Our tidewater stay

The room was great, just having the one outside pool for all the guests here is challenging but we're friendly lol. The only real problem is the elevators they are hot & slow, but i mean slow like ive never seen all the guests we came in contact with said the same thing.

Spring Break

We had and excellent time at this location. We were close to shopping and dining. We also were close to the pier so we were able to go fishing. I would definitely stay here again with my family.

Could’ve been great

The unit itself is nice, was plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 kids. There is a beautiful view of the beach from the balcony. It’s very close to pier park and other restaurants and stores. Our AC was out during the entire trip, with zero communication from the host regarding the issue. The host communicated fine up until I reported the AC was out, and then got no further response so we were stuck in a hot, muggy condo which sucked for sleeping. The outdoor pools are also not heated as advertised.

The location was one of the best parts. Just an elevator ride and a few steps to the beach! Super close to Pier Park as well

Awesome time!

Our second time staying at Tidewater! Very nice place and very spacious! Pool is great, front desk is great, and access to the beach is just awesome! However elevators can get a little congested and slow on weekends, but fine during the week! Overall great time though!

If you enjoy waiting on the elevator for hours then this place is for you!

The condo it’s self is nice and is in a convenient location. The overall complex however is showing it’s age and is becoming run down. The major problem however involves the lack of adequate elevators. With this condo being on the 20th floor the only option is to use the elevators. We would wait for an elevator an average of 15 minutes each time we needed to use it. It was so bad that they had employees on the elevator during busy times running them in firefighter mode utilizing radios to try and determine which floors needed relief. Do yourself a favor and pay a little extra for a place that your not spending large amounts of your vacation waiting on the elevator.

Beware don’t stay here!!!! Your stay will be HELL

From the moment we got there it was nothing but issues. Of the 3 bedrooms, the bunk bed room has a bathroom where the shower was broken and we could not use it for our whole stay (4 days) due to water leaking through the light fixture in the room under us. The WIFI was horrible it went in and out the whole time. The host had excuse after excuse why it was not being fixed. The elevators there were broken, you had to wait up to an hour for an elevator. The staff was SO rude that they even cursed at my 13 year old daughter the f-word and more. We were accused of braking a fruit drawer in the refrigerator that we never even used. I’m sure that was because the host did not want to do a partial refund due to all of our issues. I swear this place is worse than a Motel 6. Do not waste your money. EVEN after VRBO contacting the host, they would not return calls or messages.

Condo was fantastic, but elevators were very problematic

Everything about the condo was wonderful-proximity to the beach, view, provided supplies, rooms, etc. However, the elevators significantly detracted from everything else. At times, they were so slow that it severely impacted our decisions about going up to the condo or down to the beach. My MIL was a virtual prisoner in the condo because the elevator wait times were unpredictable and often too long for her. At one point, my husband tried contacting security about the elevator, but nobody answered the line and the voicemail box was full. Also, the road construction created traffic issues that affected whether we ventured out. Our sons enjoyed the pools, and my husband liked the fitness center a lot. While it seems unfair to mark down the overall rating when so much was great, the elevator situation would prevent us from ever booking another place in Tidewater.

Great condo and host!

We just spent 7 nights here for Spring Break and had a great time! The condo was really nice and comfortable and the hosts were great at answering any questions I had prior to our trip! We enjoyed staying at Tidewater overall as well!!

Family Vacation

First time using vrbo to book a vacation. Was easier than I thought and communication was good. Recommend as we just got up and walked out to the beach each day. Balcony was high enough we saw dolphins and sting rays swimming along. Everyone had a great time.

Quick trip

We took our family for a quick trip over winter break. Building Pros- indoor pool, 2 outdoor pools, 3 hot tubs, wet and dry sauna, movie room, on-site restaurant Room pros - 3 beds rooms and 3 bathrooms fit our family nicely. Balcony looks directly over the water and it’s beautiful. Building cons: The building is nice but definitely looks like it was built in the 90s with few updates. Gym equipment is very old, ripped and rusty. Food was OK. Room con: not many kitchen supplies. I think there are 4 small coffee cups, and minimal dishes and utensils so we were running dishes everyday

Beautiful views and location!

The location is wonderful. The view was remarkable. Great for 2 couples and 2 kids! The kids loved the bunk beds and everyone has their own bathrooms! The kitchen was well equipped and the decor was beachy and clean. The hiccups we did experience were very quickly resolved by the property manager. Thank you for a great stay!

Excellent! This is one of the Best Condo , Gulf view amazing!

Clean Condo, Location of property is perfect with a fantastic view of the ocean. It features a Gulf view balcony to relax and watch the beautiful sunrise and sunset. All Amenities & Indoor Movie Theater , Hot Tub we loved it! The management company responds to messages promptly and was very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

Such a beautiful condo with an amazing view.

Wonderful experience! . Condo was clean and in great shape/exactly as listed. The property was beautiful just like the pictures. The balcony and view is breathtaking. Everything was modern and update. I have absolutely no complaints. Will Stay again and recommend our friends.
