We loved our stay. Wonderful location and the house was quiet, comfortable, and well maintained and stocked for our trip. Would highly recommend. The hosts responded to my messages within minutes and were very helpful with recommendations for the area, too.

The Host answered all our questions.The house is older and could use some paint on the interior but it’s very secluded and private.The 5 bedrooms and the nice game room were a plus.

Saddleback Retreat has so many positive amenities! We spent hours in the game room. The nightly hot tub and cozy fire pit were wonderful after a day of hiking. The bed and bathrooms were generally clean. The communication with the host was quick and responsive. However, the kitchen cleanliness was disappointing—we had to spend time cleaning the stove, oven, refrigerator, and surfaces, and didn’t feel comfortable using the cookware. We used our own. Walmart was close and we were able to get what we needed. Extra towels and blankets would have been appreciated. Extra cleaning/maintaining of the kitchen would go a long way to making this a perfect stay.

We had a great stay overall. We had a tree fall across the road during our stay right at the base of the drive and our hosts had a neighbor out with a chainsaw in less than 30 minutes- amazing!

Relaxing wildlife

Nice and secluded location that is within minutes of shopping and food. Game room, hot tub and firepit were awesome. Saw many deer on the property and one small black bear. Would definitely recommend.

Great location, perfect for families

We were 15 minutes from all of our park and rafting adventures. The game room and fire pit were perfect hang out locations for us while we were at the house.

We had so much fun at the house, between the firepit and all the games. Very close to town and many attractions at the Gorge. Highly recommended!
