Welcome to the penthouse at AWA and prepare to be spoiled! From the moment you walk through the front door to your two story penthouse, you will be impressed by the attention that's been placed on preparing every space. As you walk past the open concept kitchen, you'll first notice the custom counters where you'll see 4 stools at the sit up counter. This will be a perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine while your loved one prepares a gourmet meal. If you don't feel like cooking, let us organize a private chef to come in and create a mouth watering dish using fresh, local ingredients. The extra cupboard space, oversized fridge and all the appliances you can need are just a few of the added touches made with you in mind. For a more formal meal, there is a dining table for 6 steps away from the kitchen.

The living space has oversized sofas, custom distressed wood furniture and a flat screen TV to relax after a long day. Open the 4 panel, floor to ceiling patio doors in order to let in the beautiful carribean breeze and create a wonderful indoor/outdoor space. Step outside onto the large terrace where you'll find a great sitting space perfect for a good book or evening cocktail watching the sunset. The terrace has great views of the common areas below including the largest pool in Playa del Carmen along with lush greenery.

The primary bedroom is just off the living area and boasts a king sized bed, lots of closet space and an attached full bathroom with walk-in shower. Take a moment to notice the custom wood accents and extra storage space to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The primary bedroom also has direct access to the terrace and a large sunbed, perfect for a midday nap.

The second bedroom is near the front of the condo which provides some distance and privacy between the two sleeping spaces. This bedroom has two double (matrimonial) beds, a work desk, as well as lots of closet space. A shared full bathroom with custom counters and walk-in rain shower finish the space nicely and an inviting space for guests to use.

Now comes the showstopper of this property. Use the well lit staircase to access your private rooftop terrace. One of the largest you'll find, the rooftop will be sure to impress as words (or pictures) do not do it justice. First, there is another sitting area with a sofa and two armchairs covered by a pergola to give you a touch of shade. Head over to the two lounge chairs for full sun and to work on your tan. Take special note of the extra space between each element on the rooftop so as to create individual, intimate spaces ready for your enjoyment. For a special lunch or moonlite dinner, a wooden dining table and oversized chairs occupies a nook near the back of the terrace. A half bathroom has been added for your convenience which is just off the dining space. For those that enjoy a good BBQ, you'll find a charcoal grill and lots of counter space for you to lay out your creations! The last and most impressive part of this space is the private rooftop pool that is just for you and your group. Overlooking the common area below, enjoy a cold refreshment while basking in the beautiful Caribbean sunshine. This is the perfect place to spend lazy afternoons cooling off and making memories that will surely last a lifetime. As you can see in the pictures, the balcony fence is made of glass. If you bring kids, they should always be supervised on this area.

It is located in Playa del Carmen's most exclusive area, Playacar Phase 2. This is an extremely safe, gated community with direct beach access. The neighborhood is a mix of private villas and high end condo buildings.

AWA is well located being only a short walk to the beach, a quick cab ride to 5th avenue shopping, restaurant and bars, as well as central to all of the excursions you may want to do. There is a convenience store directly across the street where you can purchase snacks, basic groceries, drinks and some alcoholic beverages. Sam's club, Sorianas, and City Club are a few larger grocery stores that are just a few minutes away.

Although you can walk to most places in Playa del Carmen, a taxi ride is very inexpensive and an easy way to get around. If you prefer to rent a car, we can help organize this on your behalf to make the entire process much easier!

● ** Electricity costs are extremely high in Mexico. It is already included in the payment of your stay, however, we always recommend responsible use of electricity, especially AC.**

● Please notice we only provide bottled water (500ml), toilet paper, paper towels and dish soap at arrival, after that you must buy as you need. We provide 1 bath towel and 1 beach towel per person on the reservation.

●The cleaning fee you pay, only includes the cleaning and disinfection of the property before and after your reservation. Additional cleaning/change of linen and towels has an extra fee.

● You will be asked to use a bracelet during your stay. Please follow the complex rules.

● This is a smoke free property. Any smoking in the property may result in an additional cleaning fee.
