The space was wonderful! Very clean and spacious. We especially enjoyed the faux fireplace in the evening while we watched movies. Larry and Joyce were very communicative and gave great recommendations for local spots. We hope to stay again soon, and highly recommend booking this space!

This is the 2nd time I’ve stayed here and I really enjoyed my stay. The place is walkable to everything you need from the grocery store, pharmacy, restaurants and bars. The place had all the amenities I needed for our stay. We cooked a full Thanksgiving meal and the place was cozy for us to spend time with our son who lives in Arcata. The host was very communicative and accommodating as well.

We highly recommend this apartment! It was very clean and comfortable, and the perfect location to explore Arcata and surrounding areas for a few days. Easy walk to restaurants and shops. And right around the corner from the wonderful Friday Night Market and Farmers' market on Saturday. Great communication with the host. Thank you!!

Downtown Arcata

We spent a week here, a respite from the Arizona summer heat. The check-in process was super easy. Off street parking was available, our car steps away from the door.We’ve never stayed close to a Downtown area like this. The location was perfect to explore different excellent restaurant offerings, coffee shops, the wonderful farmers market on Saturday, and getting to know the local shopkeepers.Larry was very responsive with our occasional questions and the space was very quiet and peaceful despite close the proximity to the town square. Redwood Community Park with it’s hiking and biking trails is minutes away.

Very lovely stay!

This place was a lovely place to stay in; very clean, well taken care of, nicely decorated and a really comfy bed! We walked the two blocks to the Farmer's Market at the Plaza and it was centrally located for where we wanted to go. We really enjoyed our stay.

We were in town for the 35th Annual Oyster Festival. 2 block walk to the town square with multiple restaurant options. Safeway was also a two block walk away.Host was extremely gracious. You won’t go wrong with this property and location

Close to lots that Arcata has to offer. Comfortable lodging, quiet, with lots within walking distance. We spent daily hikes in the Community Forest.

My Other Home

Everything that was promised was delivered. The apartment was perfectly situated for a walking vacation. Everything I needed was available at downtown markets, stores, and cafes. The Arcata Marsh, my favorite spot, was only about 4 blocks away. I stayed a whole month. The price was affordable and the weather cooperated most of the time. My friends had no trouble finding me if they came to pick me up.

Excellent Downtown Apartment!

We were thoroughly pleased with everything the apartment had to offer. Comfy and cozy furniture, great linens and the gas fireplace is a nice touch. Also a very convenient location close to the main downtown shopping/dining area.Also a shout out to Larry, the host, for being exceptionally helpful! Always available to answer any questions in short order. We will definitely consider this apartment the next time we come to Arcata!

Cozy and comfortable, good location.

My husband and I stayed here to visit family. The place was clean, welcoming, and the bed was amazingly comfortable. So comfy, that we decided we needed to buy a new bed for home. The host was kind and very helpful. The apartment is within walking distance of shopping, dinning, and community events. Instructions for check-in were clear and easy, and the host took care of everything during check out (empty trash, cleaning bedding/towels, etc.) I recommend this stay and hope it’s available for our next trip up to Arcata.
