Beautiful home with unbeatable location! House is lake front and surrounded by sandy beach. Walk out the door and right to the water. On the road side is a very private and serene terraced gardens. Irondequoit bay and a public boat launch is right across the street. The bay is perfect for boating skiing, kayaking/canoeing fishing, etc. Seabreeze amusement park is right down the street. There are four bedrooms and two full baths, with a day bed in the common space downstairs! House has beach chairs and beach toys provided, as well as all linens included! Fire pit on beach side for renter use, but renter must provide wood.

Location, Location, Location

We had such a great time at this perfect beach get away. Allison was very communicative and made sure we had everything that we needed. Walking along the shore in the early morning looking for beach glass with my grandkids was my highlight - we had the whole beach to ourselves much of the time. The boat launch right across the street made it easy to our boat in. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect place for us

We absolutely loved our stay. The house was perfect. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. I’m originally from Rochester and went back to visit my parents and other family. We had 6 adults and a 15 month old. The space was just right. We hosted a Mother’s Day event with plenty of room. I would recommend and come back in a heartbeat.

Family Vacation

The home was beautiful and the master bedroom looked out over the water. The kitchen, dining and living room are nice and open for family fun. I wish there was a loveseat for additional seating. The current sofa could only accommodate two people, relaxing. The beach was the best part. We had the most wonderful weather anyone could ask for the middle of September. There were a few snafu the awning over the deck didn’t work, and I wish there was an umbrella placed in the table to accommodate before we got there and didn’t have to ask for one also, there’s so much debris in the sand in front of the house. It would’ve been nice to have a rake to clean out the debris. This was a special vacation and we brought top cuts of meat to grill. Unfortunately, the grill is on its last leg and the heat was not even which made cooking too perfect temperatures possible impossible. Dishwasher and garbage disposal had some challenges, their cleaning service needs to do a better job, inspecting the dishes before new guest arrive. All of this is minor and will not dissuade us from coming back. I would’ve given five stars if attention was taken prior to us arriving. Alison was was very responsive and allowed us to extend out checkout time to later in the day which was helpful.

Paradise!!!

What an amazing property!! We have a big family and found it hard to find the right place to accommodate us. This property did house us and more!!! The private beach was perfect. House is clean and open. Plenty of space. I can’t say enough about this property. My last thought leaving was wondering is this place is for sale lol.

Perfect in every way

No notes— we were lucky enough to spend a weekend with our toes in the surf in one of the nicest places in Rochester. Everything about this home exceeded expectations, and it was the crown jewel of our entire wedding operation. Thanks one final time to our hosts!

Rochester Eclipse Family Jamboree

We booked this stay a year in advance of the Total Eclipse. We had 10 family members from 13 - 70+. (We have 2 cousins at RIT at the same time.) Even though it was overcast, this was in the perfect location. The house had plenty of space, inside and out.

Just what we were looking for

In town for a family event. Easy access to Rochester. Owner was very responsive. As it was off-season, the area was so quiet with just the sounds of the lake and shore birds! Just what we needed.

Clean, beautiful beach front, great location

Stayed with my family, place was clean, big, lots of rooms and beds for all to have there own space. Beautiful back yard that leads to the beach, clean sand and water. Tons of supplied chairs on the sand to relax. Location is great within walking distance to sea breeze, local restaurants and icecream. Owner was quick to respond with any questions. Would recommend and would stay again.

Amazing getaway!

We had a wonderful stay. Beautiful house with a beautiful view. Beds were comfortable. I would definitely recommend this house. The steps were a bit much with all I over packed but not horrible. Felt like nothing was more then 15-20 minutes away. Absolutely loved our trip.

Thanksgiving travel

Gathering family members from multiple states for Thanksgiving. House was very well appointed. Location was beautiful on Lake Ontario. Great open spaces for visiting with family and friends. For those with physical limitations the 25 or so steps getting into the house could be challenging! Would stay again.

Autumn getaway

Allison was an amazing host. If we had any questions she got right back to us. The home is cozy and clean. Fabulous views of the lake. Step out onto the deck and the beach is right there. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Beach toys for children. The kitchen had everything you could want to prepare meals. There is a nice fireplace for cool weather and a fire pit on the beach. We saw beautiful sunsets almost every night. There is an amusement park and play ground right across the street along with two restaurants. We would definitely stay there again.

Amazing Sea Breeze!

We had the best time staying on this property. It was very clean, indoors and out. The view and beach was stunning. The beds and furniture was comfortable and plentiful. The kitchen was gorgeous and had everything we needed to prepare meals and snacks. Technology and TV was excellent. The host was very accessible and on top of things. We will be back for sure!!!

Wonderful lake house and excellent location

I really enjoyed our week-long stay at this house. We had three families stay in the house (six adults and three kids). The house is a nice size, the bedrooms and two full baths are large. There is a large back deck with a retractable awning (this was amazing). The house comes with Adirondack chairs and beach chairs so leave yours at home. It also has board games, beach toys and a hammock. The beach is very nice and the views are fantastic. The location is one of the best parts. You are literally across the street from two restaurants/ice cream shops, a brand new playground, and a small amusement park. You are very close to other activities, grocery stores, etc. A marina is located close by if you want to charter a fishing boat. We had five cars and had no issue with parking. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could need to prepare food/drinks. There are also plenty of indoor and outdoor towels. There wasn’t a table big enough (inside or out) to accommodate our group so we brought a folding table and chairs (though we did find a small folding table in the first floor closet). If you have small children bring a baby gate for the stairs going down to the basement as there is no door. As others have noted it’s not the cleanest rental we have stayed in. It didn’t dampen our experience but something to note. Also, the main bedroom has a skylight in the celing with no way to cover it so be prepared for early wake-up calls from the sun. We would absolutely recommend this house and would return again!

Sea Breeze House

We enjoyed our stay very much. Quiet neighborhood, restaurants were within walking distance. Sunsets were very nice from the back porch area and enjoyed the beach right in backyard. Would stay again.

Great beach retreat

The beach house was in a great, convenient location. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked. Local cuisine was across the street. Our favorite place to hang out was on the back deck where we could watch the kids playing in the sand. We would definitely stay here again when we visit Rochester.

Great stay

We booked this property very last minute due to a family emergency. Our request to rent was quickly responded to and we were able to go right there. The property is beautiful and it afforded our whole family to be together at a difficult time.

Weekend

House had a terrible smell when we got there, we had to go get a few candles and keep the windows open to help get rid of it. Not sure why there is a cleaning charge the living room and hallway was filled with spider webs. Cups plates and silverware had to be washed before we could to use them to get an order off of them. Ash and burnt wood from the unmaintained fire pit was all over the Sand, which I had to rake up. Location was great. Plenty of restaurants and things to do close by. Clean that house up and get rid of the smell and you got a 9 or 10
