Enjoy this year-round home built exclusively as a vacation rental and loaded with amenities! 3 bed/3 full bath, 3 levels, fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, forced air heat & AC, wi-fi, cable, private beach, all linens, towels supplied! Just bring your food and beverages! Located on the strip at Geneva on the Lake, just minutes from Grand River Valley wineries!

The Neighborhood:
Heart of the strip, summertime there is always something to do! Eddie's Grill, Madsen Doughnuts, Adventure Zone, mini-golf,the list is endless! Wintertime brings peace and quiet, cozy up on the couch with the fireplace going and watch the winter waves crash from the expansive windows facing the water!

We had an amazing time at the Sunset Cottage and plan to return next year for our annual girl’s trip weekend. After staying in GOTL for the past five year at other locations, we were delighted and fell in love with the location, the cottage itself, the beach and the view!

Everything was perfect! Fabulous views - literally right on the lake. Great location. We were just .5 mile from our nephew's wedding venue. The strip (shops, bars, restaurants) even a shorter walk right down the street. The house was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Family that visited us (from other rentals in the immediate vicinity) saved this location for a future stay as they all loved it compared to where they were staying! Highly recommend.

This house is great. Plenty of room and nicely laid out. The view is great and having the outside seating was so enjoyable. It is centrally located can walk about anywhere. Will definitely return.

Girls trip

There were 6 of us that stayed for an extended weekend getaway and it couldn’t have been more perfect! We had absolutely everything we needed (and more), and the space fit us flawlessly! This house is in a prime location with spectacular views! This was our first time at GOTL and when we return, it will definitely be to The Sunset Cottage.

Fantastic, frequent communication from hosts, gorgeous property and views, spacious and family-friendly. Very clean and homey. Everything you could think of was provided for a getaway (including kitchen appliances!).

Big East Swim Championship at Spire

This home was absolutely perfect. Very clean, nice towels, comfortable beds and pillows. It had everything we needed and more. We came in February when most of the GOTL restaurants and shops are closed for the season. We were in town to watch the NCAA Big East Swim Championships at the Spire institute. Close to the facility. We will definitely return to Ohio in the summer to experience the town.

Did it all!

Had a blast swimming in the lake at The Sunset Cottage, went to The Adventure Zone, Whip'n'Dip, Eddie's Grill, all of the iconic GOTL attractions. The Sunset Cottage owner and property manager are so easy to communicate with and quick to respond. Excellent!

Extended Weekend Family Getaway

This is my third time staying at this home and it never disappoints! The view of Lake Erie is absolutely beautiful! The house is located right on the main strip, but it feels residential and quiet. My family loves being located minutes from multiple wineries and a State Park.We are so grateful for every visit here.

Beautiful

There is no way to describe how wonderful this place is, even to old Lake Erie pros like us. As soon as you walk in, you see nothing but water! Everything is so well taken care of and so spacious. Great location right on the edge of town so you can walk to anywhere. Our only problem was with the TV - it's not that simple to operate, but we're used to basic cable.

The best in Geneva

Located right on the Geneva strip and just a short drive from wineries, State Park and beaches. Three bedrooms, each with their own private full baths. Lakefront with awesome views and beautiful sunsets.
