Río Alafia de la Florida escapada

Esto sería unas mini vacaciones divertidas y divertidas en el histórico río Alafia nombrado por los indios hace años; Alafia que significa "Río de Fuego".

El estudio de la planta baja: piso de baldosas blancas con decoración exclusiva, l6 pies de espacio de guardarropas con puertas de espejo, todos los electrodomésticos nuevos y encimeras de granito. Tiene una pequeña playa de arena artificial en la mitad de la propiedad y una divertida cabaña en el otro lado para su cóctel favorito, etc. Esta unidad incluye una lavadora y secadora.


Hay 3 lugares en el río a solo minutos de distancia que ofrecen música en vivo, karaoke, comida y diversión. Hay un alquiler de pontones justo al otro lado del río que puede usar para visitar los tres puntos calientes, o ir al manantial local río arriba (muy popular entre los locales los fines de semana). Salir a la Bahía de Tampa (a pocos minutos de la casa), es una isla de playa de arena popular donde puede varar su bote y disfrutar de una reunión con otros navegantes.

great spot !

truly a lovely spot on the Alafia river. A great place to stay. An accommodating host. I'm torn about telling too much so It's available to return to , and not telling enough, because the stay was awesome! Enjoy your time there, but save me some space because I'm going back.1

River View Hide Away

Directly in Alifia River. Saw a Porpoise and many birds. Near I-75 traffic for a constant din but ok. Can quickly get to downtown Tampa on US Rte 41 and down to Ruskin area on same. Rental is great. Supplied with cooking necessities and a wine cork remover!!

Tranquility and Beauty

The condo is awesome! The view is amazing! The owner is spectacular! We rented the condo at the last minute and did not meet the minimum required stay, no problem. Candice was one the those special people that come into your life and you hope never goes away. She even provided me with a cat (Willow) to love and take care of when she found out how badly I was missing my own babies! The condo is everything and more. It is beautifully furnished and decorated, but not so much that you need to worry about breaking some thing or having a place to put your own stuff. The kitchen was a dream. New appliances, sharp knives (very rare for a rental property), good pots and pans (never in a rental), nice dishes and plenty of them. A cooks dream while on vacation. The bedroom had a nice bed that actually adjusted for TV watching or just drinking morning coffee and enjoying the view of the river through the double glass patio doors. Plenty of closet and drawer space for storage of your clothes and vacation goodies. Another plus was the blackout curtains across both patio doors, feel free to sleep late! No 6 am sunrise alarm clock. The living area was just as nice. very comfortable with a coffee table for casual dining again with a view through patio doors and black out curtains. The backyard was like a fairy tail. Beautifully decorated with views of the river 20 foot away. At night the yard came alive with solar lights and whimsical lit up flowers. There were several choices of seating with tables so you could always find shade a few feet away. We spent most mornings drinking coffee and watching the boats on the river. Their is ample dock-age and parking if you choose to bring a boat. I finally got up the courage to jump in the river for a swim, no problem getting back out from a platform or ladder on the pier. There are so many great things to say about this property and the owner it is hard to write about. We rented 4 properties through VRBO over a 5 week period all lived up to our expectations but this far exceeded them! We really were not planning another trip to Florida and won't go back to the Keys, but we are already talking about returning here next year with our boat. It is a short 5 to 10 minutes to the gulf and fishing is excellent. I simply can't say enough great tings about Riverview and the surrounding area. I dug up some of her Bird of Paradise plants, they are on my deck, I smile each time I look at them and think of Candice. A true Gem!

Sandy and Michael, Thank you for your review response. I feel blessed that you were led to the Alafia River Getaway. The two of you were and are a delight to get to know. I am certainly looking forward to your return visit. I hope next time you come, you can stay longer and I am sure, Willow wishes you would were still here. I also hope next time you visit that you will bring the boat and catch the big ones in Tampa Bay and in the Alafia River. It sure was amazing looking at the pictures of all the fish you and Mike have caught. I am glad you are enjoying the bird of Paradise plants. Relaxing vacation.

My husband and I were very satisfied with our stay in Riverview, Florida in March of 2022. We were close to friends, shopping, cinema, restaurants or we could just sit on the patio and watch the activity on the river. Our hostess, Candace was very nice and very accommodating. We would be very open to returning next year.

Wonderful stay

The owner was fabulous. She was very reachable with any questions or concerns and did everything she could do to make our stay enjoyable. It was in a great location. The river was wonderful! I would highly recommend this rental.

Quick weekend get away

Our hostess was a delight and the accomdations were comfortable and clean. The property itself needs a little tender loving care. It was a beautiful location on the river, but there was a lot of stuff laying around the yard.

Lovely Thanksgiving Retreat

great spot

Really sweet property on the river - very welcoming backyard set up with lots of seating and tiki bar. It was perfect for what we needed. Unfortunately we were in meetings most of the time and not able to enjoy sitting out back much, but the unit was thoughtfully stocked with everything you'd need and was just perfect for our needs.

Wonderful

We had a wonderful time and Candice is a perfect host! We didn’t have time to go to the store our first day there and Candice brought us some eggs, butter, water bananas and protein drinks.. She was so nice and went above and beyond on everything to make us feel comfortable!!! We will definitely be back!

Peacful and quiet

I stayed here for a long weekend, and everything was exactly as pictured in the listing. The view of the river is breathtaking and we sat on the dock quite a lot! I'll definitely be coming back (maybe much sooner than later!).

A little slice of paradise.

It is a gorgeous setting. I was stranded in the area and Candice was kind enough to allow me to stay at her place for a couple of weeks. Spending the mornings on her dock with the fish jumping out of the river and the birds gliding inches above the water was extremely relaxing. But the piece de resistance was when several dolphins swam by 5 feet from the end of her dock. I wish I hadn't had to leave.

Great riverfront retreat

Awesome riverfront location with great views. Quiet dead end street made it very serene. Had a great stay for a couple of nights. Very clean. Property owner lives on site and was very helpful.

I purchased this property as I love the water and boating activities. It is centerally located and close to Tampa, Brandon, and Sarasota area.

Boating, fishing, shopping, and close to Downtown Tampa, Brandon, Apollo Beach, Ruskin Beach and 60 miles from one of the World's Top Ten beaches in the world which is Sieta Key Beach in Sarasota, Fl. There are many golf courses in the surrounding area, Malls for shopping, within 4 to 5 miles a nice grocery store and within 10 to fifteen minutes of restaurants of all types in Riverview, Gibsonton, Brandon, Apollo Beach-Circles Marina Restaurant, and Ruskin, etc. So much to do and a perfect place to stay!
