About this Space:
Salty Acre is located on a secluded oceanfront acre; a peninsula on a peninsula with water views all around. Oen concept main floor with surrounding windows to look out on the“Little River,” a deep, salt water inlet/harbor. Gambrel ceilings, exposed beams, wrought iron/oak spiral staircase and exposed wood give this beach house style accents. Our pet friendly home is a 2-story, 3 BR, 2 Bath getaway that sleeps 6, including a lovely wood kennel for “Fido.”

Ample room to relax and play, indoors and out. Boil up a lobster feast on the spacious wraparound deck. Umbrella covered teak patio table, along with new lounge furniture sitting area. Plenty of yard games for your use: ladder- ball, bocce, and corn hole.
Amble past perennial gardens down to the shoreline, surrounded by a hand built seawall. Take a dip on the private stony beach, sip something cool on the long pier, or fish for stripers swimming beneath the 20’ float.

Two double kayaks plus one single kayak available for exploration. Sit on the pier and watch for falling stars, or snuggle in and play some boardgames by the cozy, fireplace wood-stove. Only 8 minutes drive to downtown Boothbay Harbor.

Other things to note:
Across the street is the Boothbay Region Land Trust’s first hiking property, the Little River Dam. This is the start of a spectacular 2+ mile Surfside loop walk that’s recently been touted as “a hidden gem." The house does not have air-conditioning, but it is really not needed where the house is located. We are on a peninsula out on a peninsula, practically surrounded by cool north Atlantic water water.
And in the summer the breeze is almost always off the water, cooling the nights down nicely.
We also have window fans available if needed. We have a strict no smoking policy on the property .

There are 2 security cameras one located on driveway and other down by water. The house also has a spiral staircase, which may not be suitable for everybody please take that into account. The wraparound deck may not be suitable for small children because of the railing system. Please review pictures and be sure you’re comfortable with that.

There is a maximum of 6 guests allowed at the house any additional guest need to be approved by owner even if they are not staying overnight. **Multiple week discount available on request.
