Our stay here was wonderful! Our communication with the host was great. The home was very clean upon arrival and stocked with all necessities to make our stay very comfortable. The pool was fantastic, and the location was perfectly located, close to shopping, beaches, restaurants, and downtown Venice. We loved our stay here!

Beautiful home in a fantastic location. Very clean!!! Host was very friendly and accommodating. Home is decorated super cute! Swimming pool was amazing!!! Comfy beds with TVs in each bedroom. I highly recommend staying here. You will not be disappointed!!!

Coming from a New Yorker, let me tell you — Richard’s place exceeded our expectations. The photos don’t do it justice. Check-in was a breeze with the keyless August app; even my friend who arrived before me had no problem getting in.The house itself is very spacious, with a great split-bedroom layout that gave each of us plenty of privacy at the end of the day. The pool area was one of our favorite spots — a screened-in lanai with a TV and a BBQ grill that we put to good use one afternoon. Truly an added bonus.The location in Venice Gardens was perfect, with two beaches just a short drive away: the historic area and the Venice Fishing Pier. We also enjoyed amazing meals at Fins at Sharky’s and Made in Italy — both spots that can hold their own with the high-end restaurants we’re used to back in New York.All in all, we’d absolutely stay at Richard’s house again the next time we’re in the Venice area — which my friends have officially dubbed a “hidden gem.”

Great house for the family. Conveniently located, and everything you need included. A few hiccups during the stay but the owner was very responsive and everything was resolved.

Relaxing stay

The property is just like you see in the pictures. It’s welcoming and warm. Well furnished! Good location. Quiet neighborhood. Close to downtown Venice which is cutesy. Within reasonable drive to good beaches. Close to stores. The pool was indeed heated and was very nice in the evenings! Overall a very pleasant stay! The only complaint is the knives are bad.

This home was beautiful and very homey. Loved the pool and all the extras in the Kitchen. Plenty of towels to use to go to the beach, by the pool, or to shower with. Kitchen was fully stocked with pans, utensils, and silverware. There was a lot of spices to which saved money. Cleaning items available for you to use and keep your space clean. Loved seeing all the birds and Iguanas. The landscaping is gorgeous. The outside TV was a added bonus too. By far my favorite place to stay This is at least my 30th home I have rented in Venice. Living room was comfortable and they even had board games. 10 out of 10

Had a great time staying in Venice, was a quick drive to Casperson and all the shark teeth you'd like to have. House does not have a hot tub which is disappointing, but otherwise worked for our family

Great trip! House is only a short drive to downtown Venice and the beach. Kids loved the pool. Richard was very responsive when needed! Thanks for a great vacation!

Close to Everything

Booked for a long weekend to take kids and grandkids shark tooth hunting. Was great to have the pool, the house is clean and uncluttered. Was close to beaches, shopping, restaurants, pier…I recommend and would rent again.

Clean, Great Location and Wonderful Communication with the property manager

The listing was everything it stated! The house was very clean and cozy! The communication with the property manager was easy and phenomenal. My family enjoyed every minute of our stay at this house! This vacation rental is nothing short of perfect! 10/10 would recommend to anyone! We are already looking forward to our stay here again next year!

Amazingly clean, close to general shopping and only minutes away from multiple beaches. The heated pool was great especially on days we v did not choose the beach...... Very quiet neighbourhood. We look forward to our next stay in 2025. Host was very helpful and communicative when needed Just a couple of hick ups, but they were immediately resolved.

It was great. A booklet for operations of TV for non- computer people and other house information. A hair dryer on site and maybe a grill? Besides that, what a great place.

Close to everything

Quiet neighborhood close to grocery stores less than 5 min away. Dog beach and Venice beach less than 10 min away. Siesta beach is about 30 min. Pool needed cleaning/chlorine but still enjoyable. Home had enough towels for 5+. Air mattress came in handy. Beach chairs umbrella were available. Would recommend!

Spring Break Saved!

We loved our stay! Our previous plans fell through at the last minute and we were so thankful to find a place still available and for a great price. The pool sealed the deal for us. An added bonus was the fact that the house is located close to shopping and the beach without being on a busy road. The drive to Venice Beach and the Venice Fishing Pier were short and easy even during busy traffic times. Our only complaint was the sparse furnishings (no side tables or lamps in the bedrooms, not enough seating in the living room) and lack of kitchen dishes. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely book again!

Vacation home

The house is big enough to sleep 8 people. The house in nice and have the essentials. No bbq witch we didn’t like. The pool needed more chlorine for sure. I am pretty sure the house is working progress but still since can sleep 8 should have plates and silverware for that many people and there wasn’t, but there was dishwasher machine . Also washer and drier which was good. The attached garage was a good feature too. Pool toys and beach umbrella were handy.

Charming rental easily accessible to Venice and Manasota beach

Stayed for the weekend before Thanksgiving to visit family and was very pleased with the rental and layout. The two bedrooms are on either side of the house and the enclosed lanai with pullout couch is an ideal space for kids or a couple of air mattresses. Pool enclosure was still being repaired post-Milton but the pool itself was clean and neat (Edison bulbs around the back of the house add a nice touch for a late night beer on the patio). Living room and kitchen spaces were also very clean and had an organic layout upon entry into the rental. Rental itself is true to the listing for being about 8 minutes away from downtown Venice, so we spent a lot of the day out and about and got to see the city putting up the Christmas lights on the Palm trees downtown. We spent the Sunday afternoon checkout at Mannasota beach which was open and collected a bunch of really nice shark teeth as a souvenir. The owner was very responsive to messages so we knew exactly what was needed for check-in/check-out, and actually got to meet the property manager and learn about some of the goings-on downtown that weekend (Thank you, Jenny for the recommendations! Yummies Donuts & BBQ was well worth the trip!). Thank you again for a pleasant stay and for a very well cared for rental. Will definitely consider again when back in the area.
