Great house but poorly managed
The house was beautiful and in a great location. We rented the house for the week of Christmas. A month before we arrived at the house I contacted the rental manager to ask what kind of kitchen supplies were available. I did not ever get a response. The kitchen has lots of tools and gadgets, however, the oven was broken. We contacted the rental manager and they said they would send someone out as soon as possible. We never heard back and no one was sent throughout the week to fix the oven. We were unable to use it throughout the week. In previous reviews dating back to July, there were reports that the oven was broken. We were very disappointed this had not been handled, and would have not expected this.
On top of this, the wine coolers did not work (they did not get cold and they continuously beeped until we turned them off completely). Additionally, there were not enough towels for everyone - there were only large bath towels and washcloths. When I asked the rental manager if there were additional towels available I never heard back.
The rental description mentioned a golf cart available for use, but when we arrived at the house we were informed that we had to pay extra to use it.
The property manager was not available throughout the week and there were many things that were poorly communicated. Would stay here again only if the property was managed by someone else.
