This unit is wonderful! It was perfect for our family. A huge plus is the comfortable balcony furniture! The only negative we had was the thermometer on the grill was broken and the master shower door did not close all the way. However, to us these were minor issues and we still rate this unit 5 stars!

This unit was lovely! With beautiful and comfortable decor and fully stocked kitchen we only left to eat out once! Exceptional was the choice of gracious outdoor furniture on the balcony, so much nicer than average. Thank you for a wonderful trip!!

Very nice property. It was well furnished and we enjoyed the stay. We would rent this again, though cleaning and owner fees were exorbitant. Unfortunately the wet bar icemaker also never worked. We were very disappointed to have an elevator out if service for the entire 4 day weekend. That should have been a priority for Turquoise and management.

This unit had so much potential but sadly fell well short of it… The unit was not clean or well maintained. It is showing wear and tear throughout. The tile floors are cracking and separating from the slab beneath, the cabinets are beat up, the master shower was covered in mildew and a DIY caulk job. The cushions on the rear porch were faded and mildewed. The grill and the area around it was gross. The bed in the master bedroom was awful. The hot tub was full of sand and would not stay above 85deg (yes we kept it covered when not in use…). We had maintenance come check on it twice and they ended up draining and refilling. We were without the hot tub for 4 of the 6 nights we were there. The dryer was not working and required two separate visits from repairmen to get it functioning. There were only enough towels for 10 people (the total amount of people the unit will sleep) but with no dryer that quickly became an issue. On Monday of our stay we had pest control barge in to treat the unit before 9am, we had the hot tub people in there, two separate appliance repair people. The property overall was equally disappointing. It’s clear that maintenance is just not a priority. Doors were broken, tiles broken and missing, furniture broken, carpets were dirty, there was trash in and around the pools. The beach was the only saving grace for this place. Love OBA but will def stay elsewhere next time!

We understand your concerns regarding the cleanliness, overall condition of the condo, and the service interruptions during your stay. Your feedback regarding housekeeping and the condition of the condo has been shared with our Property Care team and the owner for review and addressing. The hot tubs at Turquoise Place are maintained by the resort, and we’re sorry this one was not up and running properly during your stay. Several of the concerns mentioned regarding the overall resort, common areas, pools, doors, carpet, and exterior maintenance are also managed by the HOA/resort association rather than Beach Getaways directly. That said, we understand how those items impact the guest experience, and we will be sharing this feedback with the appropriate resort contacts as well. We’re glad you were still able to enjoy the beautiful Orange Beach shoreline, and we appreciate your honest feedback. We would welcome the chance to host you again in the future, perhaps at a different resort that may be a better fit for the stay you’re looking for.

Nice location, but look for another condo!

Upon arriving we thought the condo had a stale odor. We thought maybe it was closed up for a while without ventilation. The next day, we thought it was the front loading washing machine. Upon further inspection and a call to maintenance, it appeared that perhaps this condo had water damage. They came and took pictures, but didn’t address the situation. We were with a group of friends who all had their own condos and ours was by far the worst. Living room furniture was worn and dirty, patio furniture was worn and rusty, master bedroom carpet was disgusting with stains. There were lightbulbs out in the half bath, and queen front bedroom. We couldn’t get the lights to turn on all week. Another call to maintenance would’ve helped, but I don’t feel comfortable with maintenance people in and out. In addition, being right on the beach brings in a lot of sand. There wasn’t a broom to do a quick sweep of the floors, only a loud vacuum. Keep looking… Our friends had beautiful condos at Turquoise Place, clean, nicely decorated with updated flooring etc… Turquoise place itself is undergoing a lot of upgrades as well. Building c pool was drained, building d pool under tile construction, no balcony hot tubs (which we were compensated for,) gym equipment removed, all during our stay.

Holly, thank you for the review. We are sorry you encountered some issues on site during your stay. We shared your feedback about the furniture and carpet to the Property Manager as she will inspect and schedule any professional cleans necessary. Our maintenance team has replaced the lights in the condo as well, though if you had called, out team would fix this issue and promptly leave the condo when done. While the Turquoise HOA is replacing the private hot tubs, we were excited to let you know during your stay that the public hot tubs on property had reopened! We are ecstatic to let future guests know the private hot tub has been fully replaced and is in working order! We wish you would have called about the broom as one of our inspectors could've dropped one by the condo, as we supplied this condo with a broom after your checkout! The water damage reported was checked out by our Maintenance Team and the building facilities in case of a building issue. Both parties came to the conclusion that the liner was outside of the bathtub when taking a shower, creating a large puddle in the floor and on the carpet. We promptly placed a fan in the condo to help dry up the water from the bathroom! We appreciate you calling us as this is the best way to maintain the quality of our condos!
