This property is suitable for those looking for:

3) As a wedding party home complete with bridal dressing parlor - with additional access to sections of the property in which to host your small wedding (additional fees apply and reservation restrictions and rules). We are close to many outdoor adventures such as rafting and hiking, nationally renowned wineries and famous historic sites to name just a few.

Enjoy blissful mornings and breathtaking sunsets on the porch or “catch and release” bass fishing on the private lake while watching the natural wildlife on this equestrian and agricultural ranch. (lake is only suitable as an eco lake - so swimming not allowed).

Fishing and Paddle boats:

Fee is $20/day per person to fish and use the paddle boats. Paypal payments prior to visit at payments@saureelvineyards.com

Horse boarding and a world class equine facility with indoor and outdoor arenas also available for those traveling cross country.

This ranch home is one of several other homes contained on this estate. The Owner also lives on this estate in a separate home. The VRBO rental home itself is the only home on this estate that is being advertised and rented through VRBO.

This home contains 3 bedrooms, 2 baths with all the amenities right in the center of a picturesque pastoral setting with views to the estate wildlife lake that has to be seen to be believed!

HERE ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR BOOKING THIS PROPERTY AS A GETAWAY HOME:
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: Six (6) (no exceptions)
AGE REQUIREMENTS: 75% of your party must be age 35 or above. Identification (i.e., passport or drivers license) will be required prior to completing your reservation.
BOOKING REQUIREMENTS: ONLY BOOKED THROUGH VRBO AND ONLY CONSIDERED CONFIRMED UPON RECEIPT OF YOUR SIGNATURE ON OUR VACATION RENTAL AGREEMENT AND A COPY OF YOUR DRIVER'S LICENSE WITHIN 24 HRS OF YOUR BOOKING OR YOUR BOOKING WILL BE CANCELLED. You will receive our Vacation Rental Agreement after you have insta-booked the property.
SPECIAL NOTES: This home has a separate room that has been remodeled and made into a Bridal Party Dressing Area for those that will be renting a SEPARATE area of this property for their Wedding Event. For those of you that will be staying with us that ARE NOT hosting a Wedding Event, this Bridal Party Dressing Room will be closed off and access with be prohibited.

Saureel Vineyards is also a stunning, serene and picturesque wedding and event lake venue in El Dorado County with multiple areas around the Lake to host a special gathering.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES INSTA BOOK THIS RANCH HOME WITH THE INTENT OF HAVING AN EVENT WITHOUT THE OWNER'S PRIOR WRITTEN APPROVAL.
BEFORE MAKING ANY INQUIRIES ABOUT EVENTS THOROUGHLY READ AND FOLLOW THE STEPS BELOW OR YOUR EVENT WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

1) These wedding event bookings are separate from VRBO and MUST BE APPROVED BY OWNERS BEFORE BOOKING THIS RANCH LAKE HOUSE for the wedding couple to stay. This VRBO site is for booking the Ranch Lake House for up to 6 guests only. If you book the dates through this site with the intent to have a gathering or event prior to consent of the owner, the dates will be immediately cancelled with no further consideration.

2) If you are interested in booking a gathering or event, FIRST SEND AN INQUIRY and DISCLOSE these items in complete detail:
a) The exact nature of your event
b) Total number of people in attendance (including you)
c) Dates in which you wish to reserve (NOTE: THERE IS A MINIMUM OF A 2 NIGHT BOOKING AT THIS RANCH HOUSE SO BE SURE YOUR DATES REFLECT 2 NIGHTS)

3) SMALL WEDDING EVENT BASE CHARGES IN ADDITION TO RANCH HOME RENTAL ARE AS FOLLOWS:
a) Maximum number of total people at Wedding Event is NO MORE THAN as determined by most recent COVD ordinances in El Dorado County.
b) FOR EXAMPLE: UNDER 30 PEOPLE TOTAL = $1000 fee for use of lawn ONLY behind Ranch Lake House
c) FOR EXAMPLE: UNDER 30 PEOPLE TOTAL = $1,000 MINIMUM SECURITY DEPOSIT
d) Separate SAUREEL VINEYARDS EVENT CONTRACT is to be signed PRIOR TO BOOKING of the ranch home.
e) proof of purchase of one day event insurance naming Saureel Vineyards as the additional insured.
f) Larger areas around the lake are also available for such events and those fees increase as area and event amenities increase for events.

IF you meet the above criteria and receive the Owner's approval for your Event, you will be sent a pre-approval to INSTA BOOK this ranch home that WILL IN TURN SECURE YOUR DATES FOR YOUR EVENT. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES INSTA BOOK THIS RANCH HOME FOR AN EVENT WITHOUT THE OWNER'S WRITTEN APPROVAL.

CANCELLATION, FORFEITS CATASTROPHIC EVENTS, EMERGENCY EVACUATIONS & REFUNDS:

Owners have a strict cancellation policy. Once a booking for our property is received, the property is removed from the market for those dates and potential guest renters look elsewhere for their accommodations. We understand the challenges of planning travel during these times with variables we cannot control, however, we are a business and bookings that are cancelled less than 60 days prior to a scheduled stay negatively affect our ability to rebook our property for those dates.

Owners are not responsible or liable for unforeseen circumstances such as: Unfavorable weather, road conditions, catastrophic events, emergency evacuations, Acts of God, disruption of utility services, power outages, disruption of cable and/or internet services, malfunction or breakdown of appliances, boiler, water supply, sewers, hot tub, or other equipment malfunctions such as TVs. There will be no refunds or rebates given to Guest Renters as a result of any unfortunate circumstances that are outside of the Owner’s control within your stay.

If a catastrophe (hurricane, tornado, earthquake, flood, fire, or wild fire etc.) or any situation simply beyond our control impairs the vacation rental stay, Owners are not responsible for finding alternate lodging for the Guest Renters or for the Guest Renters’ financial losses related to transportation or alternate lodging. There will be NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS FOR EMERGENCY EVACUATIONS. GUEST RENTERS ASSUME THE RISK OF LOSS IN THESE SITUATIONS.

ALL CANCELLATIONS MADE PRIOR TO A GUEST’S ARRIVAL DATE, REGARDLESS OF THE DATE WHEN THE CANCELLATION IS MADE, WILL INCUR A $150.00 CANCELLATION FEE. This cancellation fee will be deducted from the Guest Renter’s deposit/rent payment that was made at the time of booking.

Written Cancellation Notices made, regardless of the date the cancellation was made, will receive a 100% refund for the following items that were pre-paid by the Guest:
1) Cleaning Fee
2) Additional Damage Protection Insurance Premium Fee

There will be NO REFUNDS if you choose to depart early from your scheduled stay.

SPECIFIC COVID CANCELLATION POLICY:

Cancellations made within any number of days prior to your confirmed stay due to “COVID SHUTDOWNS” will receive 100% refund. “COVID SHUTDOWNS” are described as shutdowns directed by County, State, and/or Federal officials in these situations:

1) El Dorado County
2) State of Nevada
3) National (USA)
4) GLOBAL

You will NOT receive a refund if you cancel due to the fact that either yourself, or someone else in your party, contracts COVID and needs to cancel within 30 days or less of your confirmed stay dates. In the unlikely event this would happen, the General Cancellation Policies below will apply:
 
“ULTRA ADVANCED BOOKINGS” CANCELLATION POLICY: 60 Day required

ULTRA ADVANCED BOOKING cancellations that are made SIXTY (60) days or more before guest’s scheduled arrival check-in date will receive a 100% refund, minus the $150 cancellation fee.

Cancellations 59-31 days before check-in will receive 50% refund.
Cancellations 30 days or less before check-in will NOT RECEIVE A REFUND.

“CLOSER TO YOUR STAY DATE BOOKINGS” CANCELLATION POLICY: 30 Day required

CLOSER TO YOUR STAY DATE BOOKING cancellations that are made THIRTY (30) days or more before guest’s scheduled arrival check-in date will receive a 100% refund, minus the $150 cancellation fee.

Cancellations 14-30 days before check-in will receive 50% refund.
Cancellations 1-13 days before check-in will NOT RECEIVE A REFUND.
