Newly built home less than 2 miles from the New River Gorge!

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful, newly built home. Located about a mile from downtown Fayetteville and 1.5 miles from the New River Gorge, enjoy all that Fayetteville has to offer from a private, two-bedroom, two-bathroom home. Relax in the shade on the covered front porch, and enjoy the sunshine from the outdoor seating and dining table on the back porch. Use the fully equipped kitchen and outdoor gas grill for home cooked meals between your West Virginia adventures.

Please note: The house is located in a quiet residential area on a county road. The road is gravel and is what the county calls an "unimproved" road. A high-clearance vehicle is NOT required to navigate the 150 yards or so of the road—just drive slowly. However, in extreme winter conditions, all-wheel drive can be necessary. If booking in the winter and you do not have AWD, please let us know so we can provide alternatives and insure your trip goes smoothly.

We had a great stay at this cabin. It was by far the cleaniest I have ever stayed at in terms of rentals - this was highly appreciated since myself and my Mom are both clean freaks. Neighborhood was quiet and great location to everything we explored in the area.

We had a wonderful time in this gem of a cottage. Ultra-comfortable bed, modern appliances and sleek lay-out. Very convenient to north side of the national park. We highly recommend Brigittes beautiful vrbo and wouldnt hesitate to stay there again.

Wonderful WV Stay

We loved the property! So clean and fresh. Well equipped to cook but also close to great restaurants too. Loved the proximity to New River Gorge and hiking trails. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful property and excellent host! We absolutely loved our stay at Bridgette’s house. It is a great location very close to the New River Gorge bridge. The beds were comfortable, and the house was very clean. There are minimal check out instructions as well, which I very much appreciated.

Wonderful Cottage

We stayed here in October and came back to do the Bridge Walk. Wonderful little cottage close to everything but very private and quiet at the same time.Well appointed, very clean and communication with Bridgette was great.We are planning to come back for Bridge Day and would stay here again.

The house was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed sitting out and using all areas of the porch. The location is in close proximity to restaurants, hiking trails and the bridge. We highly recommend staying here and would love to book again in the future!

This house is new, clean, well furnished and we loved it. It has a nice outdoor covered porch and big deck with a gas grill. The living area is large. Two bedrooms were nice with good mattresses and two full bathrooms. It is convenient to everything. Kitchen has new appliances. The hostess has some spices and coffee for the coffee maker.

Wondful time

The house and location are awesome. Easy access to New River Gorge trail heads and visitor center. The historic Fayetteville downtown has some great little restaurants - Pies & Pints, Cathedral Cafe and Wood & Iron. Would definitely book again.

The home was perfect for our base of operations for me, my wife and son. Close to Adventures on the Gorge and Fayetteville. The home was clean and very usable. We enjoyed the evenings on the deck even in the sweltering heat and rain.

Perfect Stay

We would book this stay again. Everything is brand new and clean as others have mentioned. We truly felt at home. I enjoyed the extra touches including house plants and wrap around porch. Great place to enjoy your morning coffee and watch deer. Location is close to hiking and water activities. Although we brought our own food, the house if close to downtown with plenty of options.

Rafting trip

Location is very convenient close to center of the city and to the activities. House was stocked with supplies that was a plus. We didn't need to buy detergent for cleaning our clothes or soap to shower with.

Great location near NRG

Great stay for 2 nights for Bridge Day 2024. Beds were comfortable, house very clean and well decorated, new appliances and kitchen well stocked, good water pressure and soft towels. Overall excellent stay and would definitively recommend.

We spend as much time as possible in West Virginia's rivers, lakes, and mountains, and we'd love to share it all with you! We built Goose Creek Retreat together and just finished construction in February 2023.
