Our family of 13 was comfortable in this beautiful space. Kitchen was well stocked with tools. Pool and hot tub were great hang outs. Deck was perfect for morning coffee and family chats. Highly recommend The Big Dipper for your family gathering.

The house was clean, nice, comfortable, and roomy. The appliances were all modern and up to date. It was a group of 10 female friends all 50 and over, we had enough space to relax, rewind and enjoy ourselves. I like that each bedroom had its own bathroom. I had to co tact host upon arrival because the lock code wasn’t sent to me prior but she answered immediately. I didn’t need to contact her anymore during our stay. I would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Perfect place! We spent a week at the Big Dipper to celebrate a family member's birthday and the place was amazing. The house is as advertised; very spacious, clean, comfortable, with lots to do. The amenities are plentiful and the kids loved the pool and games. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay here again in the future.

Beautiful home in a great location. Great hot tub and indoor pool. The house backs up to woods where we saw some bear passing through. I would recommend staying here.

Beautiful Big Dipper

This home was perfect. Kids had a ball with indoor pool, hot tub, game room, hiking, smores, movies while adults relaxed. No reason to leave the property during our short stay!

Amazing Cousin's Trip

We had a wonderful stay at The Big Dipper! The house was clean and well stocked. The swimming pool and video games were fun. And Jill was a super host! Everything exceeded our expectations. We plan to come back with our families. Fun for all!!

Great place to stay. Never a dull moment. The kids had a great time. Did not need to bring anything. We found 3 buckets of toys/legos!! The bunks were a huge hit. The adults loved the hot tub and fire pit.

Property is all as listed and more! Beautiful! The kitchen has every appliance and utensils you’ll need! It’s very private but if you need a store, one is very close! It was spotless! Host was always available for questions. My family had a wonderful stay. I would highly recommend!

Beautiful house with lots of space

We had a great time staying at this house. I love that each room was a master suite. Each room easily fit a pack-n-play (or two). It was a pleasant surprise to have some toys available for younger kids. The host was very responsive to all communications. Thanks for a great stay!

Great getaway

We stayed for 3 nights and ran out of time to enjoy all of the amenities. Would definitely recommend. All in our group of 10 were happy. We also really liked that the rooms all had en-suites. That’s hard to find. Proximity to Wisp was great.

The place was beautiful and our family had so much fun. The host had so many extras that I've never had at other places. However, we planned to cook the whole time we were there and the stove was broken. Upon talking with the host, they knew it was broken which I found disappointing considering the cost to rent the home. There were also some dishes that needed washed before using and a potholder that was pretty disgusting. Other than that, again it was beautiful and we had a good weekend with our kids.

Our family of nine — grandmother, four adult children, and four grandchildren — had an excellent weekend at this cabin. The layout is ideal for a multi-generational group, with each bedroom having its own full bathroom, providing both comfort and privacy.The large front windows overlooking the lake were beautiful, especially with the snow, and the fireplace created a comfortable central gathering space.The swimming pool was the highlight of the weekend and was enjoyed extensively by both the adults and grandchildren. The game room with pool table and video games, along with the hot tub, added to the overall experience.The amenities were thoughtful and complete: a welcome snack basket, a fully stocked coffee bar with pods, marshmallows, and hot chocolate, and complimentary shampoos, soaps, and laundry supplies.Communication from the host was excellent. She reached out upon arrival to ensure everything was satisfactory and offered a one-hour checkout extension, which we appreciated.This is a well-equipped, well-managed property that comfortably accommodates a larger family. We would stay again and recommend it without hesitation.

Very spacious and lovely home which worked well for our three generation family of 13. Everyone loved the indoor pool and hot tub and watching wildlife (Bear and deer) from the beautiful deck.Our host Jill was very responsive and easy to work with; highly recommend!

The home was perfect for our family gathering - variety of ages. Having a private bath for each bedroom was great!! The indoor pool and outdoor hot tub were hits. The kitchen and dining area worked wonderfully for food prep and serving and dining. The outdoor space was limited for 'play' but the fire pit made up for that! We took in hikes (suggest Swallow Falls) and an afternoon at the lake. A fishing excursion with Captain Phil was the highlight of the 7 year old. He was perfect with young ones.The home was clean and comfortable. The communication with the host was exceptional - very attentive and available. Not on the lake but wasn't critical as we could travel a short distance for the lake - and the children preferred the indoor pool. Highly recommend the property and the host!!

This property was fantastic for a multi-generational vacation with 11 family members (6 adults, 5 children). The location is great in that it's close to activities, but also far enough away that there is not constant traffic on the road. With the home having 5 bedrooms (each has their own bathroom!), there was plenty of space for everyone to call their own during our stay. The big hit for the kids was the pool, arcade games, and children's toys downstairs. The adults enjoyed the fire pit, both fireplaces, and the expansive deck. The large kitchen is full of various appliances/tools made it easy to cook all our meals; the large walk in pantry was a wonderful surprise to store all of our extra groceries and keep the counters clear! Jill was a wonderful host and responded to messages before and during the trip almost immediately. We had a wonderful time, and cannot wait to visit again in the future!
