- plenty of everything you need. Only downfall is the later check in (4pm) and earlier checkout (10am) than most places. The host was kind to let us check in early at 2pm, however.
