We loved staying at here! The neighbor is quiet and calming compared the hustle and bustle of in town. The property is a 10 minute walk to a grocery store, which was very helpful when we arrived and our car was not available. When it became apparent that Hertz was NOT going to have a car for us (even with a reservation), Roger came to the rescue and found us a car to rent on Boxing Day! So grateful! Yamacraw Beach is a 15 minute walk or 3 minute drive away. It was a great place to swim in the ocean without any crowds. We appreciated all the the off street parking that at the house, and the kind dog, Sarah that greeted us while we sat on the porch drinking coffee and reading. A very relaxing time for the holidays!

Comfy, cozy cottage

During our stay, one of the standout highlights was the genuine warmth and hospitality extended to us by the owners, Roger and Nicola. My family was able to unwind in tranquility and build memories.

Lovely spot

Lovely little place. Responsive, delightful hosts. A/c units make a lot of noise -like a plane taking off- until you find the “silence” button on the remote. Water pressure in the shower is weak but gets the job done. Mattress and pillows did not agree with me so sleep was fitful. Recommend bringing your own pillows. Bunk beds in second room very close to ceiling fan. The couch pillows are disintegrating and green stuffing leaks out the back. Sarah the dog is very friendly and appreciates pets and bowls of water. Netflix available (signed in acct) in master bedroom only. Bring your logon info for apple tv, etc. tv’s do screen mirroring for iphones well. Very nice gas stove and oven. Full sized fridge. Microwave and small coffee pot with reusable filter basket. Good closet and drawer space. Full sized washer and dryer, iron with short ironing board present. House was ready with keys present at check in. Welcome binder clearly lays out everything- very helpful. Internet worked well. Smoking allowed on the front porch though you may need mosquito spray. Roughly 35-40 min drive from airport, 15 to downtown. Car is necessary for this property.2 mins from grocery store. 5 from starbucks and fast food chains. 25 from cabbage beach. 12 from ft montagu.

Wonderful stay

Nicola and Roger were the most amazing hosts. From picking us up at the airport to our last day. We can say enough about how great they are. The pictures do not do their place its justice. Immaculate and so clean. Renting a car for $60.00 a day or having Nicola take us anywhere we needed for $60.00. We learned so much from them and became good friends. And even got us a new frying pan lol private joke for Roger. At the end it was our host that made our trip so worth going to Nassau.

Perfect Cottage!

Roger, the host was very accommodating. He recommended a car rental for us. The cottage was clean, quiet, and close to everything. We would stay here again!

Ask, and it shall be given you!

We booked for a week. The cottage was exactly what we were looking for and is exactly as described. We didn't see a review on Vrbo but we were able to find a lot of good reviews on a competitor's website. We loved that it was a standalone home/cottage which is really hard to find at a reasonable price in a good area. This listing surpasses all others that we looked at and we are happy that we selected it. It is in a nice neighborhood not too far from the beach and we felt safe walking around the quiet community. The host was also very kind and accommodating as well as very responsive online before we booked and when we actually arrived. We will definitely book again!
