Cute newly-renovated apartment in great location. 2B/1Ba and futon in living room, all decorated in an industrial modern style featuring art inspired by Louisiana. 2 off-street parking spaces in carport. Backyard access and pets welcome.
-Walking distance: pharmacy, gas station, supermarket, coffee, restaurants, bars, shops, parks.
-5 min drive: Oschner-LSU Health, Centenary College
-10 min drive: LSU Campus, Willis-Knighton Pierremont, downtown
-15 min drive: Airport, Barksdale Airforce Base

South Highlands is the most historic neighborhood in Shreveport. Close to everything and perfect for families and young professionals. Enjoy being able to walk to pharmacy and convenience stores, delicious restaurants, interesting shops and beautiful parks.
Please note that the home is located on a busy street, so you can expect some traffic noise mainly during the day.
Mattresses are zinus green tea mattresses, which are firm.

Great stay in Shreveport

My husband and I came to Shreveport for our daughter's graduation. This property was perfect for two people. The apartment was clean and had everything you would need. Check in the easy. If you have difficulty with stairs, this place is not for you. The beds were comfy, and the shower was divine! We plan to book there again when we return for a visit.

A week with daughter. Study break.

What a great visit with our daughter on beak between her Master’s classes. We nested in the beautiful rental, visited over coffee and treats. for her belated birthday celebration. The apartment was beautifully decorated and supplied, fitting our every need. Check in was assisted with southern graciousness, as all interactions with our host. Thank you.

Great Location, property needs maintenance.

The location of the residence is fantastic, so convenient to anything you really are looking to do in Shreveport. The apartment itself was clean, but needs some serious TLC. Missing curtains, cabinet doors that fall off, burned out lightning, and an AC that is struggling. The host was prompt about the AC and attempted to rectify the situation. I think the place would just benefit from someone taking time to make the necessary repairs.

Welcoming

This was a lovely over garage apartment. The hosts provided a variety of comforts including the sun-filled bathroom with its skylight, the warm, comfy bed, and a thermostat control. The hosts were very friendly and great to work with as they were prompt to respond to any questions I had. The location is great if you're going to explore the area as it's centrally located in the Bossier/Shreveport area. Basics are also easily picked up from very close grocery, convince, and drugstore locations. As an added bonus, I was able to meet the owner's large but friendly dog. Wasn't the same as my own dog, but it did help my mood to get and give a bit of doggie lovin'. I would definitely consider this location again in the future. Low-key, relaxed, and comfortable stay.
