Casa Alegre, meaning “Happy House", invites you to discover the true essence of island living. Your journey to relaxation and Texas-style family fun begins here.

LOCATION - We are mid-island, beach-side, 2 houses away from Gulf Blvd and 200 yards from the beach. The nearest public beach access point is #14 Bouganvilla. This is a family-friendly, quieter area of the island.

FIRST FLOOR
Bedroom #1: King Bed w/ ensuite-style bathroom, flat panel tv
Bedroom #2: Two Twin Beds, Bunk Bed, Queen flat panel tv
Mini Kids/Family Room: Sofa, flat panel tv and beverage fridge with access to the backyard and pool
Washer/Dryer

BACKYARD:
New pool (heated)
6-burner BBQ grill

SECOND FLOOR - After a day of sun and adventure, the second floor welcomes you to an open-concept family, dining area, kitchen and guest bathroom.
Primary Bedroom: King Bed and ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower.

INFANTS:
Mini-crib with sheets & Standard adjustable high chair

PARKING:
Space for one large vehicle/SUV in the garage and 2 more large vehicles/SUVs/Trucks on the driveway.

POOL HEAT - During the winter months when the temps drop below 45, the pool heater will stop. Otherwise, we keep the pool temp at 85 during the winter season October - April.

Winter Texans - For long term monthly rentals we will require a mid stay cleaning at no charge to guest

The house is beautiful, lots of lighting and very clean. The outside is just as beautiful! Love the banana trees and the pool was the main attraction for the kids. The pool has a ledge in the front that runs the width of the pool for smaller children that cant swim. Our grandson felt like he was swimming with the rest of the kids! Beautiful place all around!!

Our family had a wonderful time, the kids had a blast in the pool but the best time was that our children and grandchildren were together under one roof making memories. Thank you to the host for making easy.

Our stay at this home in SPI was fantastic. The house was stocked with anything and everything you could need. Jenifer’s attention to the little things was much appreciated. (i.e night lights in every room)Loved the pool!!Location was a mere 4 minute walk to the beach. Jenifer is a fantastic host and can’t wait to stay again!

The perfect place

There’s so much I could say about this place. It was super clean, organized. SO BEAUTIFUL! The pictures don’t do it justice. Also loved how thoughtful they are about pups. They got blankets, bowls, leash, bags. Literally everything my pup needed, they had. Definitely booking with them again!!!!

Another day in paradise.

Our stay at this property was wonderful. The house is nicely decorated and furnished. The pool which was recently installed was a nice bonus. The location is great with only a few minutes' walk to the beach. We will definitely stay here again.

The location is fantastic. A 2 minute walk to the beach. Lots of room to hang out with the family and play in the backyard. House itself is beautiful. Numerous resort quality touches; Rain showers, beautiful countertops, great kitchen. This place will be at the top of our list every time we visit SPI

Amazing stay!

Exceeds all expectations. Amenities are high quality. Kitchen supports all needs. Yard is immaculate. Indoor decorating is superb. Seamless communications with owner. Appliances are top notch. Attention to detail is amazing. Beach access is less than 5 min walk. We will return for sure.

Quick Family get Together

We are a family of 8 plus grandpa came to visit. Didn’t feel like we where on top of each other. Just a 1/2 block to beach access and very centrally located. Host is amazing, house was just like it was listed. Plus comfy master bed and great pillows!!! I’m I stickler for a good bed while on vacation!!

Vacationing with dogs is important to us. Having a Beach home with a fenced yard at a dog friendly beach has been a life goal and we want to share that with like minded guests. The house was just renovated in 2022 with new bathrooms and kitchen. We added a private, heated pool in 2024 and are less than a block away from the sand.
