Great location

This is a great location. 10 minutes away from everything we wanted to do and restaurants are wonderful.

Wonderful hosts!

We had a great weekend at Casa Cantera! Julio and Sofie were wonderful hosts. The home was clean and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. We will definitely come back to Casa Cantera!

Great stay!!

We had a great stay! Home was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Quiet, safe neighborhood and lots of restaurants and shops near by. The subdivision pool was a great feature to have. Communication with the owner could not have been better!! Hope to return some day!

We stay in many rentals each yeah, and my wife said this was one of her top few. The house was very clean, plenty of room…exactly as described. Had plenty of amenities, and everything was very clear.

Absolutely the BEST place to stay in San Antonio.

We visit San Antonio whenever we can as a family, and this visit was for my son’s 18th birthday. EVERYTHING about this home is perfect. The beds are lovely and comfy. The neighborhood is safe, quiet, and close to everything. The kids LOVED the air hockey table upstairs. So many lovely family memories were made. This will be our location of choice in the future.

Wonderful Family Friendly Home close to San Antonio attractions

Beautiful family friendly home close to San Antonio attractions and airport. This home is as pictured and described by the host, Sofie. It was well stocked with dishes, etc. We lacked nothing. It was very clean. It is spacious. The host replied promptly to any questions we had and is very friendly. We would 100% stay here again the next time we are in San Antonio.

You won't be disappointed!

Sophie and Julio are excellent hosts! They thought of everything to make a family stay fun and enjoyable, including games, an air hockey table for the kids, and of course, the community pool. The beds were comfy, there were lots of nice towels and all the thoughtful little amenities to make it very easy to settle in. We were attending our grandson's wedding in San Antonio and stayed here with our son and his family. It was SO MUCH BETTER than staying at a hotel! This will be our "home away from home" anytime we're in San Antonio! Don't hesitate to book this one!

Special home away from home!

Safe, upscale neighborhood with a variety of restaurants, entertainment and shopping within minutes. The decor is welcoming and the furnishings are comfortable. Everything from the towels to the coffee bar was varied, plentiful and high end. The hosts were easily accessible and so gracious. Only 2 check out things to do. I will return for relaxation. Thanks.

Thanksgiving in San Antonio

We chose San Antonio as a central meeting spot for our family holiday. This was the perfect house and I couldn't be more pleased with my choice. The house is absolutely beautiful and located in a convenient area close to shopping and grocery stores. Sofie was wonderful and answered any questions I had in minutes. The spacious kitchen was a blessing as we prepared our Thanksgiving meal together. My adult kids loved the air hockey and the corn hole game. As we were packing to leave, my kids said "Mom, I think this was our best Thanksgiving ever". If your travels take you to San Antonio, please consider this home. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Julio and Sofie.

Blown Away by Casa Cantera

OMG! What a beautiful house with all the comforts of home and then some. It was spotless, meticulously organized—rooms all labeled, plenty of closet space and storage containers for your every need. My family loved this house and my grandkids loved the air hockey table, games and reading area with books in the loft. After a long day they slept to the sounds of crickets in their bedroom. Everything we needed was here including a baby highchair, playpen, televisions in family room and loft, also power strips in every bedroom to charge electronics. We loved the kitchen, stainless steel appliances and marble island where we ate our breakfast and snacks. The entire house was smartly decorated with photos that celebrated San Antonio. The back yard was awesome even though we did not grill out or visit the community pool. Our hosts were wonderful and very attentive before, during and after our visit. We want to stay here next time we visit San Antonio.

Great house! Great host! Great area!

We loved the house! There was a “welcome” bag with local goodies that we absolutely loved and stocked up on at the HEB on our way out. Everything was so nice and clean. We checked out the community pool and had a great time. The house is well lit in and out. We thought the white noise machines were thoughtful but we didn’t even use them because it was quiet overall. We did use the usb plugs, the remotes and hooks that were conveniently located and clearly marked. Loved the ceiling fan in the bathroom so you get out of the shower to a fresh breeze. (FYI I’m putting one in my house!) Enjoyed the yard and birds for morning Texas brand coffee and hot Shipley’s donuts. Plenty of games and entertainment. So many things within minutes: Target, Walmart, banks, a minor emergency clinic, Culver’s, Bill Miller’s and 24 hour Whataburger (good info from the Welcome Book). Sofie was so nice in talking to us. Even “Hey Google” did a good job. This is now our preferred stay.

We're located only a few minutes from IH10 and that takes us almost anywhere we want to go! We can pick a different restaurant almost every day and find it within a few miles. Shopping, a favorite pastime, is also minutes away. Even the Majestic Theatre downtown that we love to go to is only 13 miles. The fact that the house is backed up to a busy street is not even consequential because of the convenience to everything we love to do and you don't really notice the noise unless you're in the back yard. We've had such great times at this house and hope you experience the same while you're here!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We chose this neighborhood because of the beautiful and abundant oak trees and chose the house because of the high ceilings and open floor plan. We usually start our mornings sipping a cup of coffee while sitting in the living room and watching the birds and squirrels at play. Some days we'll follow that up with a nice walk around the neighborhood. Since it's a small subdivision it doesn't really take us that long. It's then easy to plan our day around the area and get things done.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The Live Oak trees provide us with a relaxing atmosphere. It's hard to believe that we are surrounded by busy streets and buildings because here we feel like we are in touch with nature. We've even designed our decor to bring nature in.
