"A Smoky Mountain Lake Cabin" Is the perfect Smoky Mountain getaway with Community access to Douglas Lake, a community pool just 1 minute from the cabin. With paved roads all the way to the cabin this cabin is considered motorcycle (at the riders' discretion) friendly. The parking is off the street and is gravel with enough room for one vehicle. For additional cars, please feel free to park at the resort pool area where you can cool off during the hot summer days.

Sleeping up to 5 people in this beautifully decorated cabin with both master bedrooms on the main floor one being a King bedroom with a flat screen tv, connected to a Jack-n-Jill Bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second being a Queen-sized bedroom with a private bathroom and the washer and dryer tucked away in a closet for your convenience.
The spacious open concept living area consists of the living room with an extra comfy sectional sofa to curl up on while enjoying the wood burning Fireplace or the Flat screen tv. The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for gathering the family at the dining bar while preparing all your meals. The gas grill is just out the side door for all your grilling needs.

Head up to the loft and you'll find a foosball table, a stand-up multi-arcade game, flat screen tv and a convertible couch that will provide extra sleeping space for 1. Plus, a deck just off the side of the room to grab a quick breath of that fresh mountain air.

After a day out on the lake, relax on the wrap-around deck with rocking chairs or the swing, Maybe take on a game of cornhole before taking a relaxing dip in the Hot Tub.
If you're looking for a cabin perfectly situated away from all the hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg but still close enough to enjoy all the attractions and the Great Smoky Mountains, plus have access to Douglas Lake and all the community amenities, then this cabin is perfect for you! The stay at this location was nice. It was a little far away from attractions and restaurants but it was nice to get away from all the noice and traffic. The house itself was clean though a little dusting would have been great. Overall it was an enjoyable trip and I would stay here again!

Beautiful cabin.fire wood would have been great to have along with an outside trash bin. Besides that it was a great stay.

Nice little cabin

The cabin itself is well maintained and clean. The kids had a great time with the loft game room and the location is good as well. No exterior trash bin on site, and the connection between the road and the parking area could use some work. Overall it was a great experience and we would stay again.

Super Relaxing and Cozy

This cabin was absolutely wonderful and in a great location. The hot tub looked a little gross though; the water was cloudy and there was something growing on the lid. Other than that, everything was perfect!

Lake Cabin

The cabin was nice but from the description we thought it was way closer to the lake than it was. We still had a good time but had been looking forward to enjoying the lake.

Getaway weekend

Very clean and spacious.provided the basic essentials. Hangers in the closet would be nice, since one room doesnt have bureau. Happy I carry my trustee steamer with me everywhere, no iron provided. Our overall stay was amazing. Located 15 to 20 minutes from the main strip, far enough to enjoy the quietness of vaction. We are already talking about our return trip.

Super clean and comfortable

We were impressed on cleanliness. My family enjoyed the cabin very much and privacy. May want to add more gravel to driveway, somewhat of a dip that I was scared it would take out the camera under my front bumper. Water is down this time of year but kids still went fishing and had fun.

All the Comforts of Home

The cabin was well equipped with all the comforts of home. The shower in the Jack and Jill bathroom was awesome. However, the parking pad needs more gravel and more space to accommodate full size vehicles. The lake wasn't as close as we had hoped it would have been. All in all, it was a great stay.

Comforting

This property left us in awe from the minute we drove up to the moment we left. We hav3 a special needs boy who was in heaven. The game room space was a joy for him to watch TV and play. The beds were a great escape after a long day. The hot tub was a resort in its own. It was clean and amazing. We would recommend this property to anyone

Beautiful Cabin!

Really lovedto the porch and hot tub! The resort property was lovely, but not that much to do unfortunately. The picture doesn't depict the view very well; cabin backs up to woods which was private. The kitchen & supplies were great. Lacking in lighting & dresser in the master bedroom. We were so busy doing things and going places we didn't get to enjoy the cabin as much as we would have liked. Sad there were no board games. Overall great cabin for the week.

Bear camping

It was a nice over all stay, there were a few little amenities that needed to be addressed. The fans in the living room and master king room didn’t work. The light in the washer was not working. We needed a few more towels..the tv up stairs didn’t work for us. the place was clean and had a great little getaway from the hustle and bustle of pigeon Forge. Love walking the neighborhood. And enjoying alittle bit of fishing off the dock.

Actual property

Cabin had not been cleaned properly. Lots of dirt behind things that wasn't swept up, dishes and cookware had dried food particles and had to be hand washed before using. TV in living room has dark line across the picture and it kept freezing up. Pool is not walking distance as shown in listing. Fishing is not walking distance as shown in listing. Foode ball game in game room broken. Arcade game had several different versions of the same game. Queen bathroom sink slow to drain. Bathtub had hair allinit. Sofa bottoms out when you suto on it. It's worn out and needs replacing. Cabin needs updating and they need better cleaning crew. Won't stay here again.

Really enjoyed our time, few minor complaints

I want to start this review with a disclaimer, we really really enjoyed our stay! The few complaints I have are very minor, and issues that can be overlooked. Things we love: 1) super clean! 2) the free tickets were a nice perk! 3) loved access to the pool especially with a busy toddler Things that are minor complaints: 1) the driveway needs more gravel. It has a huge dip that scraped the bottom of my SUV no matter how slow or what angle we went at. It was a pain to pull in and out. When it was raining we almost got stuck. 2) the light in the den did not work. The remote to turn it on did not have batteries, and we could not find batteries. 3) the beds were really uncomfortable 4) it’s not actually on the lake like the photos suggest- the lake is by the community pool. 5) the person who runs the VRBO account did not actually try to answer my questions. Instead she just copied a pasted the same message over and over again.

Log Cabin

Well we had no idea that we were so far away from Douglas Lake and that there was no access as all property from where we were was private property. The pictures on the website looked like we were right on the lake. There were cobwebs in the large window overlooking the living room that looked awful Fan remote had a broken battery and no back The TV’s were horrible. Everytime we started watching anything the show would freeze and take forever to come back on The beds were very hard. The bathroom with the tub needed a slip resistant Matt as I almost fell multiple times. The TV upstairs had no remote. The foosball table had a handle that kept coming off as the screw was stripped. The small parking space had a huge dip and was very difficult to get out of. The bathroom in the bedroom that had the tub, the first time I flushed the toilet the lever broke and my husband had to put the chain in a different hole. The lever appeared to be rusted.
