Book a stay in this beautiful updated 1930's boarding house located right off of the strip at GOTL! A new listing due to ownership change. The Westlake House has been operating as a STVR for years and consistently receives 5 Stars.

Featuring original sinks in each bedroom, gorgeous chestnut trim & a chef's kitchen built by the a master craftsman. The house sleeps 8 (& one well-behaved dog). Peek-a-boo lake views from many windows, spacious front porch with swing & backyard with deck & fire pit.

This was a great stay. Plenty of space for the entire family to gather. First time an actual house felt bigger than the actual listing. Can not wait to visit again in the summer.

6 adults stayed here together and we loved the large well stocked kitchen, huge dining room table, and spacious living room. The interior of the house features beautiful wood floors and woodwork in all rooms except for the tiled floors in the bathrooms and kitchen. It is in a great location too. We thoroughly enjoyed our time together in this charming home.

The Westlake House was wonderful. Clean, great kitchen, location was perfect for us and very comfortable beds and sofas!!! We enjoyed the outdoor space and loved the front porch!! It a great old home with so many neat rooms. Definitely would recommend!!! Haley was great to work with.

This place was perfect for a girls’ getaway and wine tour. There were 5 of us and we each had our own bed. Plenty of bathrooms and sinks too! (A trash can in each bedroom by the sink would be a recommended addition.) Great location! We loved being able to walk to the public park to enjoy the sunset over the lake. The kitchen is a little dated, and not very organized; it took us a while to find a matching lid. :) The plumbing fixtures throughout the house could be upgraded, but overall it was very clean (except for the front porch, but that’s expected). The air conditioning wasn’t working when we first arrived, and the host sent someone over right away to fix it. Very communicative and responsive! We are looking forward to staying here again the next time we visit GOTL. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Loved, loved the house! My Husband & I, & are two sons (ages 23 & 16) stayed at this beautiful property. We live in OKC, OK, but are originally from Ohio. We’ve been coming to GOTL X 50 years (multiple generations)! We loved the decor of the house, & of course the historic components of it! A few things we’d recommend: the faucet in the kitchen needs replaced. It would spray everywhere when it was turned on. The house overall was clean, we just noticed that some of the window sills & base boards were very dusty. We bought cleaning supplies & dusted some of the areas that we could. Also would recommend a trash can in the kitchen that has a lid to it. Again…overall the house was wonderful, which is why we just wanted the owners to be aware of some things we noticed that did not fit how the rest of the house was kept. We’d love to rent this house again next year for 5 nights in mid July. Thank you!

Perfect place for a family vacation!

We stayed at The Westlake House for a family vacation over July 4th with our two young children. The house is a perfect location - very close to the main drag but still quiet. Walking distance to Geneva Township Park and views of the lake. The house had everything we needed, even a pack-and-play for the baby and toys for our toddler. Very easy to communicate with the owner with questions. Highly recommend!

Couples Get Away

Me and my three sisters and our spouses all got together for the weekend. The house was wonderful. The weather was cold and wet, but we were happy to hang out indoors. We’re planning on a repeat next year!

The WestLake House

Beautiful house, nice location near the Lake. It had a beautiful yard for my dogs to run in. We really appreciated being able to bring our small dogs. The house has character & a story to tell. The owners were very receptive during a bad storm, tornado warning. Highly recommend!

Beautiful property

The house & property are absolutely perfect! Nice large home with plenty of room and very well stocked! Loved the outdoor spaces, especially the large front porch! The neighborhood is quiet, but a short 4 minute walk to the "strip". This is our 7th year as a family staying in GOTL & the first year we were able to all stay in one home! Highly recommend this property! We will definitely book this house again!! Thank you!

Beautiful home in beautiful location

This was a beautiful home just a brief walk to the local park overlooking the lake and also an easy walk to the strip. The home was so clean, comfortable, and we loved discovering the historic charm of the home (like sinks in every bedroom) while appreciating the updated amenities. It met all of our needs. Highly recommend!

Family vacation

There where 7 of us + 1 dog. Great house with lots of room for everyone. Loved being right next to the park for dog walking multiple times a day. Close to the strip for easy access to food and games.

Charming, Beautiful, Spotless! GOTL home

This home was one of the most charming and clean properties that we have stayed in at GOTL. From the back yard which is surrounded by homes, but gives you a wonderful feel of privacy as it is fenced in. The deck area was a great place for us to hang out in the evenings, build a little fire and cook out. The front porch is a great place to sit as well as it is covered and just as charming as the back yard. The landscaping is immaculate....and that is just the outside of the property. The inside was well stocked with all the essentials you would need to prepare a meal and the kitchen is large enough for two or three people to prepare meals. The bedrooms were all very nice and the bathrooms and showers were great as well. The overall charm of this home was fantastic. The owners were easy to work with and very friendly when we spoke to them. We will definitely have this on our list to come back to stay next year!!! Thank you Jess and Jen for sharing your property with myself and my family.

Feels like home...but better!

My second stay here didnt disappoint. The house is even better than last time. Great location, minutes from the hustle bustle,seconds from a lakeview sunset. The new hammock swing on the porch might be the best spot in GOTL. So many extra touches, like the 2nd floor coffee bar and the tons of drawers in the kitchen filled withanything you could possibly need, make this place as convenient as being in your own house, while simultaneously reminding you of how special this home is. I love this place, and hope to return again next year!
