Come escape the busy in this newly remodeled cozy cottage right on the lake!
Curl up on the couch and watch the ducks swim by right in front of your house! Or tie up your bass boat to your own dock in our little cove with a beautiful view of the lake after spending the day fishing on High Rock lake. House is just around the corner from NC Wildlife public boat ramp.
This 2 bedroom house has been completely redone with new flooring, furnishings, and fixtures and is perfect for your family vacation. You will have the house and property to yourself. Kayaks and life vests provided and the cove is perfect for swimming.
A new 22’ pontoon boat is available for rental!

It was great! Pretty quiet. Right off the lake. Cozy and big enough for our 5. Had what we needed and if not, places to shop were near. Kayaks were a great plus for the kids. We caught some fish and enjoyed games in the evening. Would definitely return.

Perfect little getaway

We loved our stay in the house. Everything was very cozy. The view was beautiful and peaceful. The take traffic was pretty low so my son and I kayaked to the Hwy 8 bridge and back. The living room is set up perfectly for a game night (which we did while watching the Canes give up on life during the Eastern Conference Final). We would definitely come back!

The property was just what the listing showed. This is a beautiful home. It was very well equipped. I really enjoyed sitting on the back porch overlooking the lake in the mornings. The owners answered all of my questions via VRBO communications. One touch that I really appreciated was that I advised the owner that we would be checking in late. When we arrived there were lights on at the exterior entrance as well as within the house. The service was very "top shelf." I would recommend this property for vacation, or just a weekend getaway. Very nice home!

This house was great!! The location especially to the water was wonderful. The kayaks were right by the water making it so easy to put in and take out of the water. The house is so clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

Highly recommend this immaculate, well-stocked, and beautifully decorated lakefront home! It was the perfect setting for an annual gathering of six “old” girlfriends! Be sure to check out the brunch at nearby Childress Vineyards—it was delicious and so much fun!

Love the way this house is set up! We enjoyed our stay while family fished a bass tournament. House was perfect for us had plenty of room and felt like we were at home. Loved looking out the back window during the day. Would definitely love to stay again!
