Enjoy this 3-bedroom, 2- full baths cabin with forest views. 2 new decks built this year and new flooring.The rustic comfy interior has 2 fireplaces, fully equipped kitchen and laundry room. Just 3 miles to Ski Cloudcroft and the Village of Cloudcroft down the road. 4 wheel drive vehicles recommended.

Quirky, rustic, old basic cabin. This place felt safe and comfy. Pet friendly and good location. Host was great to work with. This place is very basic but worked well for what we needed.

Cabin was great. Fenced area for our dog. Host was communicative. Easy check in and check out. We will definitely stay here again. Has room for our growing family.

The cabin is charming! There is one bedroom and one bathroom on the main floor. Upstairs has 2 bedrooms, and a family room with 3 additional beds, a bathroom and a porch. Everything was clean and comfortable. We were a party of 6: grandma, 3 young adult children, my husband and I. Everyone was able to find a spot to hang out in. The kitchen is well stocked, and we were able to prepare most of our meals there with no issue. The owner was quick to respond to our questions. The cabin was filled with charming treasures and decor. We spent a lot of time on the lower back porch watching the birds and deer. The owner supplied bird food which kept the birds coming! Sure beat the heat of Texas! I hope we can return.

Well stocked and equiped cabin.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Easy to find, good location, easy checkin and check out. We had everything we needed available to us.

We absolutely loved it, very secluded, quiet place. Didn't want to leave, a little drive to Ruidoso, very close to cloudcroft town, I have nothing negative to say, everything positive.

Great location

Cabin is well furnished and in a great location. It was located just a few minutes drive from Ski Cloudcroft, about 10 minutes from downtown. It worked out out well for a spring break getaway with kids and grandparents. Only one bedroom downstairs, and rest are upstairs, just be advised if you have anyone on trip who has difficulty climbing stairs. We will definitely rebook this cabin on a return trip!

Relaxing and perfect getaway

The cabin was even better than we expected, with loads of character. The covered deck nestled in the trees was perfect for morning coffee, and the outdoor grill was great for evening meals. Lots of hiking nearby in Cloudcroft, with vistas to White Sands. We enjoyed playing games on the large dining table and the host was responsive and friendly. The cabin was clean with plenty of amenities and we hope to be back. We especially appreciated the fenced area off the one side of the deck where our golden retriever could endlessly play fetch.

Roy was awesome! He followed all the rules, left cabin so clean you could hardly tell anyone even stayed there, washed the towels and was the perfect guest. We would welcome him back anytime!! Thanks Roy!

I can’t say more about our stay. The host was great and communicated with us throughout the whole process. They even let us borrow sleds for the White Sands. The neighborhood was wonderful. Our family went on walks around the neighborhood every day. Check in was seamless. Cloudcroft is only ten minutes away at most. The cabin had everything we needed and more. From movies and WiFi, to the stocked pantry, to the coffee pot and dishes, our family had it all. Wonderful vacation we’ll never forget.

Cozy mountain getaway

This cabin was exactly what we were hoping for in this trip to the mountains. The place has a rustic, cabin feel but is very well maintained with modern amenities. Our kids were ecstatic to see the upstairs with enough room for all five of them to have their own bed and their own world up there. The several outdoor patios offered a stunning view of the mountains. There was not as much open space around the cabin as I hoped, but the kids had a wonderful time exploring the grounds around and had enough room to play in the woods. We felt cared for in this family cabin that has clearly been well loved over the years and hope to return.

The whole cabin was extremely clean, well stocked with everything needed in the kitchen and restrooms. The host was friendly and easy to communicate with. He was prompt with his responses. We had one miscommunication, which was my fault, not his; however, he even tried to compensate for that! We did not accept, but appreciate his willingness to accommodate us any way he could. Thank you to our host, for sharing his beautiful cabin with us!
