Our Shenandoah Riverfront Cabin is a hidden gem nestled in the Shenandoah Valley. This unique retreat boasts not only a warm, family-feel in the main, newly refurbished house, but a beautiful, private lot right on the river for those unwilling to trade privacy and spectacular views. As you stroll onto the back deck, you are greeted with amazing river views adorned by a spacious, private yard. Venture off the deck to enjoy the firepit and take the gentle, sloping stairs down to explore the riverside and mountain views. This B&B feels more like an escape and is perfect for those seeking both adventure and the content feeling of nature. It is the pure Shenandoah experience.

Newly renovated riverfront cabin in Shenandoah, Virginia, showcasing beautiful river and mountain views. Well-stocked kitchen and comfortable seating for 10 in all main areas. Owners use home as a family retreat, so everything is very well maintained with comfortable beds for your best sleep. Large decks, spectacular views on a private, double lot with a firepit and outdoor seating. Stair access to riverside with level shoreside into water. Located in a quiet neighborhood, perfect for walks (2-mile loop) and close to local attractions – fishing, tubing, kayaking, hiking in Shenandoah National Park, waterparks, breweries, wineries, shops, Luray caverns, Skyline, canopy tours, seasonal skiing, JMU/Harrisonburg and more! Massanutten is just 15 minutes away and boasts golfing and horseback riding too. JMU is a little under half an hour to campus.

Equipped with 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths. All mattresses are brand new and high quality for your comfort. All upstairs rooms have their own ductless air handlers to individually control temperatures to your liking. The lower level is all on central air. Upper level includes one King bedroom with private balcony overlooking property and river. The adjacent bedroom has two cozy Queen beds and includes toys/DVDs for entertainment. The third bedroom upstairs is multipurpose and includes a full pull-out bed. We also use this space for laundry and as a work-out area. There are free weights, a floor mat and resistance bands available for your use. The upstairs also features a full bath with double vanity sinks and a walk-in shower. Lower level includes another full bath with soaking tub and Queen bedroom with its own private deck access and river views. The family room comfortably seats 10 and has a pub table for games. The kitchen is well equipped for all your culinary needs, is gas range cooking and comfortably seats 10 people. There is an extra built-in space that we use for remote working and includes a monitor, keyboard and mouse if you must connect. Outside deck area and table seats 10 and has a great view of the river and a Weber propane grill. Additional camping chairs are stored outside under shelter for seating around the firepit and by the river.

Our guests have full access to the property, as well as the adjacent lot where the fire pit and river access are located. The double lot provides extra privacy and space for outdoor activities. There is plenty of parking and a wide driveway for ease of getting in/out of the premise. The shed has a side covered shelter that includes additional seating for the river side and firepit as well as some tubes. The stairs leading down to the river provide ease of access and the river front has level space to wade into the water, fish, swim or just relax. We also include a hammock and hammock chair (stored on shelf in kitchen) to use as well as river towels during your stay.

We provide fresh linens including bed sheets, bath towels, kitchen towels and river towels, should you need them. There are different types of coffee makers in the kitchen, including a Keurig/Latte combo, standard coffee pot, old fashion drip or French press. We provide coffee, tea and a variety of spices, sugar, flour, and oil/vinegars. Our family of 6 uses this home to retreat so we try to keep it well stocked and maintained for our guests to enjoy as much as we do.
