Cozy but spacious home along the Shenandoah River

Was very clean and well maintained, everything needed for a relaxing getaway near the Shenandoah National Park.

Great retreat from the city!

Perfect getaway!!! The property was absolutely gorgeous. Everything was clean and seemed brand new. The kitchen and bathrooms were really well done and had everything you need. Upstairs there are two sleeping areas to chose from and a large table for games or puzzles. The view of the river was fantastic. I really enjoyed sitting on the patio overlooking the river and relaxing by the fire pit The owner, Eddie, stopped by and started a fire for me in the evenings. It was a perfect weekend getaway from DC life!

Perfect weekend!!

We had the most incredible stay!! The house was the cleanest rental property we’ve ever stayed in and the setting was beautiful. I actually used the patio to propose to my now fiancé and Dana & Eddie were so accommodating and welcoming. We will 100% be back.

Peace, tranquility and relaxation!

I can’t say enough about our rental experience! We were looking for a relaxing escape, and this property was that and so much more! The hosts were extremely attentive and responsive. The property was clean, new, and comfortable. The riverside patio area was serene and beautiful. We highly recommend!

Complete paradise! We will return!!!

Clean and beautiful! New cabin had everything we could have wanted! The surrounding grounds were very well kept and had a well thought out plan! This place was created with their guests in mind. The built in waterfall and outdoor space was over the top!!! Home away from home without the stress. What a blessing! We are so thankful for such an amazing time!!!

Fabulous Property!

My husband and I visited VA to attend Parents Weekend at JMU, where our daughter is a freshman. The cottage was adorable and made for such a comfortable stay only 30 minutes away. It has every amenity you could want, beautifully appointed. The owner, Eddie, lives with his wife at a house also on the property, and he couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. The views from the cottage are breathtaking. Wish we could have spent more time enjoying the patio and view, but it was a busy weekend. We will definitely be returning - and will schedule in more time to just enjoy the property!!

Weekend Getaway

My wife and I just wanted to get away for the weekend to relax and celebrate our anniversary. This was a perfect little cabin to do just that. With amazing riverside views and a well thought out and designed outdoor area to truly enjoy the location.

Absolute Gem!

What a truly special place this is. The home is brand new and so well designed. It is equipped with everything you could possibly need for your stay. There are two bathrooms, a washer and dryer and kitchen with all the essentials. As lovely as the home is the real standouts are the outdoor patio overlooking the river and the owners. The view and patio are spectacular. We ran into a family emergency the weekend we booked our trip and the owners were so gracious and accommodating to our last minute changes. If you're looking for a beautiful spot to get away from it all, this is your spot!

Best Cabin Ever!

The hubby and I needed a getaway weekend away from the hectic reality. This cabin gave us all that and more. It was beautiful. The views, the grounds, the cabin…all were amazing. We fell asleep on the porch overlooking a family of deer in the water. We would definitely come back!!!

Perfect getaway!

If you need a relaxing getaway look no further you have found the perfect spot! We spent all day fishing and splashing around river and relaxing! Quite and peaceful great communication between hist staff and us! Owner even came down to introduce himself! We will definitely be back!

Magnificent!! The Perfect Place to Relax!

This cottage is EVERYTHING we were looking for! The owners paid attention to every detail to ensure our stay was perfect! This adorable cottage is extremely clean, fresh, and so nicely decorated! The owners are friendly and we really felt welcome! We love that the property is located on the bank of the Shenandoah River, right where eagles, chipmunks, and deer hang out! We grabbed our wine and sat by the fire in the evening on the gorgeous, waterside terrace you see in the photos. We were completely relaxed, just listening to the sounds of a night in the country. This is the place you need to come to if you need a break from your reality. We needed that break, and we are now recharged and ready to get back to our busy schedules. If you are JMU parents, or looking to visit several Virginia wineries, this cottage is located around 30 minutes from everything! And about 50 minutes to numerous hiking trails in the Shenandoah National Park! My husband and I have now found our go-to Retreat! We were sad to leave and can't wait to go back!

The property was beautiful, clean, and the hosts were very friendly and prompt if anything was needed. The property is much more beautiful in person than the pictures could ever show. Excellent amenities and the waterfall and river lounge area was breathtaking. Suggested restaurants were excellent choices from the hosts. The most relaxing vacation I have ever had.
