Great location

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location is great, overall the unit is nice. We did find other renters trash under the beds when checking to make sure we got all of our own stuff out (food wrappers, dirty socks, etc). Also noticed no fire extinguisher in unit. Something small would be nice since we did a lot of cooking. The unit itself was a great location and I appreciated the locks required to get in and out of the building. Aside from the cleanliness, which was not enough to deter us from coming back, a very nice rental

THE PLACE WAS NICE, BUT THE CONDO WAS NOT

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The building was very nice and the location was great. The actual condo unit that we stayed in was not good. I am not sure they had updated the place in 20 years. The appliances were very old, the laminate was coming off the countertops, the other units all had granite and were updated. Would definitely not rent unit 204 ever again as it is now- it is not worth the money, but we are renting a different unit in the same building next year.

Great beach vacation

Have stayed in Crimson # 204 in the past unit is showing it’s age. Countertops are coming apart , some areas in unit the paint is coming off the walls , still well maintained. Supplies provided by owner ,very sparse, very small amount of cleaning supplies, and toilet paper. Nothing else , no paper towels, tissue , napkins etc that many units provide or allow other renters to leave. People were smoking in parking area , advertised as non smoking property.

Had electric coils that didn’t sit flat. Veneer counters were buckling. Small TV in main area. No ice maker in fridge. Only had trays. Dishes and cooking utensils were lacking

The condo was very clean, well maintained and the beds are comfortable, but it was obvious that the whole condo needed updating and some of the furniture replaced.It was across the street from John's Pass which made it very convenient to walk to the shops and restaurants. We loved the access to the beach which was within steps of the condo. We had an issue with dusty plastic plants and vents. However, once we notified the office, someone was there within the hour to take care of it. I was impressed with the quick response.

Second bedroom, you can feel springs in mattress. Old stove, 1 burner not working. Just a few of the major things that NEED to be addressed as we would stay there again.

Loved our view.

The bed in the master bedroom was comfortable but the bed in the 2nd bedroom squeaked and was uncomfortable according to those staying in that room. We loved that we could walk to near by Restaurants and shops and we went deep sea fishing with Hubbard's across the street at John's Pass, which was awesome. Over all we had a wonderful vacation. The people at Sunhost are great and very helpful.

The countertop was peeling up in one area. The unit itself was not clean. There was mold in the bathrooms. The kitchen cabinets had stuff “running down” them, so they hadn’t been wiped down. The hall bathroom had two light bulbs that were burnt out. Our feet were black from walking around. The “required key” to get to the pool and beach is ridiculous and also a liability. If there was an emergency, and you didn’t have a key, someone could be really hurt or dead.

Reviewer Comments: We have rented two condos at the Crimson for several years. #203 has always been very well maintained but #204 is disappointing always! Two years ago I reported that the beds were terrible and the spread is disgusting. The furniture is so old that when we sit on the couch, it collapses. Two bar stools for four people and kitchen supplies are lacking. Two years later, nothing has changed. Very disappointing.

A somewhat bad experience

Our friends had already booked a unit and asked to join. The facility was nice and clean. Our unit was very outdated compared to our friends. Our toilets would barely flush upon our arrival. Then we had to call maintenance. They snaked it, and brought new towels. No housekeeping. It happened again one evening. No one could come that evening. We had to use our friends restroom and the smell of clogged toilets took over our entire unit! The plumber didn’t come till almost 3:00 the next day! He had to remove a toilet, still using a friends place for restroom and now showers. Once he replaced toilet no housekeeping ever came! There was poop in the floor and the smell was terrible. So for almost three days of our stay, the restrooms could not Be used. They apologized but that was it. Thank goodness we could use our friends facility that was on the same floor.
