LEAVE THE CLEANING TO US! Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space in the center of Kentucky’s Bourbon Country. Enjoy wildlife and nature in one of our 5 two bedroom cottages. Each sits on two acres. Perfect retreat for couples traveling together or individuals looking for privacy and quiet. We’re located directly between 4 of the biggest bourbon distilleries on the trail and 20 minutes from anything you’d like to see and do!
**There will be a $500 fee for smoking inside the cottage**

Each cottage has it`s own hot tub and fire pit.
We offer customized tours to distilleries, breweries, wineries or a combination of all! You can create your bourbon country experience. Let us know if you`re interested in booking a tour during your stay.

Bourbon Barrel Cottages is an 11 acre gorgeous hillside in the heart of Bourbon country. Custom built with all the amenities of home plus some, each cottage is nestled on it`s own two acre setting.

Parking areas are available at each cottage. Clifton is a country road with beautiful views. We offer customized tours to distilleries, breweries, wineries or a combination of all! You can create your bourbon country experience. Let us know if you`re interested in booking a tour during your stay.

Adorable cottage with lovely hosts!

We loved our stay at this cute cottage community! Great hosts and near distilleries and wineries. Enjoyed the firepit and our dog loved walking in the grass. Also enjoyed the Bourbon Country Welcome center! Great food!

50th Birthday Trip

Even better than advertised. Conveniently located to Bourbon Trail. The area is nice, quiet, and relaxing. We loved the attention to details in the cabin. Had everything we needed and more. Was even decorated for Christmas 🎄 We enjoyed roaming around the property with our dog. Definitely our new go to place for the Frankfort area.

Weekend Getaway

We came to town to visit a few local distilleries. We chose the perfect place to stay! The cottages had everything and more that was needed to make our stay comfortable. We were able to cook our own dinner each night after a long day of touring. We chose to grill and sit out by the fire pit to enjoy the quiet, peaceful surroundings. The hosts go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable!

Heaven in the Hills

From the beautiful sign outside the gate to the special touches inside and out, this property exceeded our expectations. I only wish we had more than two days to enjoy morning coffee and stunning sunsets on the porch and relaxing hot tub time. We didn't use the fire pit but appreciate that it was available. Enthusiastically recommend and would love to return with family.

Wife’s 50th

We all flew out to Kentucky for the Derby to celebrate my wife’s birthday; came across these cabins. They are everything advertised and so much more. Clean, roomy two bedroom set in absolutely stunning surroundings.. we still have more of the bourbon trail to complete, this is definitely on the list of places to stay.

Cute cozy bourbon barrel cottage

What a great am way to end our stay in Kentucky at this beautiful bourbon barrel cozy cottage. We loved it! Our only complaint was that the wood was wet, so it was hard to make a fire in the fire pit. Otherwise, the cottage had all the modern amenities we needed but still had the feel of a cozy cottage. We can’t wait to come back!

Excellent experience without connection

The stay was great! We loved it! The hot tub, fire pit, and hiking trails were great amenities. We also used the grill and kitchen for one meal, and they connected us with Blue Hen Chefs for another. It was close to the distilleries and a winery that we visited. The only bad point, if there was one, was the connections. Neither phone, texting, or Internet wi-fi were very good. That makes it hard to use Google Maps, text them when there are issues, and maintain connections with home. Overall it was an excellent weekend!

Each cottage has a 2 acre lot with it's own hot tub and fire pit. Rolling countryside, beautiful scenery and wildlife abound. There is a natural spring on the property and plenty of places to walk/explore.
