New home in Hiouchi Ca. Within 7 miles you can hike in the redwoods, golf, visit ocean beaches in Crescent City, and visit the Smith River. A little farther and you can visit trees of mystery, Redwood state parks or venture up to Brookings Or. With fishing, hiking, swimming, beach combing, golfing, good restaurants you will have plenty to do. This beautiful new house is roomy and comfortable with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and a large covered back porch, 2 large screen tv’s and WiFi.

Our family of 6 absolutely loved staying here; if I could relocate I'd buy this house! Close to the city for shopping; literally in the redwood forest. Everything was perfect; our favorite features of this house were the master bath shower and walk out to the back patio from the master bedroom.

A very nice property with easy access to the Redwoods. We liked the artwork in the house. Quiet neighborhood with a nice yard for relaxing.

Nature and modern amenities, balanced nicely

We had a great time! It was far enough out of town to enjoy nature, yet had all the comforts of home (comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen, Wi-Fi, and proximity to town for essentials). We really enjoyed exploring the Redwoods in the day and coming back to the house to relax in comfort at night. Thanks for a great stay!

Relaxing in the Redwoods

Our stay was the perfect retreat we needed after an incredibly busy beginning to our year. The house is very private. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms and kitchen were supplied with everything you could need. The National Forest and the coast were an easy drive away. It rained for half of our stay, but we made good use of the beautiful new stove, washer and dryer, piano and games. If we ever are needing accommodations in Crescent City, this will be our first choice.

Gem in the Forest

Very pleasant stay with a forest in your backyard and close to the river. A short drive to the city center. Peaceful and serene atmosphere, perfect respite from day of activities. House was spacious and had all amenities needed. Check-in and check-out instructions were clear and the host was very responsive. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Comfortable and Peaceful Stay in the Woods

The house has everything that you need and was clean and comfortable! Tucked in a wooded neighborhood that was close to Jedidiah State park as well as beaches. It was a very relaxing stay.

Perfect home, perfect location, perfect host!

We had an absolutely incredible time at this house. The house is beautiful, comfortable, spotless, well-appointed, and is nestled in a lovely quiet neighborhood surrounded by trees. It's just enough inland that you get better weather but it's still very easy to get into town for shopping, dining, etc. There are SO MANY beautiful hiking trails and swimming holes within just a few minutes drive, we were completely overwhelmed by the choices and instantly regretted not booking a longer stay.

Perfect Location

We only stayed 2 nights as part of a long road trip but would have loved to stay longer. The location is a perfect base camp to some of the best Redwood forest hikes and lazy days on the river. Comfortably slept 4 adults and 2 teenagers. Location is nestled back on the property, is quiet and feels private even though there are some houses nearby. Highly recommended!!!!

Immaculate, beautiful, and well-stocked home in the woods

Lovely rural neighborhood close to redwoods and the ocean. The house will exceed your expectations in every way--roomy, gorgeous wood on the furniture, attractive pictures on the walls, etc. I can't recommend it enough.
