Summary:
Located within the historic Northwood neighborhood is this stunning 1920’s Spanish style villa that offers the perfect blend of heritage features with new, modern design.
The private pool villa features bright, generous rooms with open concept living, a chic kitchenette, a Casper King mattress, sleeper sofa and access to a shared tropical landscaped yard with a heated pool and luxe sun lounges.
Walk just 10 mins to restaurants, cafes or drive into the heart of West Palm Beach and Clematis St just 8 minutes away.
The Space:
Step inside this spacious, historic home and be taken with its gorgeous heritage features, its original hardwood floors and gorgeous Spanish architecture coupled with new contemporary design and everything you could need for a relaxing stay.
Guest Access:
Guests have private access to the entire pool villa and share access to the private resort-style yard with its lush gardens, courtyards and heated pool. Guests also get free fast Wi-Fi, complimentary coffee/tea, bathroom amenities and access to streaming apps on the smart TVs.
The Neighborhood:
Located along Florida’s stunning Atlantic coast, West Palm Beach offers guests year-round sunshine within easy reach of white powdery beaches and some of the most enticing waterways.
The home is located in one of the most historic neighborhoods in West Palm Beach, Old Northwood, giving you a great central base only a short drive from the Palm Beach Island beaches and some of the best shopping in the area.
Pack the golf clubs and enjoy the many courses surrounding the home including Bear Lakes, Emerald Dunes, Palm Beach and the Lone Pine Golf club just to name a few.
If you love nature take a drive to the Grassy Waters Preserve where you can kayak through the wetlands then make your way to the Manatee Lagoon or the popular Lion Country Safari for a fun family day out.
Clematis Street is the historical heart of Downtown West Palm Beach and is only 7 minutes from your door. Starting at Flagler Drive on the Intracoastal Waterway, walk west to experience the indigenous flavor of the area's colorful boutiques, nightclubs, live music, restaurants and historical landmarks.
Thursday nights come alive from 6 to 9 p.m., when the popular Clematis by Night features live music by the area’s best bands, food and drink specials, and an unmatched social scene.
If you like great deals while shopping, the Palm Beach Outlets is the place to go with high-end retail at clearance prices, perfect for the shopaholic.
Art aficionados can visit the many museums where you can view extensive collections of American, Chinese, contemporary and European pieces at the Norton Museum of Art. Walk through the jungle-like Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens or take in a show at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts.

Getting Around:
If you arrive by car, there is ample free on street parking with no time limits or street sweeping. Unfortunately we use our garage for storage and are unable to accommodate a car in there. If driving is something you would like to avoid during your stay, there are many convenient, easily accessible transportation options close to our home:

Our villa is located only 8 min from the Brightline station which provides affordable and fast connection to Ft. Lauderdale and Miami.
Other Things to Note:
★ SHARED SPACE ★
You are renting a 1 bedroom / 1 bathroom unit that is part of a larger estate (3 separate units). You have your own private entrance and unit, but the common spaces (patio, grill, pool, etc) are shared amongst all guests. We ask that you are respectful of other guests staying at the property. Please respect quiet hours around the pool from 9pm - 8am.
★ OLD NORTHWOOD NEIGHBORHOOD ★
Our villa is located in Old Northwood which is home to 320 historic homes. The Old Northwood neighborhood has added security measures which features cameras on nearly every corner and licenses plate readers at entrances to the neighborhood. We've never had any safety issues at our property but the neighborhood ~15 blocks / ~1 mile north (towards Riviera Beach) is still changing and a bit rougher.
★ OLD HOUSE ★
The home was built in 1928 (almost 100 years old!). Since this is historic home and it definitely has some charm. Many of the features are original to the home (pocket doors, hardwood floors, etc.) The home was recently renovated but you'll still hear some creaks, see some scuff marks or occasionally get a historic house smell. None of these should materially impact your stay, but we want to make sure you're aware.
★ NEIGHBORING PROPERTY★
The property next to us is a small multifamily property that is currently undergoing renovation. Most of the loud noise is behind us (exterior/structural items) you might occasionally hear some noise from time to time. Unfortunately the contractors tend to litter in the alleyway next to the property. We do our best to keep it clean.
★ BBQ GAS GRILL★
The property has a gas grill for guest use. Grill will be used at your own risk and you must assume liability. The grill must be cleaned after every use and before check out. Propane tank must be turned off after use. Guests be charged an additional cleanup fee if the grill is not cleaned. We can't guarantee the fullness of the propane tank. If you need to replace it, please send us a copy of your receipt and we're happy to reimburse you.
★ POOL ★
The unit opens up directly to the patio pool deck. Pool will be used at your own risk and you must assume liability. No diving is allowed and no life guards are present. There is not a child safety gate or net around the pool- children are to be supervised at all times and not left unattended in the backyard.
★ COVID-19 SANITIZATION ★
Heath, safety, and well-being of our guests are of utmost importance. For this reason, we use a thorough cleaning process after each check-out.
★ NO SMOKING ★
Please refrain from smoking inside the home or courtyard/pool area! Any smoking evidence will result in a fee for odor removal, duct cleaning, and furniture cleaning.
★ NO PARTIES/EVENTS ★
We kindly ask you to treat our home as your own to preserve its pristine condition for future guests and your return visits.
★ PHOTOSHOOTS ★
We are a photo friendly property. If you're interested in reserving the property for photoshoots, please send us a message!

We strive to make sure your time at the house is relaxing and enjoyable and are always available during your stay if there are any questions or for any recommendations on what to do and see in the area.
Unfortunately we are located in Portland, OR so I won't be available onsite but we have a local team of cleaners and handymen should something arise.
