If you're going to getaway to the Mountains...you need at Mountain View!

Relax and unwind at Mountain Therapy, a lovely 4-bedroom plus loft, 3.5-bathroom vacation home for up to 9 guests. Great for a fun family vacation or a getaway with some friends. Plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces for the group to spread out.

Begin your days at Mountain Therapy with a cup of coffee brewed in the fully equipped kitchen where you will find all of the dishes and tools you need to make and enjoy meals here. If you feel like grilling…please enjoy the new grill on the fireside deck with a mountain view! The other outdoor living spaces include a shady screen porch and a large sundeck where you can enjoy the peace of the mountains.

Get cozy in front of the floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace and gorgeous window wall in the main living area. The kids will love the second level loft to watch TV on the big screen and play board games. When you're ready to play…head down to the amazing terrace level that has a cool/rustic vibe and features an indoor water feature, pool table, wet bar, TV, lots of games, along with another outdoor living area that is covered with a fireplace.

Sleeping arrangements include 2 king beds, 1 queen bed, 1 bunkbed and 1 twin bed.

This home also includes Wi-Fi, YouTube TV, washer/dryer, an indoor jetted tub.

Beyond the home but within this gated community there are many activities for all members of the family!!!!!!!

This house is amazing!! Beautiful view and beautiful interior with a well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed cooking on the grill and sitting on the deck next to the outdoor fireplace. Owner was very helpful and responsive to questions. Plenty of room for our family of 5 and our boys loved the pool table. We will definitely stay again!

The property exceeded all of my expectations and especially the expectations of my 86 year old mom. The Mountain view was other worldly and accessible from inside the property and from the numerous decks. The open and spacious floor plan and finely appointed furnishings allowed all of our guests to relax and enjoy the property. I will make plans to visit again in the future.

Great place for family Christmas

This house was perfect for our family Christmas. The different levels were perfect for the different ages to get some separation but big enough areas for us all to be together also. Dining table was the perfect size for 10 of us.

Wonderful home away from home for Christmas!

Home is beautiful and the view is spectacular!! The pictures don’t do it justice. The 3 separate levels and multiple living spaces made it easy for our large family to spread out and relax. And having it decorated for Christmas with a beautiful tree was an added plus! We even had a family of deer visit us every morning 😊 Highly recommend for your family getaway. We’ll be back next year!

Beautiful views

My husband and I needed to recharge and love the Big Canoe community. This property was fairly easy to get to, as far as, Big Canoe goes, and the driveway was nice and level. The home was situated perfectly with long range mountain views and lush trees surrounding it. Inside, the furnishings were comfortable and there was everything we needed to make our stay relaxing. Melissa was available at any time and easy to work with. We would love to stay here again in the future!

Beautiful house, nice stay

The house is quite secluded in the mountain area, and the drive up is kind of winding and little steep- talking from the stand point that we are from Houston where it is very flat all around. My husband got used to the road after a day there but we tried not to stay out after dark and not driving when it’s raining. It’s very beautiful place and we love it! Just wish that we had a couple day more to explore. The house itself is nice, well kept, and we appreciate the help from the owner Melissa with the information for navigating around. Wish to come back another time and spend more time there.

On the steps of Heaven

This house was so much more than we expected. We weren't there for 30 minutes and saw a few deer on the property...and then more each and every day! The house is absolutely homey. It is comfortably furnished and the owner has thought of everything. Plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags etc. So many of the things I brought with me, I didn't have to use. I love to cook and the kitchen here is well stocked with all the utensils you need to make a wonderful meal. The ample outdoor space gives 4 separate outdoor areas for gathering and relaxing, which I think would be ideal for a large group. And, the bedrooms are thoughtfully placed, one in the basement, the master on the main floor, and two more upstairs. Everyone can have their own space to unwind! Also, I had no problem using the WIFI so working a bit while on vacation was easy. Phone service was fine as well. The owner was extremely responsive to me and made sure to check in with us throughout our stay. She recommended a nice place to hike and also, a wonderful place (the Marina) to take a bottle of wine and watch the gorgeous sunset. My husband and I both were able to completely relax and as the title of this review states, felt like we were "On the Steps of Heaven". I can not recommend renting this property enough! You won't be disappointed! We will be back again very soon!

We love Big Canoe for sooo many reasons! We always feel safe and secure because of the 24/7 gated entrance!! Most of the homes are owner occupied so the homes are nicely maintained. We like having the option to relax and do nothing except gaze at the mountains or to take advantage of one of the many outdoor activities that Big Canoe offers. I have never experienced a place in the mountains with these amenities .... you seriously have it all!

If you are going to getaway to the Mountains...you need at Mountain View! Our home has a stunning, ever changing Mountain View from every room and outside area on the entire back of the house. You will not be disappointed!
