Awesome House

The pictures for this property are awesome, but they don’t the this house justice. It’s newly renovated, while keeping the character of the house. It’s beautifully decorated, with a level of sophistication, class and comfort. Great place to stay and we will be back!

Beautiful Home

Beautiful home close to a lot of local amenities. It is close to train tracks and trains do run throughout the night. They supply sound boxes in each room, Nohowever they do not supply plug in bricks for them, so if you intend to use them, make sure you bring extra bricks.

Great Group Stay

The property is as listed: an updated, beautiful, older home that is tastefully decorated in a quiet neighborhood. We were happy to find a place that gave us enough space to gather comfortably, and the six of us (ages 56-89) could have individual beds! This is a plus in our book; all the beds are super comfortable. One bedroom with access to the full bath on the first floor was a good option. Mark and his team were very responsive. The digital link for the property was helpful and provided all the information for our stay. We had plenty of room and everything we needed.

family time!

We 5 siblings were here for a long weekend to celebrate our folks' 72nd wedding anniversary. It was perfect! We chose this house because of the 1st floor bedroom and bathroom as the folks are 93 and 95. The kitchen was well appointed which made it easy to have all our meals in the house. Breakfast and coffee were around the fire ring in the back yard. SO nice!! The beds were SO comfortable. Plenty of luxurious towels for bathing. Plenty of seating for the 7 of us to sit at the table or in the living room. The large (beautiful!) kitchen island worked great for buffet-style serving. The decor was just as lovely as the pictures. We did not have any little ones, but I saw a pack-n-play as well as a potty chair in one of the closets. :-) We would all recommend this house for your next, large gathering.

We were very happy with our vrbo, it was as niceAs the pictures showed! Everyone was very comfortable and the size was perfect. The kitchen was amazing as well as the long table. A few of our concerns:We went to make coffee, the pot wasn’t clean and when I opened the filter area, it not only still had a used coffee filter inside , once I removed it, there was quite a lot of used grinds below the filter holder. There were no additional garbage bags at all. We had to purchase garbage bags. The tub spout in the downstairs bathtub is very loose and feels like it could fall off but we were careful. There is a roof leak and did leak on one of the beds, we did address it with the owner and it will be taken care .

Thank you so much for your kind words and thoughtful feedback! We’re so glad to hear the home met your expectations and that everyone was comfortable during your stay. We truly appreciate you bringing those concerns to our attention. The coffee pot has since been thoroughly cleaned, extra garbage bags have been restocked, and the tub spout has been checked and secured. Regarding the roof leak, as you mentioned, it was addressed during your stay and is being properly taken care of to prevent future issues. Thanks again for staying with us—we’d love to host you again anytime!
