Woodlands Hideaway Cozy Retreat

Looking for a relaxing getaway? The Woodlands Hideaway is it! This cozy 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo is in the heart the Laurel Highlands and nestled on the property of Nemacolin Woodlands. Come hike, bike and enjoy the outdoors or curl up and get cozy!
Enjoy the many sights that Pennsylvania has to offer by visiting Ohiopyle, Falingwater and the Laurel Caverns. Go fishing, kayaking or even paddle boarding at the Youghioghaney Lake. Deep Creek, MD is about 45 mins away for a day trip! The space
The space: In the condo there is a sleeper-sofa to accommodate 2 more guests. Kitchenette is stocked for some light cooking. Pets are NOT permitted in this unit.

Check-in is via coded keypad. Please note, we cannot guarantee any late checkouts or early check-ins. You are welcome to check the day before your arrival to see if an early check-in might be available.

Guests can enjoy the private condo as well as the private condo association pool. The entrance is located on the other side of the parking lot and is a paved road to walk or drive back to. There are pool towels in the bathroom for guests to use. The pool is typically open May-September (weather permitting).
Guest access
There are 2 parking spots per unit. If you are bringing more vehicles please contact the host ahead of time. This is a very quiet community perfect for a morning walk or enjoy a cup of coffee on the back deck and listen to the water in the stream. If you would need to dispose of trash before check out, there are small green garbage huts in the parking lots.
Other things to note
This property is located on the grounds of Nemacolin Woodlands but we are NOT associated with the resort. Please note, the resort is closed to the public. Please contact the resort for details on possible activities open to the public. You will have access to our condo association pool - (this is open to all condos in the Laurel Pond and Maple complex) - as well as numerous walking trails.

We had a wonderful stay in a great condo! We were at Nemacolin to watch my daughter’s golf tournament and this was the perfect location and well appointed condo! The condo had everything we needed!!! Highly recommend!!

Sweet little condo perfect for a weekend stay. Location on nemacolin properties are fantastic and we were able to walk up and enjoy miniature golf and the pool was beautiful. Clean, well equipped, and peaceful. We will be back!

Great little place!

My husband and I stayed for a weekend along with another couple as a "Parents Getaway Trip". The place was very clean and cute! Everything you need is supplied by the hostess and she was GREAT with communication. The pool was absolutely incredible, cleanest pool we all ever seen. The location of the condo was quiet, beautiful and very close to tons of things to do! The pullout sofa mattress was so incredibly comfortable too! Would definitely recommend!

Nice little townhouse!

Nice quiet neighborhood. Plenty of towels and hot water, the bed was very comfortable. No complaints at all! We did get a pizza and cinnamon roll from Mountain Pies, will not go there again.

Perfection

Clean, warm, inviting and great location. This may have been my favorite rental of all time. I'm 71 so that says a lot. Hope to visit again in the future. If you have the opportunity to stay here, DO NOT hesitate. It is worth every penny!!!!

Perfect place for quick weekend gateway.

We enjoyed staying here and Alyssa was really helpful and her communication was clear on checkin process. I messed up the door code but she fixed it immediately and I am thankful for that.If you are looking for place to enjoy in a nuture then this is the place. This place does not offer full kitchen so all day cooking might not be great but who cooks all day when you are in the nature :)

We stayed for over a week. The place had so many small details taken care of… toiletries, snacks, waters, extras blankets, laundry detergent. This made everything so easy and felt like home! We also got very lucky with a beautiful view of the blanketing of snow in the woods! Thank you so much.

Great Place To Stay

We could not ask for more. We came there to bike along the river. The condo was not far from where we were biking. When we were not biking, we were at the condo. Even the TV was a good experience. Netflix, Prime and it was very easy to used unlike other places.

Fallingwater HQ

Chose this condo for proximity to Fallingwater and it didn't disappoint! Alyssa, our host, was on top of the reservation and the condo had everything we needed. The property grounds are wonderful; we do wish we could have used the restaurants and services at Nemacolin, but that is no fault of the condo. Would definitely stay again!

Nemacolin Golf Trip

My son and I stayed here for a golf tournament he played in at Mystic Rock. This place was perfect for us! A short 5 minute drive to the golf course, comfy bed and sleeper sofa to sleep, and very clean. It had everything we needed and was decorated so nice. We would recommend this hidden gem!
