Welcome to the newly renovated Manatee Manor! With room for up to 10 guests and even furry friends under 75 pounds (with a pet fee), this haven is just steps from the bay, offering easy access to local beaches and all the area has to offer. Perfect for your next family escape!

Calling all outdoor enthusiasts! At Manatee Manor, enjoy parking for six cars, a fenced yard, outdoor shower, fire pit, basketball, tetherball, giant connect four, and horseshoes. It's the ultimate blend of relaxation and recreation!

Indoors, the lower level boasts a game room with a wet bar, laundry, and a half bath. Entertainment options include bumper pool, pinball, a Ninja Turtle arcade, and a TV. Kids of all ages can enjoy the cozy space with a futon and bunk overhead. The wet bar, equipped with a full-sized fridge, caters to any grocery overflow. Sliding glass doors lead to the lower deck and fenced side yard, enhancing the indoor-outdoor living experience.

Heading upstairs, you'll find two large decks and a screened porch. The sunroom has a dining table, game shelf, and space for twin beds. In the great room, there's a cozy living area with a large TV and plenty of seating. Three bedrooms are up here: one with a bunk bed and a chair that turns into a twin, another with a queen bed, and the master with a queen bed, adjustable frame, and French doors to a private deck with bay views. There's a full bath and a half bath for convenience, and smart TVs in every bedroom for streaming your favorite shows!

PLEASE NOTE: Beach toys and chairs are provided for guest use. Keep in mind that linens and towels are not included, so bringing your own or renting locally is recommended. For cozy evenings by the fire pit, guests should bring their own firewood.

This house was great for our family from the second we walked in. From the arcade games, pool table, and the outdoor scene, it was perfect for all ages. You are three houses back from the beach and it is an easy walk getting to the beach.The homeowner will stay in great comminication with you and will take care of your needs. Read the dedcription when booking as you need to bring bedding, towels, etc but this is communicated so this should not be an issue for you.To sum up our stay we wouldnt have done anything different and it was a great place for our kids. Thank you!!

This place has a wonderful layout. The porches are spacious and accommodating for all weather conditions. It is a real bonus to have a fenced side yard for a dog, you can easily watch them from the deck. My dog loved sitting on the deck and watching the neighborhood. You can see and hear the beach from the master bedroom. The game room is a fun addition. Although we didn't really need the extra space. My elderly mother who lives in Lewes enjoyed the beach walks and shell collecting. It is a quiet, laidback community. We hope that the store will continue under new ownership. They should add a bicycle rental. We brought our roomba to keep on top of sand management. Wifi works great on the upper floor.

Awesome fall trip!This was our third time staying at Manatee Manor and it was just as great as we remembered. Lisa is super easy to communicate with and made everything smooth. The house was clean, comfy, and perfect for the two of us and our pups. Loved the fenced yard and relaxing on the deck. Broadkill is so quiet and peaceful—great spot to unwind and listen to the waves. Plus, it’s close to our favorite places like Dogfish Brewery, Nassau Winery and Woody’s. Perfect as always - looking forward to our October trip to your other house in Broadkill.

House was lovely. The ocean/beach/Bay Area was so beautiful and relaxing. We loved the close access to the beach and the fenced in area for our dog. We definitely recommend.

My wife and I enjoyed our trip here! Quiet location and great fishing and crabbing! We fished right off the beach! Only thing to remember is bring some bug spray! Thank you again!

Very nice, large property within easy walking distance to the beach. The house was clean and had more than enough room for us to spread out and enjoy. The kitchen was well-equipped and, overall, it was a very comfortable place to stay.The house had lots of amenties - plenty of TVs, game room downstairs, lovely screened-in porch and it was located in the very quiet Broadkill Beach - which was what we were looking for.It's located near the Prime Hook Wildlife Preserve, which is an added bonus.If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful escape to the beach, then this place will fit the bill nicely. We would definitely rent here again!

Relaxing Easter

Myself, husband, five year old son, and eight year old daughter had an awesome time at Manatee Manor. We happened to have great weather and spent time on the beach on three different occations in April! The kids were happy with the amenities with them in mind. Would recomend to famlies!

Great long weekend

My family’s (husband, two daughters ages 9 and 12, and our pup) stay was great! The pictures don’t do the house justice and we were in love from the moment we stepped in the door. We loved all the gathering spaces available, and the amenities present. Lisa and her family have activities for all ages, and the place is very family friendly. My big kids enjoyed playing with the puppets and arcade games, and there are tons of toys, board games, books, etc.All of the fixtures were modern and the decor was calming and beachy. It was just what we were looking for. The fenced in yard was a huge plus for us with our dog, and the beach itself was awesome. There’s a bit of a drop from the dunes to the water right now, but we went down with our dog and walked along the beach just fine. The people we met who also have places in the neighborhood were friendly and gave recommendations for places to visit in Milton and nearby. We would totally stay here again, and we’re happy to have found a quiet home where we could hang as a family and spend some quality time.

Fall birthday getaway

Beach House for All Ages

The beach house was wonderful. Superb layout with various porches for any weather. The rooms and bathrooms were perfect. The bunkbed was a hit for the grandkids who dropped by on the first Saturday. We didn’t use the game room much but it was fun. The fenced side yard helped manage late night walkies. A real star. You can even sea the ocean from the master bedroom.

Fall Getaway

Just what we needed for a quick fall getaway. We enjoyed our repeat stay at the Manatee Manor and Lisa is a very accommodating, communicative host. The house was clean and spacious and the perfect fit for 2 adults and 2 dogs. It had everything we needed. Just like we remembered from our stay last year. Perfectly situated near our favorite Delaware stops, Dogfish Brewery, Woody’s and Nassau Winery. The outside fenced in yard was perfect for the dogs We took advantage of the large screened and unscreened deck in the day & evening . Because Broadkill is so quiet and laidback it is a great place to sit and listen to the waves. Perfect location. We love taking off season vacations to the shore. Lisa, thanks again for everything and I’m sure we’ll be reaching out again next year

Being from Dover, Delaware Broadkill Beach isn't far away so we spend a lot of spare time in the area. As a busy family of four we are always on the go but when we come to Broadkill Beach the world slows down a little and we get to spend quality time together making memories. We love sharing our home with guests so they can experience Broadkill Beach and all the area has to offer!

Our family discovered Broadkill Beach several years ago and have been hooked ever since. We love it for the "old fashioned" summer feel. Our kids love riding their bikes to the store to get a treat after dinner or a donut that is still warm on the weekend. There is a sense of community here that you don't find in so many of the larger beach towns.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The house sits on a double lot which offers more outside space to play and a fenced yard for the dogs. This house truly has something for everyone young and old. There is a game room with wet bar on the first floor that all ages can enjoy. The out door area with fire pit, basket ball, tether ball, horseshoes and giant connect 4 is perfect after a day at the beach. The deck and screened in porch space is perfect for morning coffee or unwinding in the evening. The screened porch lets you be outside even if it is raining or the bugs are pesky.
