We absolutely loved this hidden gem. Tucked away with the locals, this home is cozy, private, quiet, and has every comfortable you can think of. The outdoor shower is so beautiful and clean too. Nita was so responsive and great with communication. Will definitely book this property again

Excellent stay!

Quiet area, close to beach. House is clean, nicely decorated and equipped with new and quality amenities. All that one needs for a pleasant vacation was available in the house, and even more! Host is very friendly and helpful.

Amazing get away!

Its definitely a hidden gem! We enjoyed our stay with excellent neighbors, fine ammenities with recently new appliances (the range and fridge are awesome!). The walk to the beach wasnt bad at all either. Highly recommended for a party of two!

My wife and I went here for our honeymoon. We can’t say enough great things about the property, the location, Nita. The place was extremely clean and comfortable. The check in process was seamless. We’ll be looking to come here again in the future!

Quiet little spot near the beach!

I can’t say enough about how kind, helpful and responsive the host was. And the place was perfect for just the two of us on a short stay too! We were right there nearby local shops and boutiques, restaurants and such…All in all, a very sweet find. Thank you, Nita!

Weekend getaway

My husband and I only stayed here for two nights, but wish we could have stayed longer. This is one of the best rental homes we have stayed in. This house is the perfect size and layout for a couples getaway. It is close to restaurants and shopping and just a short walk across the street from beach access. The bed was extremely comfortable and felt like you were sleeping on a cloud. Everything is exactly as pictured. Nita was a super sweet host and had thought of every little detail to make our stay extra special. We will definitely be staying here again!

Couldn't Ask For More

Nita is an OUTSTANDING host. Everything we could think of was provided in the house so we didn't need to go to the store for anything. The house is beautiful and perfect for a couple to get away for a little bit. Very clean, well stocked, and great central location to restaurants and the beach. You can really tell Nita puts a lot of love into the house and wants to make her guests feel at home. Great communication and trip to remember. Thank you for everything!

Nita is an excellent host, quick to reply to any questions. The rental was top notch. Her attention to detail is impressive. The house was very clean and welcoming. It was tastefully decorated and set up with many extras. The outside shower was a plus to wash off sand before entering the house. Also was a nice gesture after a long trip to find fresh water bottles in refrigerator. I highly recommend this property!

Perfect Home Away from Home

Everything about our stay was amazing. Location, we could walk to the beach Nita thought of everything. Check-in was a breeze. Nita communicated all the info needed early. The place was spotless, designed with comfort in mind. The kitchen was well stocked and she even had a gift basket waiting for us. The bathroom had a spa like feeling-with all sorts of goodies. The towels were luxurious. The bed had the softest sheets ever. We slept great. I wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely go back there. I highly recommend this place as a home away from home!!!

Best vacation we ever had! So good we stayed an extra night😃

The house is beautiful for two adults. The bed sleeps heavenly. We’ve been going to Avon on vacation at least once a year if not 2-5 times a year for 30+ years and it was the best stocked house we’ve ever stayed in!! Nita Wage the home owner is a sweetheart to deal with she is quick to answer any questions and to help you in anyway possible. The neighborhood is very quiet and pleasant. All in all I recommend this property for any age couple it is very cozy and comfortable! Thank You, Nita for supplying us with the best vacay ever even tho the weather wasn’t the greatest!!! We will be back😃

I grew up here on Hatteras Island and love all that it has to offer. My favorite things to do are beachcombing(I still have only found 1 shark tooth here so far!), going on walks with my dog, fishing, and enjoying the spectacular sunsets. I have extensive knowledge of the area and would be thrilled to help you navigate it.
