This cozy, secluded cabin sits on the edge of a 1000-acre farm overlooking rolling hay fields. This is the perfect spot for solo travelers, families, or couples to relax, recharge, and enjoy the outdoors. Find yourself drinking coffee, finishing up work, or deep in a good book in the sunroom. Then fill your day with outdoor activities throughout the Allegheny Highlands. At night, grill out and enjoy dinner around the table. Then light a bonfire and stargaze before ending the night.

Amazing Property!

This was a great property near Hot Springs. It was a stunning cabin and the views are amazing. Easy drive into Hot Springs right down the road.

Relaxing Mountain Cabin

We enjoyed a quiet weekend in the mountains. The morning views were peaceful and we were able to enjoy the property alongside our adventures in the region. Had we stayed longer we would have utilized more of the amenities - like the fire pit.

Serene getaway!

Such an incredible stay! We spent the weekend here with 2 babies under 2 and it was the perfect spot to relax while letting the little ones roam! A short drive to Hot Springs for a trip to the winery or brewery is also a must.

Beautiful accommodations

The cabin is beautiful and thoughtfully stocked. It was also very clean. The views were spectacular. The host was wonderful as well, very friendly and responsive. We will definitely stay here again, if we ever return to Virginia.

Hot Springs Getaway

Booked the property for a golf weekend for my husband's 60th birthday. Property was fabulous, view was amazing and owner was extremely accommodating. While the giys golfed, the women enjoyed the hot springs which were amazing. If you visit this area I strongly recommend this property.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

This cabin is such a great spot to relax and enjoy the mountains. Close proximity to Douthat and the Warm Springs, this is such a great location. The cabin itself has everything you could want or need for a stay. I recommend screenshooting check in instructions as there is no service at the cabin, but there is wifi you'll need to get inside to get password for. We loved the back room for morning coffees and reading books while overlooking the pastures. We would definitely come back for another visit.

If you are looking for a rural cabin with all the modern amenities this is it!Surrounded by farms, small towns and expansive forests, this is perfect for private seclusion. Approx 1/4 mile from the road, through winding forest.Fast and reliable WIFI, beautiful views, washer and dryer and comfortable beds.Deer came to the adjacent pasture in full view each morning and evening. Fire pit in back was a big hit with grandson.We are in this area only every other year, but will be back again!

Isolation is key

Great little cabin in the woods. Very isolated and huge amount of running around outside space. Rained a good portion of the time there, but we stayed occupied. Overall pleasant stay. May go back again if in the area.

A peaceful, relaxing getaway

This cabin is idyllic! It is nicely furnished with the kitchen that is well stocked with all essentials. The beds are super comfortable. There is a washer and dryer available to use. The gas logs made for a perfect evening, especially when it started to snow! The owners of this VRBO could not have been more helpful. I was impressed with how quickly Gwen responded to my text messages. We had a great stay and look forward to coming back there again if you are looking for a peaceful stay with gorgeous views, this is the place to go.

Incredible Find

This was by far the greatest bargain of anyplace we have stayed. It was private, cozy, and comfortable, not to mention beautiful! If you like cabins, you will love this! The host was gracious and helpful, even allowing us to stay an extra day. I would highly recommend to anyone planning to visit the Homestead, at a fraction of the cost. We attended a wedding in Greenbrier, almost an hour away. Plus, we drove an extra 40 minutes to get there, but it was well worth it.

A great spot to just take a breathe! The house has everything you need and the view is wonderful. Gwen is a wonderful communicator and one can tell she takes pride in the property. The o my thing I would add to the space would be a little outdoor dining table! It is difficult to want to come I side when there is all of that beauty on the back porch.

Personal retreat

Just needed a little time away from the stress of a 24/7 job. This amazing cabin fit the bill perfectly. The cabin was very clean, well appointed, and the views from the back porch and sunroom are amazing. I spent time alone just relaxing and reading and enjoying the beautiful scenery. It was also very convenient for me as it was only about an hour and half from where I live. Just far enough away but not too far. This place was wonderful and can easily accommodate 8 to 10 people. The house is very spacious offering areas for different groups with a family gathering. I will definitely keep this place marked for future use again.

This cabin has it all! My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Spectacular views of the mountains from the back patio. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need for cooking. Nice cookware, glassware, dishes, utensils and all gadgets and a nice coffee maker. My family used the crockpot for a pot roast dinner for after the CLIFTON FORGE FALL FESTIVAL. The cabin was just a short drive from there. The cabin was very clean which we loved! The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms had very nice showers. The fireplace we enjoyed also! Sunrise and sunset was nice to watch from the back of the house with our morning coffee in hand. The washer and dryer worked well and the front porch swing was nice. The cabin has a nice 2 car garage. My family had fun playing the games provided especially the Monopoly game. A nice time to relax and unwind! Today just after leaving to go home we stopped just down the road at a beautiful, breathtaking waterfall and took pictures. It was amazing!!! Our host Gwen communicated fast with any questions we had before arriving and gave us so much information for everything we needed while there for the weekend. My family and I will most definitely be back to stay at this wonderful cabin again in the future! We would definitely recommend staying here
