Welcome to Coastal Current! This charming property is conveniently located just off Route One, close to all that Wells has to offer, and only 1 mile from Wells Beach! This first-floor unit (with some stairs to get to the main entrance) is perfect for a family of 4, or even 6 if you don't mind a few kids sleeping on the sofa bed in the living room. Coastal Current is the ideal spot for families looking to explore the Maine coast together.

You'll find yourself just a short drive from Kennebunk and Ogunquit, and a bit further from York Beach. The home features 2 bedrooms, including a king-size primary bedroom with a covered Juliet balcony, and a delightful bedroom with 2 twin beds for the kids. There is also a third rollaway bed. The full bathroom is accessible from both the primary bedroom and the hallway.

The kitchen is fully equipped to satisfy your culinary needs morning, noon, or night. After a busy day in the sun, unwind on your covered deck, grill some burgers, and then take a refreshing dip in the saltwater pool at the community's Dream Club. The Dream Club is the Barefoot Community area where you can meet up with friends, play games in the game room, work out in the gym, or simply relax and enjoy your vacation.

If you prefer not to cook, there are plenty of excellent restaurants nearby, including Congdon's After Dark. Enjoy a fun game of mini-golf at Wonder Mountain Fun Park and finish the day with ice cream at Scoop Deck. Take a leisurely walk to the beach, stopping at Billy's Chowder House or Batson River Distillery along the way for a bite to eat or a refreshing drink.

Great base for Southern Maine

Very professionally run first-floor condo set back from US1, about 3 minutes to Wells Beach and 15 minutes to Ogunquit by car. The rooms are very bright, clean, quiet, and have everything needed, including beach towels, hair dryer, front-loading washer/dryer. Staff was super responsive and even got a repairman over on Labor Day weekend for a very minor repair (loose towel rack). As a bonus there's a light on US1 so if you need to turn left it's very easy. Only downside, but this should be clear to anyone looking here, is that's not walkable to the beach (it's about a 20-minute walk but you have to cross US1). I'd do it again as a good base exploring the Kennebunkport-Ogunquit-Southern Maine region.

Excellent accommodations!!

Wonderful family memories were made at this adorable cozy clean condo. Even though we chose to dine out, everything imaginable was available at one’s fingertips for their enjoyment when prepping meals. We couldn’t have been more pleased and happier and wish to thank Pam and Mike for allowing us to share their delightful condo in beautiful Wells Maine.

Our Happy Place!

Everything about the unit was perfect! It was clean and welcoming for my husband and two adult daughters. There is a great kitchen but we choose to dine out all evenings in the Wells/ Ogunquit area! Mike and Pam were welcoming and available in case we had any questions. We would happily rent from them again. As you can see that is why this is our happy place!

The weather was beautiful the condo itself needed a good cleaning living room furniture should have been replaced stains poor cushions Bathroom vent didn’t work because the vents were clogged with dust After we arrived we found out it has been sold and will close end of September hence for the condition of condo which should not have been a reason for not properly cleaning it

Great rental

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. We were traveling with two littles. It was the perfect set up. And the location was great. It was clean and well kept. There was a slight odor that the owners were not aware of, but promptly attended to. Overall, a great experience and excellent owners!

Great place, great location

The owners Mike and Pam are very nice. The house was nice and clean. It was very comfortable and felt like home. Easy access to shops, restaurants, beach and so much more. I highly recommend!

Convenient rental with all you need

My family and I had a great stay. The property was clean and well appointed. My kids loved the pool and we took advantage of mini golf, food trucks, and Congdon’s donuts just steps away.

This condo was a very nice place to stay. It was very clean and orderly. It is centrally located between all coastal locations that one might visit during your stay. The owners checked in with us to make sure everything was up to standards. We would stay again when in the area.

Very Quaint

We All loved the place we rented. Everything was accurate as described in the listing. Clean as can be too. We were all very happy with the location and ammenities. Close to many beaches, the people in the neighborhood are very friendly. Pam and Mike were always helpful when we had any questions. We had a great week here.I hope to return again. Weeks Stay - Wells, ME

We have rented several of the Barefoot properties over the years. Like others this one was beautiful, very clean, and well appointed. We had everything we needed. However, in my opinion the kitchen table and chairs need updating - chairs are very uncomfortable to sit on as well as the living room furniture a bit worn for ware but still look nice. We really enjoyed our time here and will definitely be back. Thank You so much! Karie and Family

Hidden gem!

Cozy and in a quiet development, this condo has everything you need for a fabulous and comfortable vacation. Well appointed kitchen, washer and dryer, multiple deck areas. Pool was very clean and had fun music playing over the speakers. Walking distance to any and everything you need (grocery store, shopping, movie theater, multiple restaurants, beaches). Comfortable beds (including the pull out) and linens. Ample garage space. Many appreciated extras, like beach chairs, towels, grill, and patio furniture. When we had a small problem with the tv, Mike fixed it very quickly. We had a fabulous and very comfortable week. Looking forward to staying here again!

Great place, great location.

Clean, nicely decorated, very comfortable. We loved being able to walk to Congdons, restaurants and a short mile to the beach. We will stay here again. Best for parties of 4-5 or less. HOA rules limit parking and guests.

Great location, clean/updated property

Mike and Pam’s unit was just as described, if not better! It was an easy check-in process and we found the condo to be a great fit for the 5 of us. Well maintained and updated, it had the A/C, washer/dryer that we needed and appreciated! We had a minor issue with an appliance that Mike promptly addressed, even while he himself was on a getaway. We had a wonderful week and greatly enjoyed our stay. We’d highly recommend renting from Mike and Pam!
