This is a great property, very well equipped kitchen. It feels as if you are staying at a friend’s house. The location is lovely. I really enjoyed my stay. Will definitely come back

Great Property

We loved having separate spaces. The pool was great after a day at the beach. We also loved sitting on the front porch watching the sun set.

Amazing property

This property was a wonderful place to stay. Not only has 3 amazing fully equipped houses, it also has a brand new swimming pool. Short walk to Buyé beach. The sunset views over the beach were amazing and conveniently seen from all the multiple balconies. My family loved it and we will definitely stay there again. A place that you’ll never want to leave.

Beautiful and peaceful

Amazing property! Beautiful views, peace and quiet. We liked being close to the beach (3-5min walk), but also loved having the pool in case we wanted to go for a late night swim. Carmen was very easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend to others!

The Place was more than expected. Our experience was awesome. The host was Great and very welcoming and friendly. The Privacy was top notch. Everyone was very friendly. Rafi who takes care of the property on a Daily basis was the Best of all . He knows his way around every where. He knows where to go to have a great time. He pointed out restaurants, places and how to get there and the best time to go. Great Human being. We definitely are coming back.

Time of our lives!

Its 3 big separate house on one compound, 6min walk to the beach with an amazing pool and oceanviews. Ms.Carmen was an amazing host helping with check in and giving wonderful advice on the area. We encountered a hurricane and blackout which did not derail our trip as the grounds keeper Raphy was very tentive and kept the power on with a generator. The memories shared here will be cherised for a lifetime. We highly recommend this house for a fMily vacation.

Most Amazing stay

Where do i start? 1. Carmen property manager what a pleasure to have her, she was so welcoming and so sweet. 2. Place was amazing from size of pool to how beautiful and clean place is, it was so accommodating to our family of 10, everyone had their own house and own space where it felt like everyone had privacy. My kids enjoy it so much they didnt want to leave. Its def wont be our last, had so many memories. Its def worth it from walking to the beach, to local bar and restaurant.. we had a blast!!!

My husband, daughter, her. 3 young children & husband were booked to stay but no booking info was sent & on the night we were to arrive we were informed it wasn’t open. This put us in danger, although we found a place to stay.VRBO got in touch days later to ask how they could help. Pathetic.

Te best weekend ever!!

We stayed for the whole Boquerón pride fest in “la Locura” i have been attending the event for the past 7 years in a row and i have never been so glad to have stayed at a weekend booking for pride, as i have had here at “la locura”. So peaceful, refreshing, welcoming and convenient. I want to say it was horrible experience just so people won’t book it before me lol, but i have to bee honest. IF ITS AVAILABLE BOOK IT NOW! It’s amazing and the manager makes you feel so welcomed and part of the family, always attentive and caregiving if I could give 20 star I would. Better than any local hotel or airb&b it truly is a mansion. Thank you Sra. Montero i can’t wait for our next family gathering at “la Locura” God Bless you and your family.

Cabo Rojo Compound

We stayed for my 40th birthday. Let me just say the host Carmen is so great! She waited until we arrived late for check-in. She even went above and beyond showed us to downtown area next to the house. There are lights in the pool for at night. Which is not listed but everyone loved them. She has seasonings in the kitchens utensils everything you need you could think of so check before going shopping. The beach is literally right around the corner walking distance from the compound. Each house has its own key for extra privacy if necessary. There is gate keys for this property so it is gated for safety. If your having second thoughts don’t think too much this was it. We had a blast nobody wanted to go home! I definitely will be back in the near future. Definitely super nice people and Carmen will answer you very promptly.

Relaxing at La Locura

The three houses were perfect for our three generations ranging in age from 14-66. The houses had everything we needed & more. We felt safe & secure the entire trip with gated road & driveway. Air conditioning worked well in the sleeping areas each night. I call them sleeping areas because not all are technically rooms. In two of the houses there are rooms that have two separate sleeping areas but no doors to close for privacy which might prove tricky for some families/groups. Pool was clean & refreshing. The walk to & from the pool is up/down the very steep driveway (no stairs). The design of the windows was great for cross breezes all day & night. The birds start chirping at 3am so I’d recommend bringing ear plugs. The views from the balcony in each house is amazing. Playa Buye is a short 5 minute walk and is beautiful. It is however a VERY popular beach. On Saturday & Sunday there are hundreds of cars up and down the road and we didn’t even attempt to find a spot at the beach as it’s already a somewhat narrow sand area. The beach also seems to have no closing time & one night we could hear extremely loud music until after 1am. The property is equipped with a generator which was greatly appreciated as the power went out around dinner time a few nights. Overall we had a fantastic stay & the things that were not so ideal like loud noises and traffic are completely out of the homeowners control.

We traveled as 3 families and rented all three houses, which worked out very well for our group. It was nice to have separate spaces for each family while still being able to gather together in the main house. The pool was beautiful, clean, and refreshing—a favorite spot for both the adults and the kids.The main house has a spacious family room with air conditioning, which was great for relaxing together. The bedrooms in the main house were also large, comfortable, and private. However, the rest of the first floor of the main house and the other two houses (first floor) do not have air conditioning. Even with the ceiling fans and windows open, it could get quite warm at times.One thing is that the bedrooms in the two smaller houses are connected without doors separating them. Adding some type of room divider along with blackout curtains, would make sleeping even more comfortable.Overall, the positives far outweigh the negatives. The location near Playa Buyé, the beautiful pool, and the layout for large groups made this a great place to stay. We would definitely rent these properties again and would recommend them to other large families or groups traveling together.

We stayed at this property from June 15–22 and overall had a wonderful experience. The location was excellent—just a short walk to the beach and very close to several great restaurants and attractions. The house was spacious and provided plenty of room for our family and guests to stay comfortably.The pool was one of the highlights of our stay. It was well-sized, enjoyable, and provided a great place to relax after spending time at the beach. The property itself is beautiful and has a lot to offer.The only area that needs improvement is the cleanliness. While the home is lovely, it would benefit from a deep cleaning and attention to detail in some areas.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property for its location, space, amenities, and beautiful setting.
