Completely renovated in 2023 and only 20 miles from Sault Ste. Marie and the Soo Locks! Watch the Great Lakes freighters on the St. Mary's River. Our condos are located right next door to a small mom n' pop store complete with all the pantry items and perishables, souvenirs, and even fishing bait! The Cozy Corners Restaurant (with bar!) is one of the best in the area and has outdoor seating and dock for your boat (extra charge)! Conley Point DNR Boat Launch only 4 miles away. From boating, kayaking, and fishing to snowmobiling and ice fishing, Barbeau has it all ALL YEAR LONG! Lower level sleeps up to 6, upper unit is a separate unit (listing #3310447) and can sleep up to 10!

Comfy spot, hosts were very responsive and accommodating. Would 100% stay here again.

Pros: very clean, light, and open. Comfy sofas. Good visibility of down-bound ships (up-bound go behind the island out of sight). Great sliders, nice patio, table and chairs.Cons: Too much fragrance from plug-ins!!! My husband is sensitive to any fragrance and was miserable until we unplugged both of these and let it air out. Mattress was awful. We could feel all the springs! Shower was very small. Shower curtain liner was moldy on the bottom. Gross. Overall just felt kinda sterile and impersonal. No books, magazines, games, toys, puzzles. Wall decor was boring. All from the same designer and grouping.Suggestions: add coasters, refill salt shaker and paper towels (we only got one). Put a battery in the clock under the tv. Post a list of things to do before leaving. We forgot to empty the trash!

Rent the whole house or be prepared for noise

It's clean and updated. The kitchen is not very well appointed. I've stayed in lots of rentals. All have provided coffee and basic spices. None of that here. The only coffee is what I can imagine was left over from several guests ago. I assume they want you to buy from their resturant or the party store directly next door. There were no dish pods to use in the dishwasher and only the bare minimum of cooking utensils, pots and pans. Again, I think they want you over at the resturant they also own. We ate there twice, and I would say it was just OK. The view from the condo is of the resturant and it's driveway, NOT the water. You can see slivers of the river, and that's it. The back of the resturant has a terrific view, but the evening we went to enjoy a nice dinner, the local fishing club was having an awards ceremony. Not the owners fault, just wasn't what I hoped for. Back to the condo. the beds are SMALL. I don't think they even qualify as full size. We are not big people, and I could not sleep next to my husband. Luckily, there are two bedrooms, so I slept most of the nights in the other bed. The pillows are awful. Bring your own. Now, the real deal here is the noise. There were several guys staying above us, and we could hear every conversation, foot step, and music they played all weekend at all hours of the night. Like til 4 am.My recommendation is to skip this rental. I will not book here again.

Spacious lower level

Great to look out the windows and see a few of unobstructed water views in this location. Very spacious, relaxing, especially when upstairs level is empty but I can see it would be great for a very large family/friends to have both levels. The restaurant behind this place is A+ everytime, ate there 4 different times and also the pizza is excellent!

Cozy Condo

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Condo. It is so relaxing!! An added bonus is having the restaurant right off the patio. We will definitely be staying again.

Would stay again

Each floor of the house can be rented, we rented the whole thing for our family of 10. It’s very spacious and very clean. The beds were comfy and the shower pressure was good.The living rooms have a great view of the river. We ordered pizza from the bar/restaurant next door and it was really good. The food must be good there because the place was packed for lunch , dinner, and brunch on Sunday. There’s a party store next door too. We really enjoyed our stay, I bet it would be a lot of fun to stay for ice fishing season.

Cozy

Space as fantastic! Views amazing! The master bedroom could definitely use a bigger bed. There is little insulation to combate noice from upperstairs rental space. If it is occupied you will hear every movement. The smoke alarms are connected between the two units. The upper unit went off at 6 30 am and startled us awake on the lower unit.
