Modern Coastal Katama Retreat - 4th Season of 5 Star Summers

This stunning architect-designed home was completed in the fall of 2022 and is making its debut rental season in 2023. Located on one of the premier streets in Katama and equidistant to Edgartown Village and South Beach.

The interior furnishings were impeccably designed by Vineyard Decorators. The sun-filled gourmet kitchen features Viking and Sub-Zero appliances, a Breville Barista Touch Espresso Machine, and brand new kitchenwares from Pottery Barn and Williams-Sonoma.

An open-floor plan is perfectly designed for indoor-outdoor living with a wall of sliding glass doors that open up to a stone terrace with pergola, a living area and outdoor gas fireplace.

The first floor primary suite is a gorgeous retreat with vaulted ceilings, french doors that open to a terrace, a spacious walk-in closet, and en suite bathroom with a luxurious soaking tub.

Upstairs are two guest bedrooms. The first room has a queen bed, a large closet, and en suite bath. The other has 2 twin beds and a bathroom located in the hallway.

Other areas of note:

An upstairs lounge with a Frame TV and a sofa that pulls out into a queen sized sleeper. The perfect place to retreat for movies, sports, or just some quiet reading!

Downstairs is an office/reading nook for a great opportunity to work remote with a beautiful view!

Two laundry spaces - both upstairs and downstairs.

A small kitchen/wet bar area with an entrance from the outdoors. It's stocked with outdoor glassware and dinnerware, a small fridge and dishwasher. Perfect for grabbing drinks and snacks while spending time outdoors.

The basement has a Peloton for those who want to continue their workouts while away from home!

Amazing family stay at this immaculate home

We had an absolutely perfect stay at this stunning vacation rental! The home was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated with tasteful, high-end finishes throughout. From the luxurious towels to the well-stocked kitchen with quality dishes and cookware, every detail was thoughtfully considered. It was also incredibly family-friendly — our young kids felt right at home.The location couldn’t have been better — just 5 minutes from charming Edgartown and only 3 minutes from the beach, making every outing quick and easy. Communication with the property owner was seamless and pleasant from start to finish. We truly felt like valued guests. We’re already counting down the days until we can return next summer!

Beautiful MV Home In Katama

We LOVED our stay at this beautiful home! It is impeccably designed and decorated. Great location - close to downtown Edgartown shops and restaurants! Owners were very responsive with questions. Was always nice to come back to this lovely home after each day of exploring the island. Would highly recommend this listing!

Our MV Get Away!

Spectacular and beautifully decorated with incredible attention to detail. All the amenities were provided, including bikes (which was a welcome surprise). Owner and caretaker were very responsive and kind. Walking distance to the beach. It’s a perfect home away from home. We had a wonderful time.

Amazing

Exceptional home, location, grounds and host. This property exceeded my expectations in cleanliness, beauty, comfort and owner responsiveness. I LOVED this property and can’t wait to come back as did my family of 3 adult kids. Edgartown center and Katama beaches are a short 5 min drive as is the airfield for those who would like to fly a biplane and tour the island from above. The home is new and equipped with a full kitchen, 4 adult and 1 kid bikes with 3 adult and 1 child helmets, beach towels, BBQ, internet, on site parking for multiple cars, TVs, beautiful outdoor dining and seating areas, well-manicured lawn and manicured gardens, coffee and cappuccino makers, and more. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing and there is a bike trail near by. Overall an amazing and beautiful experience and wonderful host and now one of my top favorites ever in VRBO.

Gorgeous Home/Great Location

This home is stunning! No detail is missed. You truly will enjoy every minute of your stay here. Communication with the owner was extremely responsive through the booking process and stay. Pros: (1) Basics provided such as paper towel, toliet paper, washing detergent, soap, coffee, coffee filters. (2) Bikes were provided but we were unable to use them due to weather. (3) Linens were amazing and scrumptions (4) Beds very comfortable. (5) Cozy indoor/outdoor fireplace. (5) Location was great. And there is a grocery store close by for essentials. (6) Kitchen is a dream for cooking and entertaining large groups if needed. Cons: None Tip: Door locks were a little tricky on front door and primary bedroom. It's the kind where you lift the handle up and it does a double bolt lock but we were struggling to get them to work at first so make sure to check them out early on. Fun Fact: The windows open from the top or bottom pane!!

A brides dream

I stayed at this property over our wedding weekend. I had the place with my mom and a couple girl friends before the wedding and then my husband joined me after the wedding. It was a far better option than the hotels on island and about the same cost as booking a basic room. Hair and makeup came and got us on ready onsite, which was very comfortable given the size of the living room. It was also close to where other friends stayed, making it a perfect location for us. The kitchen is gorgeous, and could def accommodate any chef. The fireplace was perfect in the fall. I saw a very luxe outdoor shower, but it was a little to cold for that in October. I think it would be nice to add a TV in the master bedroom, but that’s not super important to me in a short term rental. I feel lucky we were able to rent this shortly after it went up on VRBO. I’m guessing the pricing will significantly increase down the line and we got an early renter’s rate while they build strong reviews. This house is even better than the photos. It would be perfect for a family vacation or group trip. Can’t say enough good things about our experience.

Beautiful Katama like new home

Beautiful perfect location. Perfect condition. Exactly as described. Everything was top of the line. Only issue was the Wi-Fi did not work but the owner was very communicative, and solved the issue as soon as she could. And proactively offered to compensate us fairly.

We'll be back!

We loved every second at this Coastal Retreat! Stunning home -- so well designed, appointed and maintained, great location, and perfectly represented. We loved cocktail hour, hanging out and eating on the patio, using the bikes to get around, the outdoor shower (heavenly!), and the cozy rooms. Literally -- every room was so comfortable and perfect! It was our first trip to Martha's Vineyard and having the chance to stay at this beautiful home made it one of our best vacations ever. We will definitely be back!

This home is everything and more than the pictures and descriptions. We had the perfect weekend of friends and fun. The house has everything you need, the space to get together or have some alone time and a beautiful location. Easy walk to Edgartown. Will definitely be back.
