Beacher's Oceanfront Balcony Suite with Onsite Front desk and staff

This 4th floor Balcony Suite is on the top floor overlooking the pool and ocean. This condo has a small table on the balcony if you wish to wake up and enjoy your cup of coffee on the balcony. There is a queen sized sleeper sofa in the living room with a 32" flat screen tv TV. The kitchenette is fully equipped with everything you need including a 4 burner stove and oven, renovated in January 2022. The bathroom was also renovated to include a walk in shower and quartz countertops. The private bedroom has a comfortable queen bed and a 19" standard TV. NO PETS ARE ALLOWED Minimum age to rent is 21 years old

Perfect location for a lovely weekend….the front desk was helpful & welcoming…..had some issues that required maintenance (TV) & he came quickly & temporarily restored the issues. The bed (mattress) really needs to be retired. There’s not anything nice to say about the bed. Otherwise the location & unit was lovely

Great Beach Getaway!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We always enjoy staying at the Beacher’s Lodge when we visit the Saint Augustine area for an extended stay. Great location, and love the fact that it has direct private access to the beach. The room we stayed in was nice however I would say that they do need to have better lighting in the bedroom. It may have been the previous guest that did it, but the guidebook was not visible to explain the use of the TV and different information about the unit. I found it on my very last day hidden under books. Might suggest that housekeeper makes sure that that guidebook is near unit entryway table when they prepare the room for the next guests. Unif was very quiet and we didn’t hear a lot of outside noise. Our 4th floor unit was directly overlooking the pool and boardwalk so they had a great view of the beach. I loved the balcony seating.The bathroom/shower was a little bit tight quarters and it was probably not necessary to have a standard door entry into the bathroom because of the limited space between the door/toilet. Perhaps you could install a slider door instead to create a little more space in the bathroom.I would recommend seeing about increasing the water pressure and the unit or adding a multi functional shower head with a hose because since there is soft water use, it’s very hard to rinse off the sandThe location of the unit was great because it was close to the ice machine an elevator access. I would highly recommend finding a unit on the south end of the building because it will be the easiest access to the beach pool, etc. The loading area is a very limited space and it’s too close to other parking spaces (especially handicap) . It might be better to take away a couple of parking spaces near the loading zone and make that solely dedicated for loading and unloading. Since it’s near the ramp and that area sloped, it would make it much easier with the cart.Overall, it was a great vacation and a really

Beach getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family had 7 different rooms for a cousin’s get together. My room was very nice on the 4th floor. We loved the view of the ocean. The balcony is a great place to get the day started with a cup of coffee. The room was in a little need of repair. Some of the drawers didn’t close properly. we found most of the kitchens lacked in some of the staple items for a kitchen. One example is we had no oven mitts or anything to take out food from the oven. No mixing bowls. The ladies that took care of us in our room rooms were very polite and accommodating to anything we needed.When we arrived, we found that the office was not as pleasant as it had been in times before when we had been there. We had to wait on a room to get ready and we had one Family that they had charged the wrong credit card even though they had asked them to make sure they charged the right one when they checked in. We love coming there we love the beach and more than likely. Our whole gang will be back next summer.

We enjoyed our first 3-night stay so much, we returned for a 2-night stay before the drive back to NY. Again: beautiful location, quiet surroundings, inspirational sunrises. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Saint Augustine. The location is also only 20 minutes from downtown.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of Beacher's is approximately 15 minutes from downtown. There are many restaurants, stores, and coffee shops in between. The unit was small but clean and well-equipped. The pool is typical but the chairs back up against the railing of the first floor guest rooms. The beach is very wide during low tide but clean. I would recommend this property and would return if back in the area.

Quiet retreat in Crescent Beach

Reviewer Comments: The rental was clean when we arrived, and we were especially impressed with the kitchen and living area.We had quick access to the beach and pool immediately at the foot of our stairs. The pool was fairly spacious, clean, and well-maintained. All the staff were very pleasant and willing to help. Beacher's Lodge is a few minutes away from most of the restaurants we enjoy, but all in all it was a tremendous value.

Visit to St Augustine

Only problem was the elevator which seemed to have a short circuit and was not responding to our demand... some of the back of the chairs around the pool need some cleaning probably due to the use of sun tan lotion.

My 80 yr old mother actually cried because we were not in the room we liked. We booked several weeks before but door was still broken?

Loved that we could drive on the beach right I front of the condo so no dragging bags and coolers. Room was small but that was expected. The sliding door did mess up but didn’t mess up our stay. View was awesome. Pool was nice.

Low traffic beach area!

We love it here. Low traffic in this beautiful beach. About 12 min to St Augustine and all the attractions but still low key, less touristy área to stay. Clean rooms. Clean property. Safe neighborhood.The kitchen had all we needed to prepare a few simple meals. Clean bathroom. The rental is small but plenty of room for two with an ocean view I won’t forget anytime soon. Beach access and a heated pool. We will come back again!

Girl's trip -Last trip of the summer with grandgirls

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We chose Beacher's Lodge because this has been a beach destination in our family for the last 30 years. Girl's trip: Granny, Mom and twin grandgirls 9 yrs old. We stayed in Unit 406 which we selected because of the advertised new sofa (we would need the bed), the newly remodeled bathroom, table with 4 chairs, the oven and pool/beach view. Overall we were happy with the room. There was one big problem: The mattress on the pull out sofa was literally unsleepable. It was like a box spring, you could feel every metal spring, with a thin fabric covering it. So we made it work by one person sleeping on the couch and one person sleeping in the recliner. The other two slept in the bed. The other problem we found was the lack of kitchen utensils. Again, we made it work but it would not cost much to put in a skillet that wasn't bent or scratched up and a potholder. The positives were many. The kitchen appliances were great for such a small space. The counter top was new and the space was adequate for meal prep. The sink was nice and large. The bathroom had a very nice walk in shower. The bedroom was large with good space to store clothes/luggage. The electrical cords to the 2 TV's needed some attention as both had a maze of wires hanging down the walls.The employees of Beacher's Lodge were all so nice, polite and helpful. It was good to feel that you, as a customer, were appreciated. From the office to the room and maintenance staff they were just genuinely nice people. There is a fabulous ice cream shop across the street that topped off our daily schedule, and I do mean every day. I highly recommend this ritual!
