Luxury Vacation Villa with Pool close to the beaches

LUXURY RENTAL: Fully furnished home with 3 bedrooms/2 bathrooms, huge screened lanai with private heated pool(extra charge-$ 20 per day) where you can splash after a long day. Split floor plan, huge fenced-in backyard. Just 5 min drive to Manasota Beach, South Venice Ferry, Boat Ramp, and all other attractions Great neighborhood, clean and fully equipped with everything you need for your vacation, and for the beach Boca Grande (the most beautiful sunsets) & Englewood, Venice, Manasota Beaches (a good place to find sharks teeth). Siesta Key is about 30 miles away. You will need a vehicle to go shopping which is only a few minutes away. There is a taxi service available in the area. If you choose this romantic house, you can ask us any questions because we care about your experience. I hope that you will find what you are looking for.
NOTE: Pool heating will be available during winter time ONLY (OCTOBER-MARCH) for an additional $20.00 a day. Request to add POOL HEAT should be submitted at the time of the booking, if you will request POOL HEAT after check-in, it will be a $45.00 extra charge.

We have a smart lock. The code will be provided by text/email 2 hours before arrival. Please text/email us when you checked in and check out.

Loved Venice!

We had a great stay in Venice. Super close to nature preserves and beaches. House and pool area was nice. We had great responsiveness to a WiFi problem we had and I was very impressed with that! House could have been cleaner.

Nice place for family

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The home and pool area were very clean. The master shower was amazing. The mattresses were a little firm for our taste. The only problem we had was quickly addressed and fixed. The trips to the beach were easy and took about 15 minutes. The pool area was great. The kids were thrilled there were pool floats and diving toys. I enjoyed watching the bunnies in the early morning in the backyard, it was very relaxing to wake up to.

Disappointment of Rental and Venice

Fact: Age 75 for both, Bad knees, Have rented many condos and villas prior to this trip.Good Points: Keurig worked, Weber Grill worked, but I had to buy a tank of gas.Problem areas: 1. Master Bathroom Shower floor extremely slippery, slopes to drain in middle of floor, no flat standing, and MOLDY. No bathroom safety bars. 2. Pool was nice, BUT: No pool rail to get in out of pool, it was not easy for us, used pool only a few times. 3. Furniture is outdated, not comfortable. If you have a back problem, you still will have a problem,. If you don't have a back problem, you may have when you leave. 3. The house needs a lot of maintenance work, windows difficult to open or broken, extremely dirty, fans I had to go on a 4 step stool to adjust or turn on fans, light over stove does not work, water filter on refrigerator needs to be changed.Would I rent this house again.NO. Will I come back to Venice, Florida, NO.

Disappointed

This house was not well maintained. There were lightbulbs missing in both the kitchen area and eating area, the master bathroom had a set of lights that flickered constantly. There were ants everywhere- bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen. Even the pool had ants, other bugs floating on it. We didn’t order heated pool because we thought we could go in but couldn’t because of the bugs. The furniture was inexpensive and uncomfortable and you cannot use the garage for you car. The description said “driveway parking available” but we figured that was if you had company.

Great experience, excellent location.

The photos are accurate. Overall the home is very clean and comfortable. We loved the location - close to Jacaranda and Englewood Rd, shopping, gym and restaurants only 5 minutes away. About 10 minutes to Manasota Beach, 15 minutes to Venice Ave shopping.The living areas are spacious and welcoming. The kitchen has a large island and room for two or three to work without tripping over each other. The dining area and living room are OK. There are two low sofas - comfortable for lounging. Arm chairs, end tables and lamps would be a wise investment. The TV's could use updating and we asked the manager about getting cable - it's streaming only right now. We brought our own Firestick and were able to get one live Tampa channel for local news and weather. The WiFi was pretty good with a few short Xfinity outages during our three weeks.The bedrooms are great - very comfortable mattresses. Everyone got plenty of sleep. Bathrooms are clean and functional. Master shower gets lots of mentions on the reviews. You can run both showers simultaneously with good pressure and not run out of hot water. ;-)The outdoor space is amazing - heated pool and nice patio furniture made it the place to hang out.We had a few notes for improvement that we passed on to management, nothing to scare anyone away. We would definitely stay here again. Marina was very kind and responsive - she got us a Keurig overnight (online photos showed one, but not there when we arrived)!!

Roach Infested and Dirty

Upon check-in there was minor dirt like sand and a few chip crumbs laying around the kitchen, a bit of hair in the bathroom, etc. The pool was extremely dirty (hair clumps, piles of sand, dirt floating). Lanai screen has several holes/gaps. I immediately contacted the host on the Saturday we checked in. She quickly responded saying that the pool was just cleaned Tuesday, and is cleaned mid-week, but she would see if they could come Monday. Monday/Tuesday came and went with no communication or cleaning of the pool. I messaged her at 7:30pm Tuesday to let her know the pool was still dirty. She didn’t respond until Wednesday afternoon when I inquired a 3rd time, and we also listed other issues we encountered. Her story then changed that it would be cleaned Friday, as they switched cleaning companies. We notified her about the filthy dishes/silverware in the cupboards. Food was plastered to some of the glasses, and everything had a gritty film. The dishwasher didn’t work, and made items dirtier. We had to wash every item before using. She never responded to this concern. Outdoor trash was overflowing from previous guests. The host corrected by providing a new can, and they eventually cleaned the pool themselves on Wednesday (over halfway through our trip). We mentioned the 2 roaches we encountered, and the 15+ ant/roach traps/bait. Host sprayed perimeter, and admitted to pest problem. We found 2 more roaches - so 4 total. Uncomfortable, stayed at parents house for 2 days.

Möblierung war eher dürftig (vor allem Wohnzimmer) Cage war teilweise defekt.

Mittelmässig. Wir kennen die Umgebung von Venice seit über 20 Jahren sehr gut. Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr zentral, jedoch die direkte Umgebung des Hauses ist sehr veraltet, der Garten des Hauses ungepflegt. Wir haben erst 2 Tage vor Abreise, (nach fast 6 Wochen!) Ein Gäftnerpaar gesehen, welches nach 10 Minuten Blitzsevice wieder verschwand. Schade für das schöne, grosse Grundstück!
