Sit under the stars and view the Milky Way away from any light pollution! Bringing your boat? No problem, large parking area to travel with your toys! Come and experience a log home the likes that can only be found on mountain resorts! RV plug in available as well!

Rental agreement is required with ID verification.
Pet Policy: Maximum 2 pets (dogs only). $100/pet, per stay.
Inventory: We provide a "starter package" of inventory for our cabin: 3 rolls of T.P. and 1 full roll of paper towels.
Firewood is available for purchase.
We do not provide propane exchanges for the grill. The nearest exchange is approximately 5 miles at the Dollar General Store.

The cabin was beautiful and just as described. Location was relaxing and really enjoyed the firepit. Will definitely consider staying again when in the area.

Provide propane for the gas grill. I've never had a host that had a policy of 'bring your own propane'. Why have a gas grill, if you can't use it.

Beautiful property in a quiet area of Makanda. We made several trips to Giant City State Park which was extremely convenient.We had to contact the host several times and Allison was very speedy with her responses and resolved a couple of minor issues that we experienced. We had 5 seniors in our party and we all had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy our week.

Cabin near Wine Trail

These accommodations were perfect for our girls group weekend getaway! We very comfortably slept 8 and the location was great for visiting wineries and state parks. The place was very clean and well stocked. Beautiful inside and outside! Definitely recommend!

Beautiful Cabin in a tranquil setting.

The cabin is absolutely beautiful and a delight to stay in. It had all the listed amenities and then some. The cabin was clean and nicely decorated. We would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely beautiful!

This house was stunning and was the perfect place to reset after a long week. Perfectly located. This is also the cleanest place we have rented on VRBO. The fireplace is the perfect touch.

Very Clean

The Cabin was very clean and comfortable. My kids loved the ping pong table and games in the basement. The Gentleman’s lounge was the perfect spot to hang out. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property in central location

We "stayed in" for a low key "relax and refresh retreat" with family, and enjoyed the living room with fireplace and porches. Communication was superb. Location is easy to get to with a rural feel and city amenities within easy reach. The family agreed we would love to return.

Quiet Getaway

We were looking for a quiet getaway for our family. It ended up raining while we were there but with the arcade games and other games on the lower level we were still able to enjoy ourselves and have an amazing time. We really enjoyed ourselves and felt right at home.
