Find yourself nestled amongst the pine trees in our modern rustic artist retreat in one of Southern California's best kept secrets. We are proud to welcome you to The Wile and Whimsical cabins. Our combined six-bedroom cabins have been recently and lovingly restored by the homeowner to provide you with this charming mountain getaway.

Encapsulated in cedar paneling, relax and enjoy the company of loved ones in the cozy open concept living spaces. Nuzzle up on a brisk mountain night on our new modern furnishings as the wood burning fireplace crackles away. The fully stocked kitchens will provide you with all your cooking needs. The Wile / Whimsical offers 3 beautiful principle bedrooms with attached en-suite bathrooms. The additional kids room features twin bunk beds.

The Wile / Whimsical features great outdoor spaces to enjoy the mountain air. Step out the front patio to enjoy that perfect morning coffee. Walk around to the expansive private backyard that is perfect for enjoying your family evenings around the outdoor firepit.

Pet Policy
The Whimsical Cabin is dog friendly for 1 dog up-to 50lbs. We ask guests to pay an additional $35/dog/night and a $500 refundable pet damage deposit. Dogs must be crate trained for when the owner is away from the property. Guests must sign the dog waiver included in our rental agreement. Guests must notify Altez Vacations prior to their arrival if they are bringing a dog.

The Location
The cabin is located just three miles from downtown Idyllwild-Pine Cove, 2 miles to the Idyllwild Nature Center, and a scenic nine miles to the Mt. San Jacinto State Park. The downtown area provides great eateries and entertainment including local shops, wineries, and the newly renovated Rustic Theater. There is an abundance of gorgeous hiking trails perfect for either a quick stroll and a picnic, or more strenuous hikes to epic vistas overlooking the surrounding San Jacinto Mountains. For day trippers looking to explore local Southern California the property is located only about an hour from Palm Springs and about two hours from the world-renowned Joshua Tree State Park.

The Neighborhood
The Whimsical Cabin is located in a small residential neighborhood with close by neighbors. Due to the terrain of the neighborhood sound is easily carried. . We ask that all guests please be respectful of our neighbors. Quiet time for the property is from 10PM - 8:00AM. Parties or loud activity past 10PM will not be tolerated and will be subject to $250 noise violation plus additional fines issues by Riverside County.

**Due to the mountainous terrain of the cabin, SoCal Edison frequently has Maintenance Power Outages during periods of expected high wind or other periods of high fire risk weather. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause**

Cancellation Policy
Bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of the stay will receive a 93% refund. Bookings canceled at least 14 days before the start of the stay will receive a 43% refund. Bookings canceled within the 14-day window are non-refundable.

Reservations of 15 nights or more may be canceled at least 90 days before the start of the stay will receive a 93% refund. Cancellations within 45 days of the check-in date and are refundable up to 43%.

Should a refund be issued, a credit to the original credit card in the amount of the reservation minus the cost of the cancellation fees will be issued within 5 to 7 business days.

**Minimum Age 25: All Reservations must be booked by and accompanied by an adult who is 25 years of age or older. Valid photo I.D. may be required at time of booking.
