This charming apartment is located smack in the middle of downtown Salida & the perfect location to experience everything Salida has to offer. Only blocks away from the Arkansas River, this historic apartment provides easy access to shopping, biking, art galleries, hiking, breweries, restaurants, skiing, river rafting, fly fishing, hot springs, golf, festivals & more.
Only 20 miles from Monarch Ski Area.

Since we are located right in the middle of downtown, you can easily walk to restaurants, bars, shopping, galleries, Arkansas River, grocery store, etc.

Note that since we are downtown, there is the potential for noise.
Our condo is on the second story, and please note that there is no elevator so you will need to walk up a staircase to reach the condo.
Easy 2 hour free street parking available just outside the building entrance. Free extended parking is nearby. See parking map at the Salida Chamber Website - online search “Salida Chamber Parking Map”.


Please no smoking, pets, events or parties in this home. Our TV is HDTV with Roku so you can access your own accounts. We provide a Keurig coffee maker with pods, as well as a drip coffee maker if you prefer that, though you'll need to bring your own grounds if you choose to use that.

Memorial Day Stay in Salida

The property was clean and perfectly located allowing limited need to travel by car and the ability to walk almost anywhere we wanted to go. The host was great and contacted us a couple of times early on to ensure everything was going well. We felt like we could reach out to her with questions anytime and not feel like we were bothering her. Already planning a return trip to the same property.

Adorable, Clean and Comfortable

Not only was this place adorable, clean, and comfortable, it was right in the heart of the downtown area! You could walk to anywhere. There’s tons of great restaurants, coffee shops and bakeries! The bed was just like home and the owner thought of everything. Right down to a sound machine by the bed and a jar full of phone cords in case you forgot yours! Amazing place and will definitely go back!

Great Location, Nice 1 Bedroom Unit

Unit was in a great location on F-Street within few blocks of the River and Riverside Park. Bed and couch were super comfortable. Shower water pressure and temperature were great. The kitchen had the bare minimums. We had to purchase a pitcher, tupperware, saran wrap, and baggies - these are nice to have amenities if you want to cook some meals to avoid eating out all the time. Disappointed that outdoor area was not connected to the unit - listing made it seem that it was directly connected - it is down a shared hallway; therefore, not conducive to eating out on it easily. Owner/manager was very responsive and checked in at least twice to make sure everything was going well. Only suitable for 2 guests. Overall nice place for 2 adults who want to be in the heart of the downtown area.

I loved staying at Heidi’s place. It was very cozy and had everything I needed. It is right on the Main Street (F Street) where you are able to walk to multiple stores, restaurants and the river. It made the experience so much better to be able to quickly come and go.

Heidi's Place

We stayed in Heidi's Place for 4 nights in June of 2024, it was an awesome location in downtown Salida. Everything about it was perfect, the bathroom, kitchen, living area and bedroom. It was very clean and comfortable. Jessica, the host, was awesome and a great communicator. We will definitely stay there again. Thanks for an enjoyable vacation!!!!

Quaint and Cozy

We stayed here for a long weekend. The place is tucked upstairs over the coffee shop. It has a fully functional kitchen and all the dishes you’ll need. The bed is beyond comfortable and the cleanliness and comfort is impeccable. Will definitely book again.

Delightful Downtown Loft

Heidi's Place is in the heart of downtown Salida and easy access to restaurants, shops, brewpubs, and walking to the river. It is nicely appointed and simple. We loved staying there!
