Private Sandy Beach with Game Room

Just south of Oscoda and ~15 minutes north of Tawas City, where you can enjoy restaurants, bars, ice cream shops, movie theater, putt putt golf, farmer's market, bowling, the city park with free converts & free movies each week in the Summer...and so much more!

Our beach is large, private and flat. The adults can sit at the tiki bar or expansive deck and watch the kids play in the sand or water. You can walk the beach for miles, either direction.

LOCATION: Oscoda Beach Park (8.7 miles), AuSable Shoreline Park (9.8 miles), Tawas Point State Park (23.5 miles), boating, canoeing, fishing, swimming

I have rented several cottages on Lake Huron, this rental was by far the best. The home had every amenity we needed. The deck, beach and lake were perfect. There was lots of room for our multi-generational group. The game room kept us all occupied. The owner was very helpful and communicative.

Lovely property with everything you need as far as kitchen supplies (we did a lot of cooking in) - it was hard to leave such a beautiful beach and deck area. Beds were very comfortable and we were provided with plenty of bath towels to use. The best swimming I have seen in many years of vacationing. All sand and no rocks! Never had to use water shoes. I would highly recommend this property, we very much enjoyed our stay!

Oscoda getaway

The house was very nice and cozy. We spent most of our time on the outside deck and the beach. Evenings were spent on the beach and then inside playing cards. It was a great place to stay. We plan on renting it again.

Great beach getaway!

We found this little gem for a church group retreat and it was fantastic! The beach was beautiful and clean, along with the rest of the home. Fire on the beach every night was our very favorite part! Beds were comfortable and the game room was a hit. Chad was responsive if we had any questions and a big help for us! We would definitely stay again.

Lakefront Retreat

The beach at the property is great. Garage has plenty of games to keep kids entertained along with an upstairs apartment. Owner was responsive to all inquiries. House was well stocked with essentials.

Amazing family vacation!

We had a great time during our stay! Something to do for all ages no matter the weather! The garage with games was a great place for rainy days. View was amazing! Loved how private the beach was. We enjoyed the park, kayaking, fishing, bike riding, mini-good and more. The host was absolutely fantastic being available for questions, making suggestions for our visit, and ensuring we got a taste of the best donuts ever! Definitely recommend this place and this host!

family vacation

This house was perfect for our group, my husband and I were able to enjoy a week with our daughter, son-in-law and 7 grandkids! The house and garage was perfect for our group!! We loved the sandy yard and beach, we enjoyed relaxing mornings on the deck with spectacular sunrise views, lunch on the beach where the water was shallow and the shore is sandy ideal for kids, its great for paddle boarding and kayaking (you can rent locally and have them delivered) We ended every night under the stars, around the campfire. The beach is great for walking and perfect kite flying.. this place is definitely one we hope to visit again and again!!

Beautiful Lakefront Retreat

We spent a relaxing and memorable week at this beautiful lakefront home. The first floor is cozy and welcoming, with comfortable furniture and charming décor. We cooked most of our meals at the house and truly appreciated the well stocked kitchen and lovely dining area.The beds were very comfortable—though next time we would bring our own pillows for personal preference. While the house isn't air conditioned, the first floor stayed cool and pleasant even during the early July heat. The upstairs did get a bit warm, but thankfully there were plenty of fans provided for the bedrooms.The outdoor space is absolutely incredible. The deck offers great seating to enjoy the stunning lake views, and the fire pit area—complete with chairs—is perfect for relaxing under the stars. The highlight, of course, is the breathtaking lake just steps from the back door. With a private sandy beach, shallow and crystal-clear water, it was ideal for swimming, paddle boarding, and simply wading in.When we wanted a break from the water, the garage was fully stocked with games and activities for the whole family. The surrounding area also has so much to offer—we enjoyed a day boating on Foote Pond and another day tubing down the Au Sable River.Check-in and check-out were seamless, and Chad was always available to answer any questions. We wouldn't hesitate to return to this gem of a property—it's a truly special place!

We enjoyed the sunrise side of Michigan since we were kids, and especially this stretch of waterfront where the sand is incredible. Now that we have young children of our own, we look forward to giving them the opportunity to the sun, sand and outdoors!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We love spending the early mornings catching the sunrise, as each day offers a different scene. During the day, we enjoy taking our jet ski out on the big lake, but also cruise through the Au Sable river just up the beach or simply sunbathing while watching the kids on the sandbar 100 yards outland. During the nights, we often play card games or sit by the firepit with a gentle breeze..... oh and I almost forgot about the tiki bar to enjoy conversation :)
