Solo pasos a la arena

No solo estás en la playa, eres el propietario de la playa.

Disfrute de nuestra acogedora y espaciosa casa frente a la playa de 1400 pies cuadrados en la playa de arena con impresionantes vistas sobre el Golfo de México y la Bahía de Navidad. Toda la casa acaba de ser remodelada: cocina, baños, pintura, cubiertas, chimenea, camas, sofás, ventiladores de techo, incluso una nueva barandilla blanca y bonita alrededor de las dos cubiertas.

Creemos que disfrutará de su tiempo aquí mientras baja la presión arterial.

El dormitorio principal incluye una cama king size, un futón doble que puede convertirse en una cama doble, lámparas de lectura, un baño en suite con bañera de jardín y ducha separada, vestidor grande, tocador, porche privado y tranquilo. vistas del sol naciente sobre el Golfo (no hay mejor manera de despertarse).

El dormitorio de invitados tiene una nueva cama alta, lámpara de lectura, sillón y tocador. La litera tiene una cama doble en la parte inferior con una doble en la parte superior, otra cama individual y una lámpara de lectura. Siéntase libre de sacar nuestras tablas de surf en el armario.

La casa está literalmente justo en la playa con solo una duna de arena entre la playa y nuestra casa. Nuestro vecindario utiliza un pequeño puente cruzado de madera para llegar a la playa y preservar las dunas. La playa en sí es hermosa para encontrar tesoros como conchas que se lavan del mar. En su mayoría hay arena fina con conchas intercaladas. En verano, el agua alrededor de Galveston es cálida. Durante ciertas semanas a lo largo del año, los bañistas verán una línea de algas que se ha lavado en la playa. Las algas no siempre están ahí y no son la norma, pero es natural y solo una parte del ecosistema de la playa. Es parcialmente responsable de construir la playa y las dunas que todos disfrutamos.

The house is beautiful inside and kitchen was very well stocked with all that you would need to prepare meals. The mornings we walked on the beach it felt like we would go long stretches of time with us being the only ones on the beach.

Perfect spot for family vacation

We wanted to be away from the Galveston crowds but close enough to enjoy restaurants and attractions. The house on the beach was perfect! The beach was great and literally steps from the house, so easy to enjoy with the little ones. House setup worked really well for us with three bedrooms and the equipped kitchen. aparticularfavorite

Escape the cold!

We go to San Luis pass every couple of winters to escape the cold of Minnesota. The property was nice and directly on the beach. The host helped us out with something. She is the best property host I have ever dealt with. Plan on going back next winter.

Wonderful Fall Break Family Vacation

It was so great staying right on the beach. Especially for my parents who do not get around easily, they got to enjoy the beach from the comforts of home. House was very comfortable and very well stocked. The owner was very helpful and responsive to our questions. We would definitely stay here again.

This was our 3rd stay here, and it was great as always! Beds are comfortable, house has everything you need to cook, enjoy the beach, and spend time with family. You can’t beat the location and ease of just walking right upstairs if you are enjoying beach time. We can’t wait to return!

Wonderful Weekend Getaway

We had such a great time this weekend. The house is right on the beach. It was a very low key and not crowded location. Our kids found seashells, boogie boarded and built sand castles all day. What a great property. The owners are super helpful.

Wonderful property in Freeport

We booked a family getaway and really enjoyed this property. Katie is a wonderful host. The house was fully stocked and very clean. Communication was awesome and Katie was very responsive. The location is fabulous - right on the beach! We will definitely be back.

Amazing March Vacation!

We have stayed at many VRBO rentals in the Galveston area, and this one is at the top of our list! House has everything we needed, super close to the beach, so it was never a problem to run up and grab things we forgot. Beds were comfortable, and my kids loved the queen size bunk beds! Plenty of dishes, towels, and everything worked wonderfully! We will be back!

Short Family Beach Trip

We had an amazing experience staying in the house, it was everything as described. The owner was very accommodating and even helped plan outings. She was very welcoming and quick to respond to any questions we had. We loved watching the dolphins from the balcony and walking the beach in the mornings. We will definitely be back! First Vrbo

This was our family’s first ever Vrbo and it was a great experience! This property was perfect and beautiful in an amazing location! We have a 4 sons and this was a great spot. Swimming and crabing for the littles/mom and fishing for the older boys/dad! I highly recommend! The house was a good size with plenty of room for everyone. I don’t have another rental to compare it to but it’s was great and I’d definitely rent it again!

Beach Getaway

The house was everything we expected and more. Also, we had several questions when we first arrived and Katie was very responsive in taking care of us. We enjoyed the kitchen, huge windows with 180 degree views of the shoreline, great A/C, ceiling fans, and comfy beds. There was really good broadband internet and smart TVs for relaxing on the couch at night. Great experience all around. We’ll be coming back for sure! James

Overall great stay

This property is true to pictures and descriptions. We had issues with the lights outside by the pool, but the hosts were prompt in responding and had someone out the next day to look (and fix) them. The 2nd floor does get warm but that was explained to us and it was recommended that we try to not open the outside doors a lot to keep the temp down. Hard to do with kids though. The only other issue we had was that we did see 2 roaches. The pool was definitely an oasis and the best part of our stay. We used the pool everyday! The check out process was super easy and convenient. Overall it was a great stay and I would stay again.

Heavenly!

Stunning views, and OH the crashing waves …So therapeutic! Right on the beach with great fishing & crabbing - literally just steps away! We brought & set up our chairs, horseshoes & cornhole on the bottom level - there is plenty of room! Do bring your own beach chairs if you want to hang out and grill & play on the bottom level. Our stay was 10/10 awesome, from start to finish. Katie was so helpful & accessible. Home was VERY clean, cozy, and had the most comfortable beds & linens ! We are a tall family - all beds were awesome and the bunks accommodated our sons who are both over 6ft comfortably! Plenty of parking as well. All the essentials were on hand … towels - don’t bring any - several bath & beach towels on hand as well as full-size Washer/Dryer, Charcoal grill, cookware, & coffee maker ! Also, plenty of beach toys and lots of boogie boards- literally a stack of them! Everything we needed & more. We look forward to visiting again. Thanks again, Katie, for sharing your beautiful home!

Best house on the Texas Coast

This house was amazing and had everything you could want in a vacation home. The location was perfect and right on the beach. The two younger kids loved being able to walk right onto the beach. We were able to set all of our umbrellas and ice chests out before the massive July 4th crowds showed up. The decks were perfect to listen to the ocean and watch the sunsets. Got to see a couple of big storms roll in as well. This spot is perfect for fishing, but unfortunately they weren’t biting for anyone. I’ve seen videos of people catching massive Reds and Specs here. The inside of the house was very spacious. The beds were some of the best we have ever slept in. The AC was always cold and everything worked great. We went on July 4th weekend which brought record crowds. It got so bad that a few of the beaches on Galveston Island were closed. The location of the house at the end of the block made it a prime location for people to enter and exit the beach from under the house. When we arrived we literally had 20 people sitting on the downstairs deck and blocking the drive way. It was a constant flow of people to and from the beach. Luckily this only lasted for 3 days of our trip. Reading the reviews this was not a normal occurrence. Can’t wait to book again during the off-season with less people.

Beautiful beach

We enjoyed staying at the beach house Nov 17 - 20. The weather wasn't exactly beachy however the view of the ocean with the exceptional. We found everything to be available and a lot of room for the family. Thanks We will stay again.

Perfect vacation spot

Loved the home, view, remoteness and beach access. Got provisions from HEB for breakfast and lunches. Spent time on the beach and on the porch. The house is so close to the water sitting on the porch was just as good. Afternoons we reserved for going into Galveston to check out some museums and eat dinner. The house is very nice and has everything you need. Took our dogs they had the best time chasing crabs and had a nice porch to get clean and dry before going inside. The bath tub and view is also a very nice aspect. Highly recommended vacation rental!!! We will be back.
