This 3,000 sf single level home is close to the most beautiful and pristine beaches on Hilton Head Island! In less than 10 minutes by foot and 5 minutes by bike, you will have your toes in the sand! Centrally located in Sea Pines within the charming Baynard Cove/Heritage Pond neighborhood, you will be less than 2 miles by bike or car to the South Beach Marina (home of the famous Salty Dog Café), Harbour Town or the Sea Pines Beach Club. Salty by Nature is only a few steps away from access to the Sea Pines bike trail system – one of the most popular features of the Sea Pines community!
The backyard is truly an oasis nestled within the privacy of a lush forest landscape. Relax under a canopy of majestic live oak trees draped in Spanish moss while listening to the sounds of frogs and native birds in nearby Heritage Pond. With over 3,000 square feet of living space, this home offers 3 full sized bed rooms, three full baths and 2 large family rooms. The largest family room has a wet bar and two sets of modern style folding barn doors. These stylish doors allow for privacy as well as the use of this room as a 4th sleeping area. Skylights and large windows bathe the house in natural light during the day and allow visitors to enjoy nature from the comfort of the home.
The single level floor plan allows for easy and convenient flow between each and every room. Guests will enjoy the benefits of togetherness without sacrificing privacy or quiet time. Our well-stocked and updated kitchen features a brand-new double convection oven, quality appliances, ample dishes, cutlery, cookware and utensils. Impress your family and friends with your grilling skills out by the pool on our 5-burner gas grill with attached side burner. Your family’s dining options will include (1) our 6-seat dining room table that is located adjacent to the kitchen, (2) a picnic table with long bench and 4 chairs located on the outdoor patio overlooking the pool or (3) our small and intimate 3 seat patio area that is located right through the patio doors off the side of the dining room. We even have a small folding picnic table that is perfect for small ones to gather around!
The dining room opens into the second living room which features a 55" Samsung with Roku 4K Smart HDTV and a DVD player - perfect for binge watching your favorite shows or hosting family movie night!
Adults visiting Salty by Nature will appreciate the two large master bedrooms – each having a king size bed, large walk-in closets and spectacular views of the pool. Our bunk room has two sets of bunk beds with each bed having a comfortable full-size mattress. Each bedroom has an HD TV with streaming capabilities and the house is equipped with secured high speed wireless internet service throughout. Looking for outdoor sports and recreation? Sea Pines is a golf or tennis enthusiast's paradise! You're less than 2 miles away from Heron Point by Pete Dye course, the Atlantic Dunes by Davis Love III course (formerly the Ocean Course) and the world-famous Harbour Town Golf Links, home of The RBC Heritage Golf Tournament. Looking for convenience during Heritage week? We are within a ½ mile walking distance to holes 12-15!
Ready to hit the beach? Salty by Nature has you covered. The house comes equipped with 4 adult beach chairs and a hand wagon for pulling beach gear. We also have a collection of beach toys for little ones! Guests will enjoy storing beach gear in the garage and spraying the sand off those toes using our convenient and unique foot shower station located by the front entrance sidewalk. From Salty by Nature, you will take a quick left down Deer Run Ln and then a quick right turn on to the bike path. Follow the path sign left toward South Beach and past Heritage Pond to beach path 24 (see map below).

Do you offer Traveler's Insurance? Yes, an option to purchase Traveler's Insurance will be presented to Guest at time of check-out. If the option does not auto-generate at the time of check-out, and you're interested in purchasing, please let us know and we'll be happy to send you the Traveler's Insurance information.
How do I pick up a key? Our home is equipped with an electronic 'keyless' entry system that is programmed with a code of your choice. Guests do not have to worry about getting locked out or losing a key.
Does your pool get any direct sunlight? Unlike most backyard pools in Sea Pines, our pool patio gets an ample amount of direct sun light from late-morning to late afternoon. This allows for an enjoyable mix of sun and shade at any given point in the day. During the warmest summer months, the pool temperature can range between 85 - 92 degrees. Many of our guests have found the pool patio to be one of the highlights of their vacation!
What if there is an issue with the home during our stay? The home is professionally managed by an on-island company with a select number of properties. All efforts will be made to ensure that any issue will be quickly addressed with minimal disruption to your vacation.
How close are you to the nearest beach access? Under 5 minutes by bike, or an enjoyable 5 -10-minute stroll. See the map below.
Are you close to Harbour Town and South Beach? Yes, and you can easily bike or drive to both in under 2 miles.
What size is your house? Our single level home is over 3,000 square feet.
Is this home for sale and could we have our vacation interrupted by an agent wanting to show the house? No, this home is not for sale. We do caution prospective guests that are looking at other properties to first check with the owner or manager to ensure that the property they are considering is not listed for sale or available to a third party for a real estate showing during their vacation.
Do you offer discounts? If your arrival date is less than 30 days away and if our home is available, we will certainly work with you.
What is your cancellation policy? Guest will receive 100% refund if cancellation request is received more than 90 days prior to arrival date. If cancellation is requested 90 days or less prior to arrival date, no refund will be considered. We strongly encourage Guests to purchase Traveler's Insurance, including Cancel For Any Reason Insurance.
Where can we rent bikes and how much does it cost? There are many bike rental companies on the island.
